Great front & back garden, lovely staff, awesome food, no reason not to love.

We had our very most favourite Sunday lunch here. The Felix’ fish pie was incredible and cooked by the man himself and the beef roast was top notch and perfectly cooked. Service by Holly was impeccable. We will certainly be going back.

I am very local to this pub so pass it almost every day, this means that I have also dined in it many a time, or just popped in for a quick drink🍻.Nevertheless, the quality and service of the staff is always exceptional. Being so local, I haven’t actually stayed in any of the rooms but visiting friends have and they had only good feedback. Also, as the cherry on top, they have an adorable cat named Fin who you may bump into if you visit.🥹

Nice hotel with lovely staff and good food but the bed was super uncomfortable (two singles pushed together to make a double) and the mattresses were not properly sprung so I ended up with backache!

We were in the area and decided to drop by this pub for late lunch. Location was great and pub looks nice for couples / groups. Not sure if it was late lunch, our food took 30mins to come out even though it was pretty quiet in the pub. We ordered a pie + mash and fish pie, which was alright. I have to say there's more mash than fish in my fish pie, which was abit disappointing. I would probably go back for drinks only but not the food, there are better options in the area.

We passed a lovely week here. Staff was exceptional; responsive to any issue or need. 10-15 minutes walk to train, restaurants & shopping. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this establishment for a few weeks and was thoroughly impressed with the accommodations and amenities. The outdoor seating area, complete with tables and chairs, is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the summer weather or dine al fresco when the weather permits. The interior of the hotel is tastefully decorated with artwork adorning the walls, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, there is a charming back garden with private cubicles, perfect for romantic dinners, as well as an elongated space on the side that can accommodate group parties. The bar is well-organized, with an impressive selection of beverages neatly arranged. While the restrooms were clean, the addition of air fresheners would enhance the overall experience. The room I occupied featured a private bathroom, as well as a coffee kettle and coffee maker for my convenience. Although the bed was comfortable, there is room for improvement. I must commend the exceptional customer service provided by the staff, particularly Lara, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The establishment skillfully blends vintage and modern design elements, creating a unique and visually appealing ambiance. Lara, in particular, demonstrated exceptional hospitality and professionalism throughout my stay. Definetely recommended.

The place is pleasant and a very nice beer garden and a lot of locals but very welcoming. Didn't stay in any of the rooms so cannot comment.

This is a lovely place to stay. As frequent travellers myself and my husband really appreciated the extra attention to detail. Fresh milk in the fridge, also a complimentary Prosecco and beer, luxury toiletries, great coffee and a super comfortable bed. Also lots of plug sockets! It’s a short walk from Kingston station and near the Thames too. The staff were friendly and helpful

Had an absolutely lovely Sunday there last week watching the England game. Superb roast, and the service was faultless. A really family friendly atmosphere for the match. Dog-friendly too. Guarantee you will be impressed if you give the Queens Head a visit for a Euro game or at any other time. Can't guarantee how you'll feel about any England performance though.

I stayed there for a day with my younger brother, and it wasn't anything special, so I was able to stay quietly. Breakfast was also average food. Expressionless employees ㅜㅜ

We had a great stay at The Queens Head, the room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. The staff were friendly and went out of thier way to make our stay great. Eleanor in particular was fantastic and helped us a lot. Great work guys.

Stayed before and didn’t disappoint the second time around. When we checked in there was a mix up on our room but this was quickly sorted and we upgraded to a bigger room. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food (both dinner and breakfast) was excellent. Although a short walk from the train the bus is almost right outside. The whole place just has a nice atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely pub with some great and friendly staff. Unfortunately the manager seems to take on a power trip which has put my friends in a nasty situation numerous times. For example when reserving a table for the World Cup we were turned away and our table was given up despite being on time and appropriate upon arrival. Furthermore management has belittled our friend for having a twitch which is incredibly disappointing as I’d expect a manager of a well established pub to be far more professional. All in all I’ve had enough upsetting experiences with family and friends to be taking my business elsewhere. What was once a lovely pub has been ruined by an entitled manager.

We had dinner tonight, food was excellent, great flavor and hot. Our server was Rose and she was the very best. She was spot on with service and there with any questions and help. Great young lady, she will go a long ways in what ever career she picks.

Really lovely pub with excellent boutique rooms! Staff were superb and great, generous breakfast available- you even get a free beer and prosecco in the mini bar each night! Knocking one star off for the room as although it was lovely, the bathroom lights were flickering and one of the plug sockets was hanging loose from the wall which seemed a bit dangerous. Fix these up and it's 5 stars from me! Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic pub lunch ..Best fishpie I've had

The room was spacious, clean and well furnished, modrrn amenities with some pasttime character. Toiletries provided were of quality, as were the pod coffee, teas and chocolates in the room. There may have been fruit but the delicious chocolates fill my memory. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was worth the price of the room alone - almost! Fabulous and with an extensive choice and everything freshly prepared. I will always stay here when I visit Kingston.

We visited the pub on 13th Jan. The experience was alright, but we got charged twice, the first time the manager said it didn’t go through. But before we left the pub we saw our bank account showing 2 debits. We were told it would auto correct. We’ve called 4 times since (& personally went to the pub to complain again) but unfortunately still haven’t got our money back. I wish someone would take note and actually refund us our money!

