O'Neill's in Merton

We received great service and was made to feel welcome by all the staff. Food was fast and tasty. They have a nice little beer garden to. We recommend and I’ll be back soon.

We had an amazing night hear. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Told us about the amazing deals and made recommendations. We sat in the beer garden but was found a table inside promptly when the garden was closing. Ended up staying until closing time when this wasn’t our intention.

Been hear before with friends for drinks but today was in the area for work and came hear for a working lunch. The service was friendly and quick. Although other guests were present at the front of the pub the back was nice and quiet which made it ideal for work. They also have a nice beer garden which I will take advantage of another time.

On Sunday the 11th at 3.45 pm was refused service. Waiter was in a bad mood cause he can't handle the heat of a busy pub , not my fault Was wearing scarf and I have darker skin. This incident has been reported to police.

Visited here with friends for lunch and it was lovely. Very quiet for a Monday afternoon but could not fault the service. Friendly staff who gave us good recommendations and also has a small beer garden where we relaxed after lunch. Would definitely recommend this place and we’ll also be coming back soon.

I came out looking for a nice place to eat with my family and stumbled across o'neills Wimbledon from the minute we walked in the door we was great and seated by such a friendly staff member and enjoyed a lovely meal value for money and amazing Gin selection was very impressed and very covid friendly

Terrible service, did track a trace sat down waited ten mins and actually had to wave at a waiter to come and take my order. Asked advice on the menu waiter that advised me seemed nice and helpfull. I got the brisket and wings it cones with chips and onion rings. I added Mac and cheese. To be fair the food came very fast but they forgot my mac and cheese and what was in front of me was inedible. I ate the chips which where frozen cheap chips but the brisket was sickly, Luke warm and genuinely repulsive. Wings dry and disgusting. Not one memuener if staff asked about my meal and after me not eating it for 20 mins finally someone came to take the plate didn’t even ask why I haven’t eaten it and when I said that was inedible smiled and walked away! Worst experience I have ever had anywhere cheep but the worst

I went to this Irish pub for a drink and I notice they have pizza on the menu and I order a pepperoni pizza. I was surprise!!! The pizza was delicious, really well made and the taste was really great better than some pizzas you buy around in Wimbledon.

Denise was such a great barmaid, makes a wonderful Aperol Spritz! Love the setting, super friendly staff.

I went there on Monday night with a few friends and had the best time. The staff were so friendly and helpful.Have a very good meal an amazing pizza which was recommended by Jemma and the best cocktails would definitely would go there again.

I have been frequenting this place for a long time now and is absolutely brilliant, wether you want food or a social drink. Ozzy, Denise, and Jemma are lovely. My only qualm would be a a Mitchell and butler one, which is they need diet lemonade, being a diabetic it would be a great addition and with the sugar tax I hope this can be done. But fantastic job guys x

Mi primera vez visitando esta cadena de pubs. El servicio era bueno y los precios muy razonables para Londres, pero los aseos de caballeros. . . querido oh querido El secador de manos estaba literalmente colgando de la pared, la bombilla parpadeaba constantemente. . . sentí que de repente estaba en una película de terror y estoy seguro de que no es la experiencia que el gerente de este pub quiere que tengan los clientes.

Mis amigos y yo decidimos buscar un buen pub irlandés cerca del Teatro New Wimbledon. Buscando en línea encontramos a O'neills. Una vez que entras, eres recibido con la gran sensación de que podrías estar de vuelta en la Patria.

Comportamiento espantoso de uno de los miembros del personal aquí en O Niels Wimbledon. Salí con un grupo de amigos ayer por la noche e inmediatamente uno de mis amigos fue seleccionado en el bar y pidió una identificación. Mi amigo mostró su identificación solo para que le dijeran que era "falso" y la señora detrás del bar dijo que confiscaría esta identificación. Pensamos que esto era una broma. Teniendo en cuenta que mis amigos y yo tenemos casi 25 años, la mujer se negó a creer que esta identificación fuera real. Luego me pidió mi identificación y trató de arrebatármela de las manos. Estaba en shock por este comportamiento. Los permisos de conducir que proporcionamos eran nuestros y nunca habíamos tenido un problema como este es el año en que salimos a pubs y bares. La mujer luego dijo que notificaría a la policía de nosotros por esto. Por suerte conseguimos la identificación de mis amigos al final. ¿Es así como tratas a tus clientes? Por suerte, no permitimos que esto arruinara nuestra noche, ya que no quería inclinarme a su nivel y fui a otro bar. Recomiendo que si visitas Wimbledon te mantengas alejado de aquí debido a esta mujer que creo que administra este pub. Es una pena.

