Top marks all round. Great authentic dishes cooked to perfection, the staff are absolutely fantastic making sure everyone feels welcome. When you leave at the end of the evening you will be looking forward to booking to return again soon. La Familia also holds brilliant tribute nights, they are very popular so before you leave book a night of great entertainment, bring friends and family and enjoy the true entertainment hub of Hampton Hill all while you enjoy a great meal.

Meh. Service was unenthusiastic, with one staff on the rude side. Food lacked flavour; the patatas bravas without any kick, the salad simple-boring-sad (one tomato cut into slices on shredded iceberg lettuce, with a bit of dressing drizzled around). Edible but not enjoyable. Won’t be going back.

Great Spanish restaurant in the heart of Hampton Hill with great service and delicious food. Would recommend booking in advance as there are quiet a few times that we've had trouble getting a table.

Came here after a walk in Bushy Park and had a lovely meal. The good is amazing and service is spot on. I would highly recommend this restaurant 😃

Came in for dinner with my son and his girlfriend. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was lovely, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Atmosphere, though loud inside, the restaurant is full of chatter from other diners enjoying their time at the restaurant

Good food, good service, reasonably quiet, very local. I never go back to anywhere that adds a routine 12.5% service charge though. Edit: I apologise for saying that there was a 12 and a half percent compulsory service charge. Perhaps it was only 10%. I think you know very well that most people are not going to complain about a service charge being routinely added, in front of guests. My visit was over 2 years ago, I was just recently prompted by Google to comment, the bill was well over £200, and adding 10% on that has ensured that I have never returned.

We had lunch with friends on 31/12/24 lunchtime and had booked a table a week before. When we arrived the restaurant staff were clearly getting ready for the NYE night celebrations, but we were shown to our table and noted that we were amongst maybe 8-10 other diners and maybe 2 in the bar area. Having ordered our choice of starters and mains, we sat back to enjoy a couple of hours tops to enjoy ourselves. However, it has to be said, that although the food was very good, the service and staff was a little ‘off’. Considering the entire menu was in Spanish with English underneath each option, when I asked a waiter if he was Spanish, he was totallly put out and replied he was Portuguese. Sorry I said, but his distain was clear. We asked for the bill and argued between us jokingly who was paying. This lasted 1 minute tops. We were shocked when she said ‘can you hurry up I’ve got a lot to do’ Our bill was £212 which included a 10% service charge. Maybe they feel they don’t have to be polite because of this ?? Her comments put a real damper on what was a nice afternoon amongst friends. Food good, staff surly. Would not recommend because of this. What a shame

Brilliant restaurant. Food is of great quality and cooking is excellent. Steak cookery in particular is probably one of the best I've ever eaten. Tapas is lovely, a huge range with both hot and cold items on offer and it's all very tasty. Staff are friendly and super helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The whole family business runs like a well oiled machine under the skillful guidance of the De Castro family. The venue lends itself to all sorts of outings - a meal for two, a family outing, a big party destination - whatever you're looking for this should certainly be on your A list of Hampton destinations. Absolutely love the place.

Dinner and Tribute Act for Works night out - staff was so attentive, food was great and plenty of it. The Freddie Mercury act was very good and had everyone involved.

Went for mum and dad's 60th anniversary. It was ABBA night. Great fun with the family. Excellent food and service. An all round good time.

Found this place by chance walking down the road - I’m not local. Reviews looked good so I went in. I was not disappointed. Friendly service. My bravas, omelette, and prawns in mushroom sauce were truly excellent. Bright, spacious, and clean. I’d come back to the area just to visit again. Congratulations to the staff and chef, they clearly care. Rare these days.

Service good, food excellent, especially the calves liver and bacon. Perfectly cooked.

The food was just about passable but very overpriced for the quality. What made our visit here even more unpleasant was the rudeness, arrogance and belligerent behaviour of the staff. It seemed that the waiter and manager were competing with each other at treating the customers with scorn and disdain. Their behaviour (and the quality of food) has ensured that quite a few people will not be returning.

Everything was lovely. Could have been a bit warmer in there.

Disappointing experience. The staff were rude and unwelcoming, which set a negative tone for the evening. The food was mediocre at best—my steak was overcooked and dry, while the fries were undercooked and still partially frozen. Not worth the visit. Will definitely not return.

The best tapas bar I have ever been to by far. The staff are amazing! A family ran restaurant who make you feel part of the family the moment you step in the door! This is our regular haunt for the last 15 years. The food is always amazing, the service is homely and impeccable and they even make time for our dog! Cannot rate this beautiful restaurant and its hosts higher! 🤩

We have been coming to La Familia for about 15 years and it’s absolutely fantastic. It’s a family run Spanish and Portuguese restaurant with a large, delicious and very reasonably priced menu, couple this with the personable and knowledgeable staff and, if I could, I would I give them 6 out of 5 stars on everything. Great food, great drinks, great service, lovely atmosphere. The people working here are so lovely, the tapas and mains are especially delicious and fresh. The events are fun, the locals are lovely and it’s just generally a great time. The cocktails are incredibly moreish which makes happy hour dangerous! Happy to have such a great restaurant and bar so close!

Fabulous! Food is amazing with plenty to choose from! Espetada is definitely a favourite with everyone. Good choice of drinks including delicious cocktails and authentic sangria. Absolutely recommend!

We had been out at Hampton Court and just wanted something to early before we went home. The food was good but it was early so the atmosphere was a bit absent

Even though it was mid week this restaurant was quite full. Even so the service was attentive and considerate of all our needs. The food was excellent, and considering we were very comfortable chatting away and not aware of the lateness of the hour no one hurried us out. A restaurant to be remembered favourably.

