Excellent party venue!!!. We had our wedding here 06th September 2024 and it was absolutely perfect. The setting looked magical, a historical building dating back to the era of William Morris and Liberty designs that we all still love today. The rooms with exposed brickwork lit by fairy lights and candles...with beautiful outside areas to sit and enjoy on the banks of the river wandle, Abbey Mills a truly hidden gem. The owners John and KC were beyond amazing both with planning and the food was perfect. We had a 3 course carvery dinner and homemade buffet in the eve. All guests were impressed at the quality of the food and the beautiful setting, we had 3 rooms, the main room with seating, dancefloor and dj, the cafe for the buffet and a quieter area to chat, and the conservatory as a games room with pool table, cocktails and alcoholic slushies. Please take a look at the Watermill for any parties or events you are hosting. We comfortably sat 50 daytime guests and increased to 100 in the eve with room for a dj and dance floor. The venue can host more guests if needed. We had the perfect wedding day thanks to the hard work of all the team at the Watermill. Thank you all so much. Karen x

I've been a regular customer here for almost a year now, and I can say with absolute certainty that they've never disappointed. The staff are delightful, the food is fast, and it's delicious too. I personally recommend trying a roast pork stir-fry with special fried rice on the side, its gorgeous. Easily my favourite takeaway on the Morden highstreet.

The service was terrible in many different ways, the initial greeting was nice and we picked to sit upstairs where were seated. After this it went downhill. The restaurant has a QR systeem that works good but while we were picking our food we saw that one of the servers was eating left over food of other guests who had just left. She ate with her bare hands and was cleaning tables and setting them up again without washing hands and also with her mouth full. Our own cutlery was dirty as well it was very oily. Besides hygiene factors there is more stuff. Because of the QR system none of the workers are asking if you're okay they are just bringing the food without saying anything and then just going away. Furthermore because the second floor wasn't that busy the staff was standing around which is fine but they were staring at my girlfriend together for a long time and every time a looked back they just looked away quickly. This is very poor behaviour and made is very uncomfortable. Just a really bad service experience overall. We had ordered some bibimbap, fried chicken and some spicy noodles which I forgot the name of but they were all mediocre at best. The Samgyeopsal (thinly sliced porkbelley) was terrible. Not burnt but just super dry like they had warmed it up again after baking it for too long. It looked and tasted like carton. Just save your money and go to another place with better service and better food and with actual Korean people working and or eating in the restaurant

It's a shame because I've been ordering from here for 12 years and today they totally screwed up! I called to order and they didn't even know what I was talking about. Then they offered a callback which was pointless. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes for my food to turn up and they charged me £3.30 on top of the actual menu price. Appalling service. 12 years of loyalty down the drain! They didn't even offer a discount. Money grabbers! Do not order any food from here!

As a fast food place is not bad, but honestly about customer service there are some details should be improved. My experience today afternoon wasn't really pleasant because when I asked ice to make my tea cooler, one of the staff member that was on the till asked to wait a bit showing me a not very friendly face, then after some minutes I asked her again. Finally she asked one outher staff member for a cup with ice, then she put it on the left side of the till but I was in the right side of the till. The waitress that I spoke first told me "the cup with ice is there and you can take it". I was really negatively surprised with that atitude, not professional and also rude. They can't move themselves to serve the customers, they just stand where they are, it looks like a very lazy attitude too. I had walk and cross the queue to achieve the left side of the till with more or less 3 meters to take it. I haven't felt very welcome to be honest and I will never came back to that place anymore. I really suggest to that company that should be more responsable for their employees behavior and give them more training/education specifically for them to learn how to attend costumers in a proper way.

This is hands down the worst burger King I have been to! I worked in the area for 2 months and over that course of time I went there quite a lot as It was convenient late at night, and I can confirm it was consistently appalling! Under staffed always out of sauces, the drink machine always out of the good flavours that I like. The self ordering machine always out of order to your forced to order at the till. Understaffed the black guy with the dreads who’s meant to be taking the orders makes you wait 10 minutes as he’s preparing the drive thru orders! Absolute shambles when as I ask him who’s taking orders after 5 minutes of being ignored he rudely says just wait your turn and stand behind the guy in front of me in the queue! The worst Burger King !!! That franchisee should be ashamed of him self!

I ordered online. My order was accepted, and while waiting for it to arrive, I got notice that my order was cancelled. No reason was given. Do not accept the order if you can't deliver it.

Managed to book a table for two in the outdoor area. Staff all very helpful. Enjoyed a great night with fellow England supporters. Was a fantastic atmosphere. Food good too.

Absolutely appalling setup they have here. My girlfriend's family are American so they recommended I visit a blues jam in London and saw this one every Saturday. Firstly the venue seems to be in a wider complex with overpriced food stalls, to get in to the whole place you have to have a bag search and they told me they needed to take my drinks bottle which contained insulin. I tried to explain that I need to keep it with me and the security man didnt want to know (I dont think he understood what I was saying either), all he said was he'll give me a ticket and I can collect afterwards. How pathetic can a venue be to want to take everyones drinks away, even water, so to buy £7 drinks inside? No decent pub or bar does that even in London. We spoke to another couple and they agreed they wont be comming again and the place seems to be full of 'once visit' tourist or trendy types that you rarely see twice. If they relax the security taking your bottles from you and be realistic with the prices then I may come back as the Blues jam itself was pretty decent. What a shame the management is pretty poor, definately not recommended.
