Fee-ka in Kingston upon Thames

Nice little cafe inside Surbiton station, we went in to grab a coffee early morning. The pastries looked delectable but we were too full to eat anything! 😁 Service was good, the lady behind the counter was very sweet.

Just awful today 14th Dec 2023 09.30am cappuccino was all milk foam. Not good for £3 a small cup of foam. One more thing you do not except Cash BAD DECISION!!!

Cappuccino was great, punchy frothy how it should be and it kick started my day, a vast improvement to the sorry looking latte masquerading as a cappuccino I was constantly served at the Nero on platform 1. The two ladies serving were also very welcoming and attentive .

Always friendly and excellent service. I went in today to buy a bun, and the nice guy told me to try it first and if I wasn't happy I could have it for free, as they were baked 6 hours before. It was delicious, so no problem anyway. A really nice touch and wonderful customer service!

I came on Saturday 21st of October for a coffee and the young man who was serving was lovely. Really knowledgeable on the rugby and chatty. Plus lovely coffee. Hope he is appreciated :)

Walked in, said hello. A girl sitting behind the till with a laptop on her lap, leaning bent knees on the counter. Totally ignored me, except for a murmur. Waited for a minute, never looked up, so I walked straight out. What a joke! As cold as Sweden :)

The pleasant people served me a really good espresso and a passable croissant. The cafe is tiny but you can see what you are getting before any commitment and so I sat at a bar stool and enjoyed people watching. The ambience is quite pleasant and the customers seem happy enough. At £4.20, it is 18% cheaper than Pret and 100% better, or more. I will be supporting independent cafes (meaning only 1 or two properties in the business) like this one in future. I wrote this the day after my visit, prompted by a visit to Pret in Kingston, OMG what a difference!

Been twice and the coffee tastes good but was over-hot both times. Service on the slow side. Smells amazing as you walk past though.

Tiny little place with bar & stools inside plus a couple of outside tables. Very nice coffee and delicious cinnamon buns. Other cakes available. Great for takeaway or eat in whilst waiting for your train.

I visited this place for the first time yesterday with my wife. We are Brits originally from London but now live in Calgary 🇨🇦 It was such a surprise to realise the young lady who served us was from Calgary too and she was wonderful. Great service, great coffee will definitely visit again when next in the area.

Used to be a 5* but seems like i just got lucky the first time. If i wanted to burn my tongue, id go to Mcdonalds. Thinking about it, i probably should of..could of got a Mcflurry to balance it out. TRAIN YOUR STAFF. People pay a premium for your coffee because they want a some sort of guarantee of quality.

First visit (two starts) - Would much prefer to support a small local shop if the coffee is good. Unfortunately the flat white was too hot which resulted in in being undrinkable for some time, it also gave it a burnt taste. Maybe it was an off day for the barista? But it wasn’t good. It hurts me to say this but the McDonald’s flat white down the street much much better... maybe I’ll try again to give one more chance Second visit (four stars) - new barista this morning (young man with glasses and long hair). The coffee was much better and was not burnt. I did not take them up on the free coffee, although I do appreciate it, but I am happy to report that the coffee was much better this time.

Located in the front of Surbiton rail station. I recommend a coffee or tea and one of their Swedish cinnamon buns. I thought it was very tasty and the service was polite as well. 👍🏾

The BEST coffee in Surbiton. I would even say it's one of the best places for coffee in London and I have tried a lot of coffee! It's consistently good too which is a good thing considering I have served by a few different people, milk not burnt, not too hot etc. The cinnamon buns are really good and I like how they have a good range of Swedish delicacies - not that I have tried many of them as I keep on going back for those damn cinnamon buns....

Either they haven't bothered having a correct opening hours sign in the window (there's a Mail Boxes Etc. 5 minutes down the street that will print a sign), or they just didn't want to let me in. Either way, the employee inside just stared at me and turned their back. Unnecessarily rude.

