The best restaurants in Lewisham London

went in there last night withe my daughter and son in law after it was recommended by someone ld already eaten which turned out to be a blessing they had lamb chops with chips and some chicken wings on the side which were straight out of the microwave which you could hear pinging as there were no other diners in there and for some reason the chips were piping in the middle and cold on the outside my son in law told im presuming he was the owner that it was the worst turkish restaurant hed ever been in. and that how can you be happy serving up that to people no apology and not even a gesture of taking something off the seventy pound bill would give this place the widest of births and now we know why it was empty and not the piss poor excuse given that it was all covids fault. i had covid and it was more of a pleasent experience than this place.

This was my first time ordering from here, and sadly it’ll be my last. The fish was a good size for the price, although the batter was soggy and drenched in grease. £4 for a small portion of chips, and they totally looked re-fried. They were deep brown (as opposed to golden), dried out and really only fit for the bin. Gutted as this isn’t too far from me, and I had more hope for it.

Un pub tradicional excelentemente dirigido. Excelentes asados de domingo y fantástica selección de ginebras y cervezas. Muy buen servicio de un equipo feliz y motivado. Este es un lugar ideal para familias para almuerzos de domingo.

We were bored with Indian and Chinese takeaway and had always fancied giving Donde a try. We loved the personal nature of the owner who dealt with out order. It was quick, kind and we even got a great deal with a bottle of wine thrown in. The food had great variety, including favourites like albondigas and chorizo. If you are veggie or vegan there is a good range and for an all round clean takeaway, this is a decent local bet.

Pensamos en darle una oportunidad al pub, ya que está al lado de la estación, así que perfecto para una parada en boxes antes de llegar en tren a casa. Es precioso por dentro y el menú se veía muy bien. Estábamos en el mercado de la comida hoy, pero sin duda volveremos para probar el almuerzo del domingo!

Grandes cervezas, gran servicio, me encantó las cenas asadas. Gran pub familiar! ¡Pruébalo! Excelente personal y un gran ambiente.

I stumbled across this little gem by pure accident. Such a warm, friendly place, all accepting. The Cortado (Piccolo) was amazing and the food I saw looked and sounded wonderful. Next time you are in the area, pop in, you won’t be disappointed .

The pub itself is lovely, unfortunately our overall experience was somewhat ruined by an older lady working behind the bar that was very rude.

Es un lugar agradable, pero deben limpiar las mesas ya que son extremadamente pegajosas. Hemos estado allí varias veces pero la limpieza de las mesas nos está dejando un poco fuera

Gran ubicación por la estación de deptford y el restaurante tenía un gran interior y cálido. vibras. me encantó la música que simplemente hizo la experiencia aún mejor. El personal comió increíble y hace eficiente y amable. El cóctel delicioso y fuerte definitivamente conocen los rones allí. Croquetas de cola de buey tiernas y tiene patada, buñuelos de pescado salado ligeros y sabrosos con salsa de piña. Tenía cordero asado y plato era enorme incluyendo arroz n guisantes, verduras , patatas asadas encantador y crujiente y vegetariano enorme Yorkshire pudín, probablemente necesitaba condimento adicional para los que les gustan sus especias. Definitivamente volver

We had the seafood pancake, the crispy chicken, the thebokki and the dumplings and shared between the two of us. Oh dear where do I start? We were greeted by the miserable waitress who could not be bothered smile all evening. The dumpling were all right but not very flavourful. The thebokki lol were in a sauce which also did not have any glavour or depth whatsoever.. It was just hot. We can totally do hot. But hot and bland does not make any sense! The crispy chicken was the soggy chicken: no crispy bits in sight! And finally the seafood pancake was raw in the middle and claggy. When main dishes are £11.50 in a dingy area, then you get bad food... then you go to the bathroom which looks like it has not been cleaned since before covid... Jeez we were massively disappointed

Great for a healthy food. Just one criticism is they don't use gloves and they touch the till and then touch the food, specifically the prawns. At no point did I see them wash their hands before, after or between. This is a big no no hence only 3 stars.

La comida era lo suficientemente decente, pero el ambiente era cero. El camarero se preocupaba más por las órdenes de entrega que por los comensales, por lo que era difícil llamar su atención, a pesar de que el restaurante no estaba tan ocupado. No podía tomar el cóctel bellini que quería y me dijeron sin rodeos que no había melocotones. De unos siete artículos en el menú de postres, solo uno estaba disponible. ¡Y la música era atroz!

Had roast,. Nice atmosphere and plenty of space. Food a little underwhelming and bland. Would go back for drinks only.

Bonita ubicación y una maravillosa exhibición de pegatinas, pero decepcionado de ser servido un rollo de canela rancio acompañado de un pedazo de pan de plátano rancio esta mañana. Por favor, no vendas pasteles horneados del día anterior.
