Lovely local restaurant with the warmest of welcomes and a delicious lunch. We visited on a match day and reservations are essential!

Just got a gyros at Gyros Unique. Tasty and delicious gyros, would recommend. Staff very professional and polite.

Overall a very odd experience. Food is very bland but ok quality if you’re not that bothered about flavours. Service was great until it was time to pay. We had been served by women all night but the payment was done by a man. Wow very rude! Please be carful as there reception in there is not very good. When we used the card machine and tapped our card it didn’t work the first time which was fine but once we tried again and entered our pin it went through fine. The man decided to tell me that my payment didn’t go through so I respectfully told him I would check my bank on my end as I had entered my pin and didn’t want to pay again. (As the reception in there isn’t good I thought his machine might have been the problem) He became very defensive and unprofessional speaking very loudly in front of customers telling me “if you don’t believe me it’s fine” he repeated this multiple times which I explained that I just wanted to check my bank. Once checking my bank the money had gone through my end and he would not come over when i was trying to show him. Very strange behaviour. We left abruptly and will never be returning. He then proceeded to call my phone to ask me to check the bank tomorrow

Greek Unique is an absolute gem! The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel at home the moment you walk in. As for the food, it's quite literally amazing—authentic Greek flavors that are fresh, vibrant, and delicious. Every dish we tried was exceptional, from the appetizers to the main courses. It's clear they use high-quality ingredients, and the attention to detail in both presentation and taste is impressive. Definitely recommend if you're looking for an authentic Greek dining experience. I can't wait to come back!

One of the best Greek restaurants that I’ve eaten at outside of Greece! Huge selection of traditional food and reasonably priced! Word of warning try not to overdo it on the starters as the mains are BIG!

First visit to Greek Unique, WOW the food was amazing! Dinner with 2 friends, all had main and dessert, portion size of main was incredible so we only had room to share one dessert with 3 spoons, as suggested by staff ! I had main platter of merida chicken souvlaki, 3 skewers of chicken served with fresh salad, pitta bread (so light and fluffy) chips and sauce. Just so good! Our shared dessert was Trilece, sponge soaked in 3 kinds of milk, I cannot tell you how divine this is. Staff were friendly and welcoming, it was very busy for 745 on a Tuesday, buzzing with chatter inside and out, great atmosphere. Excellent experience, highly recommend.

Terrible food, old fries reheated mixed with fresh ones, meat was stale

Fries were old and reheated, sauces and meat very oily.

Food was better before ,everything I had was over cooked and felt rushed to get the tables back .

Already been here with family and this time we brought good friends Food was great and plentiful Our friends really enjoyed their meals. No complaints We will be back

Return family gathering very friendly good service great fresh cooked food. Lots choices small plates full meals etc. Will be going back again can get busy lunchtime and around 7pm.

First the ok bit. The place is clean, reasonably well decorated, the Mains portions are large and the prices competitive for the area. But, unfortunately the food tonight was not great. The lamb skewers arrived smothered in an overpowering, thick English mustard sauce and the meat was dry and accompanying chips were bland. The chicken dish was also dry and bland.. I like to support local.businesses and drove to Twickenham specifically to try this restaurant based on the reviews I had read but I was disappointed. I hope it can improve and more closely resemble true Greek cuisine.

The food is always delicious. Can't fault it at all. Hands down the best I've tasted in the UK. However, I felt incredibly rushed the other night. I asked for starters and half way through, they brought out my mains. I felt like they wanted to maximise on profit. In and out. Real shame. Felt more like fast food than sit down restaurant.

We found this beautiful family run Restaurant last year and we’ve been going since with great pleasure. It’s a place you visit and gives you great atmosphere, amazing staff, the food is always fresh and delicious! Great variety of wines and cocktails, good wine selection! I chose Greek Unique for a last minute lunch , a lovely birthday dinner or a girls night out! I can not fault anything!

Perfect place amazing food friendly service thanks for everything

We ordered a takeaway, and the food was quite good. The lamb skewers in particular were well worth the wait. Falafal were over fried, and the fries were shrivelled and lost their freshness quite soon.

Visited last night felt compelled to write this review after our experience, which was absolutely amazing This place gets incredibly busy on the weekend so booking as advised - the phone was answered by a really friendly member of staff who confirmed our reservation time Our table was ready upon arrival and we were greeted very enthusiastically with genuine friendliness. The place was absolutely buzzing . Everybody was having such a great time and the amazing food was no doubt a great factor in that I had the halloumi platter - so tasty with the lovely addition of grilled aubergine really was a standout vegetation meal for me, Mark had the three lamb kebab platter, the meat was absolutely delicious beautifully presented and Mark cleared his plate. Best Tzatziki I have ever tasted. We asked for an extra portion to be taken home with us. We also treated ourselves to some balaclava and ice cream absolutely beautiful oh my gosh perfect and to the meal. We asked for an extra portion to be taken home with us!! Very reasonable prices with no service charge added as seems to be the norm these days. Will we visit again? In an absolute heartbeat already looking forward to our next meal though.

Staff friendly,food really good. We were a table of 8 people on a busy Saturday afternoon and there was no rushing us too leave .we were all made to feel very welcome.

