Very poor. Slow service, even with a telephone pre-order and on a quiet night. After waiting 30+ minutes my burger was also cold. Would not recommend

Great spot to grab a burger for lunch or dinner. The restaurant has a laid back vibe and the service is also very good. Not to mention the great bureger!

This was the second visit to the venue, the first visit having been immediately at it’s initial opening. The venue itself is pleasant and the staff friendly and the food (when finally) served was reasonable. The acoustics of the venue are not great as we found out as the venue filled. However, the problem experienced was the huge waits for food ordered to be delivered. After a delayed ordering, we then waited nearly an hour for the burgers to be served! And then one order was not as requested necessitating a replacement (allergy avoidance). When the delays were added to the relatively high cost of food (especially the side dishes - chips, onion rings etc) and the automatic inclusion of a 12.5% service charge, we were left with a sour taste in our mouths! We won’t be revisiting (restaurant choices in area is great).

We went for Sunday lunch and were quickly seated at our reserved table. After ordering drinks, only half showed up. It took another 10 minutes before the server returned for the food order, and we had to remind them about the missing drinks. The excuse was that the bar was busy, but when one of the drinks finally arrived, it was just a can pulled from the fridge—something that clearly shouldn't have taken 10 minutes. It was obvious they had simply forgotten. The food was no better. Although the portions looked big, the roast chicken was dry, and the porchetta was a sad, thin slice, also dry and missing both apple sauce and proper gravy. Despite three people ordering roasts, we were given only one small gravy boat to share, which was ridiculous. I won’t be coming back. The food and service were both poor, and the prices are a complete joke for what you actually get. It’s clear they’re relying on the pub’s location to justify the inflated costs, not the quality. Definitely not worth it.

🚇 Tooting 🍺 £5.95 Pravha The Goringe Park is located on the border between Tooting and Mitcham in Southwest London. The nearest station is Tooting mainline, the nearest Tube is Tooting Broadway. The Gorringe Park dates back to 1879, taking its name from the nearby Gorringe Park Estate which is long since been swallowed up by suburbia. This was originally a Young and Co pub, Charles Wells Pub Company purchased it from Youngs in 2012. This is a vibrant and spacious multiroom pub which is set out over three floors. The main bar is located on the ground floor and is set out in a “J” shape around a centrally located servery. The decor is bold, mixing bright colours, eclectic furniture and traditional fireplaces. In the basement is a Cinema room, upstairs is a function room called The Library which has a small bar and a contemporary decorative feel. At the back of the pub is a walled beer garden with a tiki hut. The beer line up was broad and featured familiar brands, two cask ales and beers from @brewpointuk which I’ve not seen in London before. I kept it simple and ordered a Pravha, my pint was great, price point was average. The food menu was predominantly burgers with a few traditional pub grub options, Fish & Chips costs £13.95. I arrived just after opening at 12pm and was the first punter through the doors. I was greeted by the Guv’nor who was welcoming, friendly and personable. He was kind enough to give me a tour of the pub, and he told me all about the history of the pub and what they have on. Unfortunately this pub shut its doors in the summer and it is not clear what the next step is or what the future holds. One thing is for certain, pubs are closing at a phenomenal rate across the country and need as much support as they can get. Utilities companies, landlords and the government need to do a lot more. Also, they need our support in our local communities. Use it or lose it, support your local pub where you can. 📅 13th April 2024 More London Pub info @londonpubmap 🍻

Good central pub in Wimbledon. Very popular and quite expensive but think that is driven by youngs unfortunately. Food is a tad hit and miss. Works well for hosting events between themselves and the Loft upstairs

While it is a bit more expensive than other places we always eat here when in London. My family had the Sunday roast which was very good and not too expensive and I had the beautiful afternoon tea. It was lovely and a great experience.

As we’re staying at the hotel decided to try the restaurant and wrote what a great meal we had. The young waitress was very attentive without being overbearing, & gave us time to study the extensive menu. I ordered chicken korma medium, shared a tarka Dahl, roti, naan & small rice with one person, whilst the others ordered different dishes. The food was amazing, so tasty, and large portions, not expensive.. washed down with cobra (on tap).