After being treated really badly by the Old Frizzle down the road, I was feeling really upset so my friend took me to ONeils where we were greated by the loveliest barman. Served quickly, punters and staff friendly lovely pub

Been training in Wimbledon the last 8 days and eaten out most nights. The food at oneills is probably the worst we had. Good value but tasteless. I went for Fish and Chips. Wouldn't eat here again.

Un grupo de nosotros fuimos a ver la lucha joshua en O'Neill's en Wimbledon el sábado por la noche. Desastre! Falta de seguridad y el personal del bar. Fue un caos absoluto! Aunque estaba lleno hasta los topes, los porteros para permitir la entrada de personas continuó sólo con bebidas y en medio de la fricción y el bar causó entrometimiento con hasta 45 minutos de espera para conseguir sirve! Si un incendio había estallado allí habría sido un montón de gente atrapado! Los baños estaban en un estado terrible. Nunca volveré allí de nuevo.

Esta fue nuestra experiencia para comer pescado y patatas fritas en un pub de Londres. El personal era muy servicial y agradable. Comimos pescado y patatas fritas, hamburguesa y calamares. La comida era promedio.

i attended this pub on a sunday with friends and was instantly happy.in an area where they want to for a better word un-pub the pub this is still a great pub.value for money drinks,good music and bar staff who like the banter and offer great service.a credit to the o neills name and I will be returning asap.

Spent a few hours here watching an international Rugby Match preceded by Brunch......good menu, most beers on tap....large projection screen with 2 other large flatscreens.

Fue aquí beber vino blanco. La primera copa que compré era de tamaño y cuesta £3. 85. Mi amigo compró una pareja, y luego compré otro vaso pequeño que cuesta 4 libras. 70. Obviamente no era el mismo vino, ya que era un terreno más dulce. Para ser justos fue agradable vino, pero lo es, no pide una mejora. Estoy en un presupuesto. Tal vez se habían quedado fuera de la botella más barato, pero luego es educado para preguntar si me importa tener una marca más cara. Si no estoy seguro de que o vino está siendo ebrios, pregunte al cliente. .

Buen ambiente, lugar agradable para alojarse, pero con amigos. Si puedo sugerir una cosa, jueves no poner siempre la misma música.

Good for drinks on a Saturday night. the food is pretty good and not too expensive. don't come on a game day though as its packed.

There are several bars and restaurants on this road and we were looking for a place to have a drink before going to the theatre. It was crowded, sport was playing on big TVs , groups of friends were having loud conversations and it was fun. We just a drink but plenty of customers were having food too.

Went yesterday to this pub arrived around 2.30 pm. Only one other group in the pub. Nice and clean only one person working. Very friendly ordered food and drink young man very polite. Not very noisy while we were waiting for our food. Several young people came in but it was a great buzz.

El pub gran Broadway en Wimbledon. Una buena selección de bebidas, no muy limpio. La mesa estaba pegajosa. . . .

Es la segunda vez que nos habíamos parado por una comida rápida antes de ir al teatro a lo largo del camino. El menú es variado, obviamente hay un montón de comida a la parrilla y fritas pero hay algo para todo el mundo, y mi amigo dijo que el mac y queso era bastante buena. He cometido un error al pedir un plato de carne frita. Prefiero mi filetes de tamaño, pero a menos que esté en un restaurante de carnes, siempre orden raro porque son invariablemente exageradas. Por desgracia, la carne estaba en la parte seca pero con tres compañeros y un plazo, no apetece enviar. Tengo que decir que los demás platos ordenados estaban bien y que en mi visita anterior, me pareció que mi hamburguesa era muy buena. También la cócteles altamente su 'bien Princesa una mezcla de frambuesa y vainilla con zumo de arándano y vodka limonada bajar toboganes muy bien y estaba en un 2 por 1 oferta mientras estuvimos allí. Es una pena que estábamos demasiado lleno para disfrutar de un aspecto delicioso "loca".