We absolutely love it here, service and food is exceptional! I would highly recommend the Queens Head - the staff here are all so lovely, one lady that really stood out in particular was Eleanor, fantastic from start to finish. The most rubbish food I ever tried ,payed 11£ something for a stale dry bread with bit of prawns at the top and one piece of lettuce , the coffee was good but the sandwich Ilea’s rubbish and overpriced.

My family and I stayed at The Queen's over the Christmas holiday and we could not have felt more at home in this charming pub, dinning room and 10-bedroom boutique hotel. The breakfast spread in the morning always set us up for the day ahead with the full English my sons' preferred choice. Eleanor, Anna, Jay, Felix, Holly and Sylvia were such warm, friendly hosts and never skimped on looked after us even during the busy festive period. The team was very flexible in accommodating us and were instrumental in extending our stay when we needed to. May I also add checking in and checking out was a breeze, The Queen's Head team are super-responsive on email, and we provided us with parking for our rental car. All in all, a delightful stay.

A typical place to enjoy English life, very familiar and always caring about the client, very good food and excellent breakfasts, the Small room but very comfortable bed; I will be back soon for sure!!!!!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a 10 minute walk from Kingston station and the town centre. The room was ok but the carpet needs to be updated as it was very old , all en all we enjoyed our stay.

Visited with my friends over the weekend for dinner and drinks. Food was tasty and portion sizes generous .The staff were very friendly and welcoming especially Eleanor who made our visit even more special.

My wife and I stayed at The Queens Head in Kingston recently and it was great! Everything from the staff, to the room, to the food exceeded our exppectations. We would definitely stay here again in the future and highly recommend it!

Went today for a Sunday Roast with the family. Amazing food, HUGE portions and great service along with a lovely ambience. I had the roast chicken, you get a whole leg and breast. Our daughter had the beef and said it was the best meat she’d ever eaten and my husband had the pork, which he demolished without saying a word through his meal. All in all, a lovely afternoon with delicious food

This past weekend we hosted my friends birthday at the queens head and it was amazing! The hospitality of the staff was so welcoming. We did bottomless brunch which was such good value for money and the food was perfect. Anna was extremely friendly and professional. The decor is lovely, would highly recommend for a lunch out. Look forward to visiting soon x

Beware, we had a horrible cave like room on the ground-floor located in the outbuildings. It was very dark, and we couldn't open the blinds for people walking past the window. We booked for two nights but stayed for only one. When we complained we were told we should have asked for a specific room when we booked ! We wouldn't recommend.

What a lovely experience from check in to check out! This place is a little gem! Needed somewhere to stay near a wedding we were going to at Hampton Court. We were really looked after as soon as we arrived. The decor is so cool and the ambiance is spot on. Lovely, helpful staff, amazing breakfast & coffee, cute comfy, spotlessly clean room with lovely touches like artisan choccies, coffee machine/teas/water included in the room rate and AND a mini bottle of fizz and bottle of beer in the mini bar! (Fresh milk in a mini glass bottle too). Lovely shower and toiletries, easy parking, such a comfy bed. Great value for money!

We stayed here for a weekend so we could visit Kew gardens and Hampton Court Palace. Its difficult for me to rate this place because most was great but some not so good. On arriving here we were greeted and checked in by a very friendly young man, he offered to take our bags when he showed us to our rooms. He explained how to work everything like the coffee machine and the great air conditioning which was a god send due to the hot weather. He was very knowledgeable of the area and took the time to talk to us. The breakfasts were delicious and we were served by a young girl on 2 of the morning who she was very pleasant and helpful. On our last morning a young man served our breakfast. The beds were comfortable with lovely crisp clean sheets. The shower was great with plenty hot water and lovely white fluffy towels. Toiletries are shared so I didn't use them. The free mini bar was an added bonus. The room had everything you needed for a short stay (Hair dryer-Iron-Ironing Board and a safe) Now the negatives: No shelf in the bathroom to put anything but we could live with that. Although the inside of the shower was clean the skirting around the shower and bathroom was very dirty with a lot of dust. The carpet was filthy so we kept our shoes on. I dropped a sweet that rolled under the bed and because I couldn't access it I pulled the bed and OMG! there was about 10 years of dust and debris under the bed - I was gob smacked! The difference in colour was unbelievable. What a let down by housekeeping! Its a good job it was our last morning or else it would have put me off staying. Management need to be aware of this and housekeeping trained to do their job better or given more time to do a better job. The manager did not check us out or I would have mentioned it to him, the guy who served our breakfast checked us out. We stayed in room 6

Stayed for one night for an event in Kingston. Absolutely fantastic stay, room had everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean, beautiful decor and complementary drinks in the mini fridge. We had lunch and a beautiful breakfast the next morning. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they really are a credit to the place. It felt like a home from home. Will definitely be back. Thanks all for a wonderful break.