Best coconut latte around and cinnamon buns around! Speedy service and super friendly staff conveniently next to Surbiton station.

I had a really tasty coffee here this afternoon. I didn’t have anything to eat, but the coffee was brilliant. The barista was very chatty and friendly which is always nice.

Best coffee in Surbiton, my morning go-to. Super quick service - which is great before boarding a train- and friendly staff. A bit expensive (especially if you get oat milk etc.) but works out better if you use their loyalty card. The cinnamon buns are a must to try.

Hot beverages at reasonable prices from a really nice and sweet owner! The cinnamon rolls are a must try, warm, fresh and topped with sprinkles.

THE best coffee in Surbiton and really quick professional service too, better than pressroom and surbeanton but is not a sit down place as it is in station inside. Will be back!!

The coffee is great the rolls sublime and if you go at a certain time you get adeal if you have the Swedish bun and coffee , There are only a few stools so it is not a lingering spot, I am thinking commuters would like to grab a coffee and go.

Very handy for Surbiton station, friendly coffee bar with great coffee and a good range of healthy smoothies. Lucky that when I last went the delicious cinammon buns were just coming out of the oven - heavenly. Also impressed that their takeaway cups are biodegradable so you can dispose of them in your compost bin, a thoughtful advantage amongst many coffee outlets in Surbiton.

I work locally in Surbiton and it was convenient location for me as well as reasonable prices!

Its not just the coffee that is great at Fee-ka. The cinnamon buns are fresh and delicious and sometimes have offers on them when you buy a drink. Fresh orange juice is squeezed in order so much fresher than elsewhere, also have smoothies available.

If you are grabbing a coffee avoid the chains and stop off here. Have a great selection of drinks and pastries and offers on these. Have the breakfast classics but also some of the traditional Swedish pastries too. Is a small seating area but only for 4-5 people and is outdoor seating but you are at a train station so no rolling hill views.

When the old pasty shop in Surbiton station finally reopened after a year as a Swedish cafe, I was a bit unsure. This is a town with - it sometimes seems - more cafes than people. But Fee-ka is different, and although it isn't cheap it's good. The food, including the typical cinnamon buns and Swedish pastries, is very good. It's open from the time the early trains pull in to the station, and is a good alternative to the frantic and sometimes chaotic scenes in the cramped cafe on platform 1, where - in winter - there's such a scrum of people trying to stay warm that it's often difficult to reach the serving counter. Fee-ka is small - very small. But there's a nice counter in the curved seating area inside and a useful roped-off space outside where the taxis gather, to sit in when the weather allows. I'm surprised to hear myself say it, as Surbiton is awash with cafes. But this is a useful addition to the rota.

When they get it right it's very nice but this morning I paid a fortune for the wrong milk (gave me dairy not oat) a double shot - this is definitely a single. Annoyed as I specifically asked for a double and when it's this expensive you just want them to get it right. Only realised on my train. Update- I went back today and the same thing happened!!! But the people who were working there today we're very sweet and it's not their fault that my first sip of coffee is always when I'm on my train so I can't let them know. Also this coffee was much cheaper than last time so am not as annoyed.

Got a takeaway breakfast of Swedish cinnamon bun and a Latte. Omg!!!! Really really good cinnamon bun. Having spent a lot of time in Stockholm, these are as good at the real thing. Thanks for an amazing breakfast!

Really cute little café tucked inside Surbiton station, its quality is higher than the nearby Caffe Nero. The pastries look delectable and the coffee tastes great. They even offer matcha lattes! Service was fantastic. After I'd been served, several people came in and requested specific drinks which the barista delivered efficiently; when asked about the coffee, he was able to answer everyone's questions.

Was very excited to see this. I visit Sweden a lot and love having Fika (a drink and a sweet treat). They serve traditional Swedish buns and cakes and lovely coffee. For those who have not experienced Fika in Sweden give this friendly place a try.
