Starbucks wimbledon in Merton

Weak bucket of coffee. Stale croissants, definitely not baked this morning. The standards the British accepts are depressing.

Good Starbucks and gets the job done . The only thing bringing it down is sometimes it is extremely busy and the toilets and restaurant are often dirty and the service can sometimes be mediocre. Apart from that it’s just a regular Starbucks

The guy at The counter thought it was OK to ignore me ( a customer) while doing something he felt more important I just walked away. Appalling customer service

I love to go local, good service, clean and nice, wonderful croassant and the hot ham / cheese mix, but the cakes are not soft, the hot chocolate is watery and the juices are not good. They could accept suggestions.

This is my local branch of Starbucks and usually great, but I had such a strange (and somewhat hilarious) conversation with the young woman behind the till today that I felt I had to share: So I went to Starbucks this morning to have a coffee whilst I studied. Went to get my second drink and thought I might get a lemon muffin. Noticed a fly in the enclosed food cabinet (enclosed display cabinet, but uncovered food inside it). When I (very politely) point this out to the young woman behind the till, she responds ‘So? There are always flies in with the food’.... I said I could do without a cake and ordered my coffee. Flies with your food. Nice. Good one Starbucks!

Seventy degrees and hot chocolate in Wimbledon. Got chocolate was perfect. Barista was very nice and efficient.

Not a great fan of coffee at Starbucks but I am hooked on the coffee frappachino ( is that spelt right? ) Just the thing before a trip to the tennis and Wimbledon Village, a bit of a walk up the hill! Nothing like sitting outside, people watching.

Another classic Starbucks decoration in another Starbucks coffee place in another busy area. So nothing new. Apart from the staff. They get worse. We ordered 2 coffees. On the first coffee they didn't ask us if we wanted cream on top so they just put it there. Smart! On the second one, they made another coffee from what I ordered and on top of that when they made the correct one they just left it there without calling my name or just letting me know that it was my coffee. I had to ask them after 5 minutes just to make sure that wasn't someones else's coffee. I mean come on now...and it wasn't that busy...do some training people

I went in this coffee house today and it is the dirtiest coffee shop I've had the misfortune to use tables covered in food ,cups , etc the table for sugar was full of rubbish absolute state the floor was absolutely filthy and was confirmed by a pigeon yes pigeon walking around plenty to feed on my wife hates things like pigeon filthy things so when I went to get coffee I ask Karina Muslim woman to ask manager to remove said pigeon did nothing as I left her spoke to Joseph ask him to get rid of pigeon blank look obviously not interested at all a throw back to the 60s hippy community eventually the pigeon was full walked out aided by schoolgirls it came back in and man tried to kick it out hit at it with bag which made it fly into window and out of door where it was eating on our departure plenty of food as staff not interested in cleaning only saw Joseph bring bag of rubbish down from upstairs but didn't touch downstairs for the 30/45 mins in there stay well clear

Perched by the traffic lights, this branch of the almost ubiquitous chain of coffee shops (the one in Surbiton has, mysteriously, just closed), is a great place to sit outside on warm days... if you're a fan of watching traffic. You breathe in the rather putrid air at this junction, worsened by 50 idling taxis in the slip road alongside the station. And the branch itself, inside, has an oddly soulless quality that is hard to pin down. On balance, the independent coffee shops may be less advantageously positioned, but are infinitely more personable and friendly, relaxing and welcoming.

Opposite Wimbledon mainline station it one of the largest coffee shops in the area. Seating outside and indoors it’s usually always very busy even until late night with breakfast rush after school kids and even crowds wanting to relax after work or at the weekend. Standard Starbucks quality coffee and baked good with professional service and well-trained staff.

I went last evening to have a coffee. I was waiting and waiting to finally get my drink when I realised that people who had arrived much after me were getting their drinks already... I questioned the employee who just answered "but you're speaking on your phone". Didn't know that I wouldn't be served till on my phone at Starbucks... Then visibly bothered he said he would make my drink now. But honestly, served and spoken to that way, I no longer wanted a coffee from there. Got my money back and went to another place up the hill and didn't regret it. That was my last trip to Starbucks wimbledon!

During my time in Wimbledon I used to go to this coffee. They have seats in the second floor - the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. If you have to study, this may be the perfect place. :)

This Starbucks is open late evenings when everywhere else is shut. Always quite busy with some seating on the pavement . Coffee is good although general cleanliness in the seating area on an evening could be improved , this would help with the ambience.

This Starbucks branch is quite large with a lot of space and a good selection of coffee, sandwiches and related food items. It also offers good free Wifi.
