Delivery was delayed over an hour and then arrived stone cold

Order was missing an item. Muhammad at the shop resolved by saying we could get free item without any reference ?

I placed an order on Just Eat, only to be left disheartened when it never arrived. Upon contacting the restaurant for clarification, I encountered a distressing level of discourtesy and aggression from the individual handling the inquiry. Disregarding my attempts to clarify the situation, they accused me of lying and even resorted to calling me offensive names. They have claimed that ‘a friend’ has collected my order. Firstly, why would I place an online order for delivery if someone is going to collect it? The location tracker indicated it was 10 minutes away, then suddenly marked as delivered. The staff over the phone began shouting and repeatedly called me a liar and thief. Another staff member took the phone and continued to shout at me, hurling rude names. This is unacceptable. As a regular customer who frequently orders from multiple Pepe's locations, I found the manner in which I was spoken to utterly unacceptable. I have lodged a significant complaint regarding this issue. The treatment I received as a customer is not acceptable in any establishment. Calling me offensive names and accusing me of lying is unprofessional. I hope the calls were recorded. Just Eat will address each person who spoke to me in this manner.

We received our meal after 2 hours of waiting and being lied to by the pepes team. Our meal was cold and we didnt receive the sauces that we had paid for

Absolutely horrible , I ordered a hot chicken burger like I always do and was given a plain chicken burger instead and when I tried to get a refund the Just Eat worker told me I can’t get a refund because there is nothing wrong with my order when I literally sent pictures as proof to show I ordered something to what I have been given .

Food cold, driver left the food front door and left , i ordered 2 piece chicke the gave us 1 piece plus wings. we did not enjoy out food i will not order from them again.

I ordered my food today from pepes using just eat my food was not delivered to me and was stolen by the driver.I had called pepes and demanded for another driver but they refused and insisted for my to do it on the website and the website is not reliable with refunds.the pepes worker told me to come to the shop to get the food I came in and they refused to give me my food.HORRIBLE PLACE DO NOT GO.I spent a good £23 on food I did not eat if I don’t get my refund I will be back at that shop!!!!

Driver was rude and didn’t deliver to my house. Called me to say he couldn’t find the house and I directed him. The staff member Abdulalem and abdulraheem: is very good, his customer service is amazing, he is polite and helpful to customers and recommends food to new customers! The food is very nice, the chicken is freshly made, nice and tender. Me and the missus go to Pepe's twice a week after the gym because of the staff mentioned above, amazing customer service. DELICIOUS!!!!!!

The food was amazing as usual with lots of chicken and sauce and loads of chips too. The Delivery Driver was great delivering my food in the pouring rain so that I didn't have to go out.... :-)

Would not buy from here . My neice a regular customer ordered a chicken burger on Christmas Eve 24/12/23 and on Christmas Day she woke up With food poisoning. Which is so bad she missed Christmas due to being laid up in bed being sick and severe diohrea. It’s the 27 th and she’s still Sick . Contacted the shop And all the offered was the same food but free of charge? Disgusting. As if she’s gonna want that again ., ridiculous

Shocking food, over cooked flavourless

Absolutely terrible, compared to the Pepe’s on north Watford it is completely different, portion size of chips is tiny. The chicken is awful has no sauce on it and just tastes horrible and cold. Can’t get over how awful this is

The lady at the checkout today was very arrogant and rude. I understand how to work from there, but I don't want to feel uncomfortable when I go in. It was the first and last time I shopped here. The quality of the food is also below criticism.

Food poisoning 3 hour wait time

The food in Pepe’s is delicious. The service was great. The food was served hot and yummy and the staff at the tills were really nice I would definitely go again and highly recommend. On the other hand, it was a really clean environment.

My favourite go-to place to eat. The quality of the food is impeccable as always and the service is amazing! I cannot recommend it enough

Had a meal in pepes woodgreen and have to say that customer service is very bad the asian lady on the tills is so rude and has bad attitude towards the customer. Serves badly she is very ignorant. And it is not the first time. she did the samething the other day i thought she must be having a bad day like others but no i was wrong. This kind of people shouldn’t be kept at front on tills or at customer service I didn’t like it at all she needs to learn how to behave or have some manners. Ver very bad manager or someone should have to talk to her.

Chicken piece found in my veggie meal.

Firstly, the platter is packed in such a way that the bag is dripping wet and a mess and also the order is missing various items and when you call, the lack of any ownership is awful. They just say deal with just eat. Not a way you should conduct business. Have some pride in what you do.

Uber eats delivery driver not follow clear instructions. Attempted to deliver to my neighbour instead of ringing me and walking to middle gate.

The food is ok but very bad customer service they just wanna take your money. My phone was stolen from this shop I asked for help but they didn’t even care manager telling me that their camera doesn’t work they supposed to call me for an update never happened. Be very careful when you dine in the thieves are professional and the shop keepers know them but they didn’t give us any warning this place is scam do not go there.

Fantastic delivery and great food.

Order was well presented and delicious but very sad as my hot chicken and rice barely had sauce in it, however 10/10 for the entire meal. I always order from Pepes as they never disappoint me. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I had called the restaurant and they had told me themselves that apparently my food had gone out at 15:10, I live only a 7 minutes drive from the place. The food was insanely delicious, ordered from Pepes multiple times from different family members it’s my favourite, although in my meal I noticed a few odd things in my meal, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely order again soon as it was just a one off I can assure you five starts for the incredible meal. The expected time the order would take was 25-45 minutes. I placed my order at 14:08 and I received it at 15:50. Absolute joke, if you know there is an issue with the number of drivers available, the expected time of delivery should be increased. The 25-45 minutes was false advertising, plain and simple.

Drink was warm! No one likes warm pop. Must be a way to keep the drink cold and food hot at the same time!

The Tender Strip Meal with Lemon & Herb was as good as it always is from Pepe's Piri Pri, High Street, Watford and always go there for this meal and it has not disappointed so far. The food was delivered early by the Delivery Driver and I was really impressed :-)

Delivery 1hr 40min late. Food was cold when it arrived. We had to reheat all food to have warm food. Very disappointed the late delivery plus cold food. We did not enjoy cold food either after reheating.