Promedio de comida de pub. Sándwiches son un poco seca pero la bebida es perfecto. No loco lleno y agradable en un sábado por la tarde con el fútbol mostrando.

Called in here on Saturday evening and wow what a great place. I'd walked past a few times but never gone in, but we had a great night.Was with a few friends just for a few beers but ended up having food and staying most of the evening. Great atmosphere and had by all. Sport on for who wants it, loads of lively banter, and great attentive staff behind the bar. Special mention to Peter (cutie) who served us a few times loads of fun and a credit to the place.Food was great and reasonably priced.Gonna be back next sat guaranteed.Well done o'neils! I popped in here Friday 2nd Dec for a quick beer with some friends with the intention of moving on to another bar but ended up staying most of the night. The bar staff were friendly, I was served quickly and there was a good atmosphere in the place. They had a band on called Fantastic Elastic, who I saw a few years ago in Twickenham and were another contributing factor for us staying most of the evening. They certainly got the majority of the pub dancing along and having fun - a must see.When they finished a DJ came on so we stayed for a bit longer eventually leaving just after 1am. Our visit was suppose to be a short pit stop and I'm glad it didn't turn out that way because we had loads of fun and will be returning in the New Year.

Came here today with the intention of having some lunch and catching up on Sport I'd missed yesterday streaming on my phone. That was impossible due to the really bad WiFi, so my whole meal ruined! There was three or four tables with dirty plates all over it so could not get my choice of table either.

We visited O’Neill’s for a drink on our penultimate day in London. We had a Jaeger Bomb & a Sex on the Beach (they did not have a Mojito which I wanted originally). We did self-service. The bar looked a little shady from the outside but was fine inside.

I was in Wimbledon looking for a good pint of Guinness, O'Neill's seemed like the place to go. Perhaps it was a bad night as England were playing football. But by 9.30pm there were customers who were clearly not just inebriated but staggering around and falling over and a management who allowed this to happen and seemed unable/unwilling to sort the problem out which clearly embarrassed other customers and at least one female member of the staff. I thought this may have been a one off but I went back the next night and not much had changed and after one beer I left. The Guinness was good but a similar pint is cheaper and just as good across the road. I cannot vouch for the food but if you want to avoid drunken loutish behavior then avoid this bar.

We normally visit O'Neil's for lunch at least once every couple of months as a family. The menu consists of your normal dishes you'd find in a pub. The prices are very reasonable and the dishes will fill you up!

Great quiet drink here after a awful experience from a nearby pub in the area we seeked a more civilised bar and this is what we got here,fantastic service and great atmosphere !

As others have commented, the service is poor. Staff quite unfriendly, and on 2 separate occasions when I have ordered food one meal always comes out an age after the rest. Step up from whetherspoons at least, and I guess you can't expect much for the cheap prices. Ok to go when you're stuck for ideas and feeling lazy.

Took my daughter for breakfast as we have been happy with other OneilsVery disappointed burnt sausages and toast coffee unpleasant to say the least...long walk up grimy stairs to the ladies...couldn't reach chain to flush...will not be going there again will not be recommending to friends. .

This is a great pub to go to for either just drinks or drinks and food. The food is always well cooked and very tasty. Have never had a bad experience here, and the staff are always really friendly, which I think helps makes it a nice place to go.

I know I ordered an All day breckfast late today, but thats surly no excuse for getting burnt to a crisp Sausages, if you can't supply quality all day then take it off the menu!

Popped in yesterday with two other people at lunchtime and was frightfully disgusted with the service of both the pregnant lady behind the bar and the other one who spoke very bad English, very abrupt and rude, the food was awful, over cooked prawns, mayonnaise and sweet chilli dip plonked together not how it was described on the menu, chips we're under cooked, the place needs to find the happy medium.When I asked to change the dish instead of apologizing for the customers dismay she made a point of asking for the debit card used to pay for it......like HUH!!!!Then very helpful with non complaining customers but when we asked for help she proceeded to dramatize her pregnancy (holding her back) as though we asked her to carry 5 heavy boxes.Very hard to get the service in which you pay for nowadays, we must be the only place in Europe that boasts of extremely poor service.First and Last time in there!!

Very poor customer service today 28.10.15 from a girl wearing glasses, decided to wait on a table half way through me ordering my food. No please or thank you, told me cutelry was over there after bringing the food over instead of bringing them the table.