We enjoyed delicious gyros made from fresh ingredients. The service was excellent and the menu certainly calls for many return visits. Prices were good. I would definitely recommend Greek Unique to anyone who likes a fantastic lunch or dinner.

This food is freshly made and with very generous portion sizes. I had halloumi plater and my husband had a Merida mixed souvlaki. We were so pleased with our choices as they were both delicious. We were surprised how inexpensive everything was when we got the bill. I wish we didn’t live so far away

Friendly staff who are very accommodating to customer needs. The ambience would be better if the lighting wasn't so bright. Aside from that no complaints. The portions are massive, so you will be taking food home!

About fifteen minutes walk from the train station, not very big so worth booking a table as this place is lovely! Fairly priced, delicious food, huge portions, really hospitable staff who know their stuff. We went as a three and we were going to order a platter for four, the waitress said that a platter for two would be sufficient....she was right, we ordered a Greek salad as well and it was more than enough. Loved it so much that I am planning on a trip up from the south coast solely to dine here again.

The best chicken ceaser salad I have ever had, could hardly finish it. Staff always friendly and happy. Dog friendly. If you coming to Twickenham you must come and try yourself. Everything is very well served

Great food and friendly staff. We loved the hummus and grilled cheese (saganaki?) starters both time we have been here, they were delicious. Accidentally over paid by £20 and the owner was honest enough to return the money. Look forward to returning.

Average Greek food. The pork skewers were a bit tough as was the chicken and there must be a tzatziki shortage as there wasn’t enough to go with a platter. It wasn’t terrible but all elements of the meal were just ok and a bit overpriced. Definitely not up to the standard of food in Greece unfortunately. Staff were a bit standoffish even though it wasn’t busy, so it’s also lacking the usual Greek hospitality. Will try somewhere else for Greek food in future.

Just perfect! Note that if you are not eating much at one go, you can easily share one plate :)

Really enjoyable, authentically Greek meal, served in a cheerful family atmosphere. On street tables as well as indoor. We ordered the baklava to share - and just as well, it was huge & yummy!

Booked a table for a birthday meal a week in advance on the day of booking they phoned to say they had to move the booking to an hour and 20 mins later which was no good for us so sadly couldn’t go

Ordered on Deliveroo. Terrible service. The order sent was wrong and the only response from the restaurant was tough - order again or ask for refund from Deliveroo. The woman we spoke to was curt and unhelpful. Measure of a good restaurant is how well they respond when things go wrong - obviously Greek Unique don’t meet the mark. .

One of the best, if not the best place to serve delicious Greek dishes in the UK. Everything was sooo fresh and absolutely delicious. Great, quick and very friendly service. The white home made greek wine was something out of this world. Please be aware that the portions are very generous and you shouldn’t eat the day you’re planning to eat at this super delicious restaurant 😉. Super atmosphere!

If I could give this restaurant more than five stars, I would!!! Me and my family are regulars and we love it so much, the food is DELICIOUS yet affordable (surprisingly so for how good it is) with big portions, the service and atmosphere are amazing, it's just so good all around. I've been taking my friends here for dinner recently too and they've all been talking about how good it is and taking their family - as a surprise for my friend's birthday they turned out all the lights, played music and brought out a cake with candles, which she loved. It's my favourite restaurant and I cannot recommend their baklava enough!

Not for me .. suvlaki not very original..tzatziki..was kind of ok..chips where like plastic..over all..won't be going there again ..very expensive....

I love Greek style food and wasn't disappointed at Greek Unique. We went for the Souvlaki, a large plateful of loveliness and three large meaty skewers. After this we couldn't even look at the menu, let alone consider a pud! Might have had something to do with the beers!

We went here for my birthday, recommend by our friends who also came. The food was amazing the staff are second to non they are fabulous. They play a happy birthday song it was really fun. Great food, great place to go we will be back. Pricing extreamly reasonable

We ordered for my sister’s birthday. The initial delivery was wrong. They then said that they would deliver it. It was delivered over an hour after order. The food was cold and incomplete. My dad spoke to the owner who repeatedly said that it wasn’t his fault. Does that mean it was ours? If they use a delivery company to deliver their food then I believe it is their fault. While it is understandable that issues occur in all business, the fact that they refused to accept responsibility, failed to correct an inaccurate order and were RUDE about it will mean that this is not a place to use for us

A great place to eat. The portions are enormous but the food is of good quality and presented well. The only negative is that they do not have rice available as an alternative to chips.

First time visitors and we were a group of 5 and we had a large table to accommodate us. Decor is modern and clean. Food was hot and freshly made. Portion sizes are very generous. No room for dessert which was a shame. Definitely coming back again for a second visit.

Went on Friday for my friend's 70th. Excellent food and plenty of it. Friendly service. Got quite busy which showed how popular it is.

I chose this restaurant because of a another review citing the great food, large portions and competing pricing. As expected we ordered too much, really enjoyed everything, and took the leftovers home to have later. The staff were friendly and the food did arrive quite quickly. Have already been back already!

Delicious freshly prepared food in huge portions. There were three of us. We had prawn saganki, taramasolata, grilled vegetables, and a mixed platter for two. It could easily have fed 4+ people. Recommended.

This is a casual and friendly restaurant. Delicious and authentic Greek dishes. Giros and so on. All very tasty and nicely served by friendly staff. Busy on a Monday night which is great.