We have stayed at the Queens Head on several occasions and each visit never disappoints. The rooms are lovely, great shower and very comfortable bed. A nice touch this time was complimentary drinks including a bottle of beer and Prosecco as well as tea and coffee in our room. The breakfast is very good which includes a full English and a lot of other hot breakfast options as well as cereal and buffet options. The Manager Stuart and his staff all work hard to make you feel welcome. Thanks again, we will return.

Friendly pub with rooms. Really comfortable, well equipped rooms, wonderfully friendly and helpful staff, good range of drinks on the bar, great secluded garden behind bar, cracking breakfast and the main food menu looked very tempting too, although we didn’t eat there other than breakfast.

Overnight stay. Small rooms but very comfortable bed and great shower. Nice touch complimentary wine and beer, plus very good free tea & coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included in our deal. Lovely choice of fresh fruit, yogurts, etc as well as a cooked dish. We are used to living in the country so found the main road a bit noisy.

We stayed here for two nights and had a fabulous stay. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated. The complimentary beer and wine was a nice extra, as were the good quality teabags, coffee bags and chocolates. Lovely large shower and top notch shower, shampoos etc provided. The breakfast choice was good and we actually ate her 3 times (lunch and two dinners), the food was so good. Helpful pleasant staff, what more could you want. Room to rear of pub for 3 vehicles, although space limited if you have a larger type car. We will definitely return to the Queens Head if we are up this way again. Really good value for money given location.

Absolute Gem of a Pub! Just come home from an overnight stay at the Queen’s Head and had a super comfortable stay. Boutique room was beautifully decorated and really well equipped, complete with complimentary drinks. All the staff were really welcoming and our evening dinner was just delicious with a great selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Breakfast was a huge surprise, offering a selection of juices, pastries, yoghurts, sliced meats and then a choice of cooked options and hot drink. Service was fantastic and the team all work really hard to give you an incredibly warm welcome. Thank you all, our stay was fabulous.

We stay the night. We had dinner. Was ok as came out cold. Was changed straight away but only meat was changed still had the same plate as I feel the whole meal should have been changed but very good. The staff where lovely so friendly Mia was fab a roo. Room was amazing bed comfy. TV did not work as could not get a signal. The only main let down was the music first thing about 7ish am woke us which I felt shouldn’t had been lower as breakfast was between 7-11. Just a thought just keep it turned down until your guest are up. Breakfast was not a d delicious was so full. The lady we did not get her name was also lovely and helpful

Quite honestly, the best fish and chips we have ever had! The food was amazing!!!! Nice service too! Just the price of the drinks were the highest in the region Kingston/Richmond. But good too ;) We will be back for those fish and chips!!!

I watched a group of well behaved youngsters get removed from their booked table. This made way for older clientele that hadn’t booked! Clearly a more prosperous prospect for the establishment. This really isn’t a community pub and in future I will be taking my business elsewhere. There are far more community friendly pubs a short walk away.

This is an awful pub. We booked online for a table and when we arrived they kicked us out because one of us didn’t have an ID. It was absolutely disgraceful and couldn’t believe it. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone as the staff are horrible to their customers. There are much better more polite pubs to visit. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Rude staff and horrible customer service. Don’t go here.

Very helpful staff, Had a very cool indulgence room with all necessary facilities. Bar very pleasant too. The restaurant offers a good section of the food form the menus and the breakfasts are excellent, especially the full English. So a good place to stay when investigating Kingston and the area.

Stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night whilst visiting friends nearby. The rooms, in a converted stables (?) were refurbished, along with the whole pub, in 2016. The upgrade was very well done and the whole place is well run. Our room was spacious and quiet with a large comfortable double bed and a good sized ensuite with a double shower. The design features are original and quirky.We arrived midday in a Friday and had a delicious late lunch in the pub. The food is freshly prepared with plenty of good vegetarian options. Lovely breakfast included. Whoever was responsible for this upgrade of a traditional pub got it just right retaining the character of the place whilst providing modern facilities and adding new touches. The mostly young staff could not have been more helpful.A useful tip - they have four parking places available on a first come first served basis if you book in advance.

Really nice place to stay, its a pub but we had a room that was off the building, lovely spacious room, bunkbeds for the kids. There is aircon for the hotter weather too.No noise even though its next to a busy road. Very well priced, breakfast included in the price too which was lovely. Definitely recommend.

Mais c'est vraiment pour trouver aussi un petit truc à redire.Je conseille et j'y retournerai avec grand plaisir.

Our visits here had often been up and down. It does seem that when the manager is absent the only thing that happens is regulars get pints pulled. It had been a long couple of weeks and finally we got precious time for a date night and a hard earned Christmas meal together. On arrival the restaurant was all but empty but we were seated in the bar. 10 minutes later we got water and ordered wine and our meals. 30 minutes after that we went in search of our waitress and enquired where our drinks and/or food were. We got a cheesey grin and promises of great things to come. 15 minutes I sought another waitress to cancel our order altogether as I was determined not to be totally ignored for an hour and then be charged a service charge at the end.This waitress was initially keen to show an acceptable level of customer service before realising she couldn't find our order.We left. Good fortune was on our side though. We got an amazing meal with attentive service a short time later in our new favourite bar restaurant so thank you Queens Head for that.
