Lovely relaxing ambience, and comfortable dining area.

I ate in this restaurant, I felt the real taste of Iranian food and the staff were very professional and kind. I will definitely come back again.

Well situated on New Malden high street, modern interior, attentive service and interesting menu if you are unfamiliar with Persian cooking. No alcohol served. Enjoyed a very pleasant family get together, relaxing low volume music.

It was the first time we came to this restaurant, the food was excellent and the environment of the restaurant was very clean, it was our best experience from an Iranian restaurant and we also enjoyed the food it was really delicious.

I had an unexpected stop after a health appointment and was really heartened to have found my new favourite Persian restaurant. Beautifully cooked and marinated joojeh kebab, with saffron rice and a flavoursome salad. Highly recommend.

Most amazing food i’ve had ever had in the UK!

This restaurant was excellent. The food was of great quality and the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. I highly recommend the kebabs; they were tender, juicy, and probably the best I've ever had. I recommend this restaurant as it's likely the best Persian restaurant. I'll be returning. :)

The food here is excellent, fresh, delicious and full of flavour. Fluffy rice, freshly made bread in front of you, fresh salad and juicy marinated meat. Would like to try more of the menu as there are some interesting dishes to sample. The service is excellent. Highly recommend!!

High quality good & polite service

We had a small house party and placed an order for 12 people, we ordered 3 mixed platters and starters. The food was packed perfectly and absolutely delicious. Very generous portions and high quality ingredients. Thank you for your hospitality and getting our order just right All our guests loved the food 💐

The chicken portion was so small. The rice was almost all just plain boiled, no seasoning. Bland bland bland.

I have been here for lunch and dinner and it's absolutely amazing!! I would recommend it to anyone who's not allergic to food! There's vegetarian and vegan options!!! Service is great, everything's clean, meat is fresh, it's an amazing experience!!!! FABULOUS 🤩

The Fesenjan tasted great. I absolutely recommend it. I also enjoyed the chilli King prawns. It wasn't too spicy to eat. I think it would be good with garlic bread.

This is a very nice lunchtime surprise. The lamb and chicken are excellently cooked. They are tender, succulent and well marinated. The meat's taste is well balanced with spice. Rice is wonderful. Mint tea should be the best choice. You can taste mint blending in well with tea.

Sofreh is amazing! The food is so tasty and cooked to perfection - not burnt like some other places. The staff are super friendly and really look after you. If you want great Persian food in London, this is the spot. Definitely worth checking out!

I had always seen this place on my google search but finally got the chance to experience it. The food turned out to be much better than I expected actually one of the best Iranian food I ever had, btw I am Iranian as well. The service was also good and people were very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, we don't have any Persian restaurants in East London, and I really enjoy Turkish cuisine. So I gave this a try and was blown away by the food. I got the two minced kebabs with the saffron rice, and it was so flavourful and juicy that I couldn't stop eating. I highly recommend it.

Good fresh food but can of drinks cost 3.30 which is too much. Always nice to eat here but please reduce the price

Such a lovely restaurant and very clean qirt a polite host. We ordered bread hummus,calamari and a sofra special mixed grill for 4 which is a lot of meat comfortably enough for 3 adults and 2 older kids with some left over. Been to lots of persian restaurant and this is definitely one of my faves. Highly recommend

The food was class and portions are generous. Bread made fresh in store and the flavours were on point. Service was brilliant - most notably the speed of staff and awareness of your needs. Visited this stylish restaurant in New Malden where we were served a platter of kebabs, tasty rice with fresh salad and freshly baked bread from tanoor. We took our own wine there. Simply delightful in a modern setting. You will love it.

Really thankful to the Sofreh Team for hosting a great work lunch event for my team. 13 of us attended, we were looked after well, and the food came out nicely presented and tasted great! The lamb dishes we had were cooked to perfection, and the freshly baked naan in particular is the best i’ve had in a long time! Will be sure to visit and order again soon!

I recently visited Sofreh Persian Restaurant & Halal Food and had an exceptional dining experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy meal. I tried both the Kobideh and the Joojeh, and they were cooked to perfection. The seasoning on both dishes was spot on, bringing out the rich, authentic flavors. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring I left completely satisfied. The service was excellent as well. They even delivered food to my home, which is outside their usual delivery zone. This level of care and commitment is rare and truly appreciated. The food was excellent, and their kindness made a difficult time a bit easier. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!

Food was really good. I was however, disappointed that they are not licensed to sell alcohol as I was looking forward to having a beer with the food but the food was good anyway.

Had food here four times of which once was a takeaway. My southeast Asian parents loved this the most out of all the restaurants they went to when they came to London. My Persian husband and his family also said it’s really good and authentic.

Amazing experience delicious food

This one of the best Iranian restaurants I've ever eaten in. The food is always consistent and the service really good. The prices are also unbeatable for the portions they provide.

We have eaten here on many occasions. The food is exceptional and the quality of meat and the ingredients are superb. Portions are generous and the service is very good. The staff are very accommodating and responsive. Service with a smile makes all the difference. This restaurant is an asset to New Malden and it’s a great alternative to the chains / Asian restaurants.

Ordered through a third party website but these guys got the time wrong and made the food two hours earlier than they should have. Worst part? They didn't accept responsibility and blamed it on the their third party partner. In the end, we got given a re-heated dish at a hefty price and was told to order directly from then on. Not recommended at all. In fact, I already dissuaded plenty of people from buying food here.

Placed a large delivery order for a party, food was beautifully presented, arrived fresh, warm, tasted great and we were very pleased with the quality. The guests particularly enjoyed the lamb shoulders. Not only we would be ordering again but would also be recommending to others.

Truly authentic Persian experience! Lovley juicy koobideh and properly marinated baby chicken on the bone. Great starters and portion sizes with fresh bread from the tanoor! Very nice attentive staff. What more can you ask for?!

A girls' lunch yesterday - 4 delicious main courses! I had the chicken skewer with sour pomegranate sauce which was fantastic, and my friends all enjoyed their choices too. Nice piano jazz in the background so not too loud to chat over. Can't recommend highly enough, this is about my 8th visit.

This was my first time at the restaurant. The staff seemed unprepared or unimpressed to receive patrons. We had to ask multiple times for water and other basics to be provided to the table. The bread arrived cold, and we asked for it to be replaced, the staff seemed annoyed and gave what can only be described as ‘attitude’ that we had asked. What was frustrating is that we were the only people at the restaurant. Food was ok; unfortunately the service needs attention.

For me it's one of the best Persian restaurants I have ever eaten at. The food quality is exceptional and always consistent! I couldn't recommend it highly enough. One of, if not the best in New Malden. We are now regulars, both dinning in and having it delivered. Service is always friendly and courteous.

Really tasty , good quality meat. Added bonus of BYOB only £5 corkage fee. Attentive staff and very clean premises. They could get rid of the table numbers which are a bit unnecessary. 🤔

Took over an hour to arrive, they clearly forgot about our order as I rang and they didn’t even know what the delivery address was (delivery address was different to billing address). Ordered directly via website which was recommended by the member of the staff which is even more disappointing. The food was lovely when it eventually arrived but I do think almost £7 for yogurt and cucumber is a bit ridiculous.
