I've ordered from this store on several occasions via uber eats. I have previously ordered the item listed "fish and chips" on their menu which has been a normal portion of fish and chips. Today I selected "oder again" on my usual order and was given two children's portions. I ended up placing another order at another fish and chip shop due to the small portion size. I was very disappointed with this order and won't be ordering from here again.

When you go to a place that claims to be Gluten Free because a member of your party has an illness associated with gluten, you wish to feel assured by the establishment that is serving you that they have the required knowledge and then the skill to put those claims into practice - we ordered a meal for 4 persons after making enquiries with the staff and then on making further enquiries as to their processes, we did not feel assured or validated in our concern for our family member and were just told ‘it’s all fine’ - we ended up giving dinner away to member of the public at the pub across the street. If you claim to be Gluten Free, you need to do better for people that have an actual illness as compared to those who wish to make a lifestyle choice

It was a joyful experience. The staff are really friendly and talkative. The fish was freshly fried and it was exactly what I was hoping to get. Chips were great too. They are not shy with portions either! I will definitely be coming again.

Ordered online and when it arrived I was shocked that it had even made it out of the shop - I would be embarrassed to serve it.. The fish looked like it had been cooked in dirty oil, it was greasy and it appeared burnt and overcooked. My battered sausage may of well been a plain sausage..bon the upside the chops were nice but I definitely will not be ordering from here again.

I am not concerned about the order being later than anticipated. However, it is annoying that a number of orders were delivered prior to our order delaying delivery and meaning the food was not in top condition. This is a high price for fish and chips.

This must be one of the best fish and chips restaurant in the Surbiton/Kingston area. The fish is cooked to perfection (can specify with batter or unbattered) and the chips are nice and chunky. You have to give it a try- if you can get past the queues! Booking highly recommended on Fridays and weekends.

This is an old style fish and hips shop with a restaurant. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is consistently high quality. The fish is cooked to order so there may be a delay, it's also popular so expect queues and lot's of collections. Recommended

Not visited for over a year - but same good, non-greasy fish & chips I remember. They did initially take my order wrong, but corrected it. The batterless haddock is 5🌟

After eating a few chips I found a coarse black hair, much like beard hair. Had to throw the portion away. I was on my way to work and could not go back, but took a photo. When I went back a few days later they brushed it off and apologised and told me it’s because they have so many people working behind the counter and that it’s the first time they’ve heard of that and I should bring them straight back next time. In response to the restaurants reply…I have added a photo of your place to show exactly where I purchased these chips. This matches your photos and address online..so I am not mixing up anything up here.

I do not buy chips here for myself because they simply do not taste like potato, there is infact no flavour to them and they are often too hard. The only thing I buy for myself are pies or fish which have been off in the past but exchanged without question so no qualms usually on the service. However, tonight, after being reprimanded for requesting separate wrapping at the wrong time on a Friday night just doesnt cut it. I felt it was rude and embarrassing to be spoken to like that and wished I had spoken up at the time, so from regret I am now writing this review. I had put up with bad food from here for too long just because the service is usually friendly, and now without that, I will now never go back there again.

I wanted to call you and complain about my order,I am you regular customer kind off and this is a first time that I am really disappointed, I ordered large potato chips (which I am always do) but this time there were very soggy and the portin in bag was very very very small and berly could share .Definitely I will order again from you and I hope that was some kind one off incident. If you look I always gave you a 5 stars ,but this time was really really disappointing 😞

I'll start by saying I teetered between 2 & 3 stars on this place, but the people there are friendly so will lean on the generous side. Nothing is inherently 'bad' with this place but then nothing about it is great either. The good - the portion sizes are pretty reasonable in fairness, and as mentioned, the staff very happy to help and serve. The not so good - the chips, and even more so the fish are, for want of a better word, decidedly average. You're left with a feeling of 'well that was that then' once finishing a portion, neither content nor discontent. Bland and of not great texture if I were to be brutal about things. All of which could be forgiven if it weren't for the fact that, if we're all being honest, the place is overpriced. Not sea-sure I'll be returning

I don't usually write reviews after I visit a certain place for the first time, but these guys deserve it. We just moved to the area, checked a bit reviews online, and this place seems to have been rated well. We were not dissapointed. Every single thing they could do well, they did it well. Food was great, they asked what I liked, so I removed the salad and had chips with my batterless haddock, and they even offered to include peas even though peas don't come with that (as per the menu)! Nothing was a problem. So I basically had a "modified" batterless haddock to my liking, for the same price. All the staff that were there had a big smile upon arrival and when leaving. There's just a good atmosphere in the place, you can sense it when you walk in. I will be going back there for sure! Well done guys, truly great service.

Food was OK, BUT the staff is kind of rude and be prepared if you want to sit, because you'll have to pay 35% extra for your bill and they will charge extra even for ketchup. Not worth it.

So, my regular GoTo for Gluten Free Fish and Chips had run out of Gluten Free Batter, but I remembered seeing a sign in the window of Seashore, so I popped in there. I must say their Gluten Free Batter is some of the best I have had. Chips were excellent as well. Good sized portions here and you can tell that they use quality fish and quality potatoes. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome, even for just takeaway. I did see some plates being sent out to diners in the restaurant area and they looked tremendous value and well presented. Top marks from me.

Ordered two items, only received one. The most basic aspect of a restaurant is to provide the customer with what they ordered. How on Earth are you missing half the items? Do better next time.
