Lovely cafe in surbiton! Stopped here for a coffee and a sweet treat. Friendly staff, it was a little cramped when it got busy though, but still great

Cute little setup inside, friendly staff and delicious food. We went for the crispy salmon sushi which was delicious and a meal in itself. Definitely underestimated the portion sizes. The sushi was lovely and fresh and full of flavour. The chicken yakisoba was again lovely, well presented and very filling. I think if we went back we'd just have the sushi as it was definitely the best sushi we've had.

A lovely like at home cafe, where the service is friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere can be compared to visiting family. I ordered the pork Sunday roast, which came with no less than 9 types of veg cooked with love and a side of cauliflower cheese too. The Yorkshire pudding, that's offered with all roasts not just beef was huge, and a perfect mix of soft and crispy. Your gravy comes on the side full to the brim so you can pour as little or much as you like. It's simplicity at its best, cooking a roast is more about timing and less about processes. I'll definitely be coming back. They also service alcohol and are very generous with their pouring.

We had an absolutely fantastic evening last night. We picked the upstairs seating area which was lovely. The Tasting Menu was just heaven in your mouth. Such delicious food all cooked to an absolute perfection. I've added some photos of the mouthwatering delights as we made our way through the menu. What was also a nice surprise was the amuse-bouche at the very start and a wonderful full-flavoured palate cleansing sorbet. We found it very warm and friendly, and our professional waitress was 'the best'. Every course was explained, as was the wine as we opted for the wine pairing. My sincere thanks the the team at TFT for superb food and a memorable evening. We both look forward to going back again soon.

A lovely little place tucked away by Surbiton station with a vast array of vegatarian options and a cosy, friendly feel. I had Foul-bil-Laban and a mint tea, both of which arrived quickly. My meal was not only delicious, super flavourful and fresh tasting, but a very generous portion! Definitely recommend, whether for a lunch or just a coffee break, as their drinks and dessert menus were also quite extensive and tasty looking.

We booked a table for dinner online and checked by phone that we were in the restaurant and not downstairs. We arrived and were told that our table would be ready in about 10 minutes so we were shown downstairs to wait. Apart from being served drinks - but had to remind someone about the water we had asked for - we were ignored. About 15 minutes after we were sent downstairs we asked a waitress when our table would be ready and again were told 10 minutes. We waited another 15/20 minutes we got up and left. There was no sign of a free table upstairs or of one becoming available. During the time we were downstairs apart from our drinks order we were totally ignored.

First time at this lovely friendly cafe. It was busy when we arrived for brunch with a toddler and new born in a pram but we were quickly helped to the garden and given a great table. Staff were so helpful to make sure we were comfortable and orders were taken quickly. The menu offers great options for meat eaters, veggies and vegans alike as well as options for little ones. Food and drinks when they arrived were really good quality and value. (A little wait but they were v busy). Can’t believe it’s taken us so long to find this little gem. No wonder it was full. We will definitely be back.

I am here weekly and on the whole I enjoy my visits. There is a lovely atmosphere, the service is good and the tea is nice. I sometimes order a croissant, and the last 2 out of 3 times it has been dry, as if at the end of its life. Would be great if the staff could be more aware of this and remove items once they are past their best, as they are not cheap.

Worst place I have ever been to, the owner is running a food and beverage service and does not even know what the meaning of hospitality is. You cannot force someone to buy drinks right? This guy literally told us that you are 5 people and everyone of you will have to buy one drink each otherwise you can leave. We live 5 minutes away from this place and went there to make it a regular hangout place. The way he behaved, he lost some genuine customers today. Giving us absolutely random shit that he needs to make money when a customer comes to his shop. Don’t bother wasting your time by visiting this place.