A mouse ran across the floor... In fact there could have been more than one, unless the mouse was really quick! The barman laughed and said it was the pub pet. Eat here at your peril......Luckily we were not eating.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. We had a couple of rounds of drinks after a long day at work. The pub was quiet but he staff and he few customers in this early had a great vibe and some good banter going on. Service was quick, efficient, pint well poured and it didn't break the bank. Unfortunately can't rate the food as didn't eat here.Will us again when in the area and would definitely recommend to others.

We chose O'Neills as it a well known chain. We went in there on a Sunday at 6pm, we ordered drinks and sat and perused the menu. My husband went up to order and he was told his first choice was unavailable, not a problem he had his second choice. After at least 30 mins my food was presented at the table and my husband was told that his meal had been rejected by the chef as it was overdone and that it was the last portion of that particular food. because we were both so hungry he ordered what he expected to be the quickest thing on the menu a burger. That left me to eat my meal by myself, I had ordered a gammon. The egg was so over cooked it was crusty and instead of chips they served curly fries. If I hadn't been so hungry I would have sent it back. When my husbands burger finally arrived, it was also served with curly fries and the chicken was dry and the salad! 2 slices of tomato and a lettuce leaf. The waitress had the chance to offer us a free drink or to take something off the bill but both times when she asked if we wanted a drink she failed to say on the house. We wouldn't have taken it but we may have felt better about our experience. All in all if you offer a food service to 10pm you have to have someone competent to cook the food not a waitress who can cook if needed, if that was a trained chef then he needs to be retrained!

Probably the last time I come here now, I've been eating here for a couple of years, I found they did the best pub type food in Wimbledon. They've dropped there standards dramatically in that time, today the bar man didn't understand what a mixed grill was due to his poor gasp of English and I had to point this out to him on the menu.They've stopped putting en egg on there mixed grill and the chicken and mushroom were swimming in fat! The three sausages were all quite clearly warm ups also.

There's a good selection of drinks which are good value for money. The food menu is pretty much what you'd expect, but is always served at the appropriate temperature and fairly quickly. The staff are always friendly, polite and professional, but Francesca is always great. It's a fantastic pub to chill out in, but has some great live music nights too.

Always come here for breakfasts as they tend to do the best in the area. Really going down hill recently though with burnt/warmed up sausages. They don't look like they put any effort in at all, might consider going else where.

My all time fave bar in Wimbledon. Friendly staff, great live music on weekends and a great atmosphere. Plus its open till 2am on the weekend!

I have submitted quite a few reviews to TripAdvisor and this is the first time I have felt the need to complain. Myself and my three cousins visited this establishment prior to attending Wimbledon Theatre on Friday night. We arrived, seated ourselves and ordered drinks. We then decided to order food. It is an irish pub so the cuisine reflected that. My two cousins ordered their food and within a minute myself and my other cousin had ordered also. I should like to add that you pay for your meals as you order.We ordered meat ball linguini, sausages and colcannon, chicken caesar salad and lamb shoulder. My linguini should have had irish meatballs in tomato and garlic sauce, I actually had half a dozen marball sized, inedible, incinerated balls plonked around hard linguini with what appeared to be chopped tinned tomatoes on the linguini, there was no sign of the cheese shavings. The colcannon was also inedible and nothing like proper irish colcannon, ( my cousin has an irish husband.). This dish had a small piece of chicken stuck to one of the sausages, leading me to believe it was an amalgam of dishes. The lamb shoulder was so small and mostly bone. The chicken caesar salad is a dish which would be difficult to mess up and was not too bad. My last complaint was the time I waited for my dish. Bearing in mind these orders were given one after the other. Two meals were served, after an acceptable wait, however we had an extra half hour wait for the other two.I would have complained in the restaurant but as we were going to the theatre and time was short I did not want to have to wait again.I would not use this restaurant again and definitely do not recommend it. In fact it has put me off the O'Neill chain.

I saw this as just a pub, somewhere to get lathered with some friends last Saturday night during one of my rare visits to London.We had a good time, service was reasonable and it wasn't too dear. I guess I'd go again if we were in the area.By the way, the map reference is completely wrong. Ignore. It's the same for loads of the places in Wimbledon, they seem to have put them all in Mill Hill on the map.