We have been here before and love the place. The atmosphere is informal, the menu extensive for such a small restaurant whilst the team work hard with the traditional view that the costumer comes first and the rest can wait. So i wasn't surprise to see the row of glasses on the bar whilst we didn't have to wait long for our dessert. The real reason we go here is the sirloin steak on a skewer. Delicious with a few small burned edges and some crispy fat, but above all cooked to perfection. Simply served with some chips and a classic side salad. We picked the peppercorn sauce, but a herb butter might have complimented the steak better. Our Strawberry Daiquiris were on a 2 for 1 offer on Thursday and with a few glasses of wine, coffees and a shared dessert the bill came to just over £90. This is when their first, but painful error happened: I was charged an extra £6 in error and that let the meal down. So enjoy the food, but check the bill

We arrived just before 9pm and were very pleased with our choice of restaurant. My friend had the sirloin skewer and I had the calves liver, washed down with a bottle of rosé. The meats were succulent and altogether tasty. Alas no room for pudding as the portions were generous! We paid around £37 each which we considered good value. We would revisit if in the area again.

The wild boar was amazing and the staff were great plus mani is a red. 👍 YNWA

Really lovely little place. Such friendly staff and the food is delicious. Busy for a Thursday but that just adds to the atmosphere.

Tribute Friday evening, fantastic time. The food, service and event where brilliant. Was expecting to be crammed in like a sardine but very spacious. For a good value, fun night we highly recommend a visit.

We were regular customers to La Familia, following covid. This was our second visit. I had made a decision previously not to revisit, but my colleagues wanted tapas! Tapas was great, main course not so good. We ordered bread with butter, and to my amazement, the 50p charge for butter! A member of our party ordered a Xhicken dish served in a white sauce. The white sauce was just cream, not flavour. I was very disappointed I did raise all the above at the time, but it was a shoulder shrug. This had just reinforced my opinion not to revisit La Familia.

Thankyou Manuel, Tania and all the staff at La Familia, for hosting a wonderful George Michael tribute night. It was the perfect location for us. We had a group of forty for my partner's 50th birthday. She had an amazing night as did we all, and spent the majority of it singing and dancing our way around the restaurant. The restaurant itself, staff, atmosphere, food and drink were all complimented by our party, as was the act who sang amazingly well considering he had been struggling with Laryngitis! A personal note of thanks to both Manuel and Tania, ultimately these are good people who run a superb restaurant. A couple of negatives: 1. Manuel should dance more as he clearly has the moves. 2. I was reminded at the end of the evening that I wasn't actually part of Wham! Great fun. Will be back for sure. Eddie, Sahra, family and friends

We had an excellent meal at La Familia in Hampton Hill, a group of 8 people. The food was excellent - meat (espetada) cooked perfectly, tasty, tender and the accompaniments; all perfectly timed delivery to the table. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient on a v busy day of tables full! Really enjoyed the experience, thank you :-)

Not great at all iv had better steaks at hungery horse pubs i asked what size steaks was on offer no one knew the waitress lady was nice and helpful as she could be but still no answer to what steaks was on offer the waiter however was rude we walked in had to sit our selfs and he pretty much chucked the menus at us wouldn't go back my steak was rough as old boots and everyone looked depressed

Lovely well presented restaurant with excellent food and a good wine list to accompany. Thankfully the meat is of the best quality and we had a steak that was perfectly cooked and I had the lamb that again was delicious. A plus for me is that they have a "Junior" menu as I hate seeing the name "Kids" used. Cheerful service

They always make you feel welcome, a great place to eat. You can eat in the bar area with your dog. They have an excellent chef, the food is great.

North sheen Bowling club as had our annual presentation evening at the restaurant , the food is always fantastic , Tania and her staff are always very helpful with all our requirements , we had another great time and we are definitely coming back next year if not before

Wow, Wow, Wow! 16 of us celebrated the New Year in last night and what an amazing night we all had. For a family run restaurant it was the quality of a five star restaurant. Gordon Ramsey take note, no swearing either!! First class excellent food and friendly staff. We will definitely go back, there was a tribute list up and that's got to be a must from me! Great food, good paella! There were several tables available (the restaurant was fairly empty). but we were given a table for two that was tiny (fine just for tea but not dinner / tappas) - didn’t appreciate the response from the waiter when we changed tables.

Such a friendly and welcoming family restaurant

Disgusting service ruined a birthday celebration. The waiter that settled our bill was unbelievably rude to us a party of 4 women. He refused to take the £80 deposit off the bill and spoke to us so rudely! A shame as all of us have been here multiple times but safe to say none of us will return!

Went on the works Christmas do last night. (Paid beforehand). Worst meal ever ! Salmon was so dry. Poached pears were bright orange ?! Definitely not worth the £30 paid. Didn’t complain at the time as didn’t want to ruin the mood with my work colleagues. Don’t waste your money !

Have always come here for: excellent & generous food - large portions, Service- very friendly and efficient and lovely atmosphere. This is one of our favorite restaurants & our keepfit group always have their delicious xmas lunch here every year for many years! Many thanks to all the staff that make us 40 ladies so welcome! Can accomodate large or small groups, quite an extensive varied menu.Well worth a visit !!

Lovely food, friendly staff and very accommodating to our group size, we came in for our nans birthday (group of 11) and the food was perfect. Good size portions and the churros were delicious too! Would definitely recommend!

I came here with friends for the ABBA night and we had an excellent time, as always. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was spot on. The set menu had some great dishes. I started with cod croquettes followed by steak (cooked perfectly) and finished with berries. The ABBA girls were great fun and really got the party started. Although it did confirm that I can’t dance. Or jive. But I had the time of my life.

This unassuming looking restaurant delivered some tender flaky fish and roasted vegetables in good timing. Definitely recommend.
