Three Peas in a Pod is our go-to when we want some excellent home-cooked, comfort food. Whether it's a quick lunch or sit-down Sunday dinner, it really is such a lovely little gem in Surbiton, not to be missed. Highlights are definitely the roast lamb and jacket potatoes. The pie and mash is also delicious and very authentic. Good old British food, done right. The customer service is some of the best you will ever encounter. Michelle, the owner, is an incredible chef and Chantelle is so lovely every time we visit, always greeting customers with a smile. I can't wait to enjoy many more comforting meals at Three Peas in a Pod. It really is the most authentic and cosy dining experience you can experience.

The Oder was missing the drink and apple pie and custard. There was no Yorkshire pudding. I’m really disappointed as this is the third time I’ve ordered from here and the last two times has been amazing. Lovely food, loads of veg and a great Yorkie

service hit and miss, sometimes good, sometimes cancelling orders. Food good mostly but every now and then things go wrong so could do better. Quality of ingredients is high though.

Known this place for ages but never been in until today. What a lovely little cafe. They have quite an extensive menu for the size of the place, and both our meals were freshly cooked and very tasty. The staff were friendly and the prices very reasonable. I’m only sorry not to have ventured into this little gem years ago.

Had the delicious steak and ale pie which was served with lovely garlic mash and veg, the gravy was some of the nicest I've tasted. Also they never use a microwave to reheat food. The guy in the cafe cursing and complaining about his wife didn't even put me off my lunch.. well worth a visit.

food really good thanks, only issue was putting the butter portions in a bag with hot food unfortunately meant they all melted and made a mess everywhere when they leaked out of the bag!

Really friendly, local cafe. My partner has dietary needs and the ladies who took our order went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. The cooked breakfast was great. Would recommend and hope that others support this lovely local business.

Don’t overlook this bistro! It’s the best freshly made, home cooked wholesome food, all loving created by ladies who know how to do it properly. Great roasts, shepherds pie, steaks, etc but the best for me is getting a variety of fresh veg with mash and home made gravy from scratch. This week I ordered a steak with mash and it came with green beans, sprouts, mashed swede and greens. All beautifully cooked. It’s gorgeous, not over cooked, hot, tasty. I’m hungry thinking about it. And they deliver! Perfect if you fancy a roast on Sunday and don’t want to pay £20 down the pub.

I live down the road and manage a pub and took a chance on the "daily lamb roast" today and have shown photos of my absolutely incredible lunch to all of my regulars and they cannot believe the absolutely insane value for money and fantastic quality of the food delivered to me today. There was a HUGE portion of freshly roasted lamb, 5 different veg all perfectly cooked (cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans and carrots), beautiful home made roast potatoes cooked to perfection and a homemade yorkie, not to mention the absolute VAT of gravy that came with it (the correct amount of gravy), also mint sauce but I'm not a fan personally. The food was absolutely class and probably the best roast I've ever had delivered, even though it was a Tuesday afternoon, I wasn't expecting a lot but for £9.99 it is absolutely worth double that, it's tided me over through my 13 hour bar shift and I will happily order this every week. Stunning. Please don't sleep on this place, their food is made with love and is proper PROPER homemade food and is a proper hidden gem in Surbiton. Cannot recommend this place enough. Can't wait to try other things on their menu ❤️

Balti Rice was dry n quality of rice tasteless . It is NOT basmati or poor equivalent . Missing NAN I was looking forward to . The lamb was Tender which was great . There were decent amount of lamb pieces . The King prawn was not fresh the spaghetti was overcooked . Spinach was MISSING. Overall I was disappointed n it’s expensive.

I've ordered breakfast from Three Peas in a Pod on two occasions before and it was great. Unfortunately, my experience today was pretty shocking. Firstly, all the toast was dotted with mould. Not just one or two pieces but all of them. The poached egg had a two inch hair on top & the sausages were burnt. Not overcooked, but burnt. It wasn't even fit to give to my dog. It all went in the bin. I'm wondering if there is new ownership or just a new cook? It is a sorry comparison to food I had from there in January.

mixed results tbh, Food good overall but I asked for runny eggs and got overcooked ones. bacon seemed undercooked for my taste , I like it a bit crispy. mushroom and sausages were good. hash brown ok but also a bit undercooked for my taste. Nice quality bread and glad the packaging was good, container for beans stopped a mess arriving.

I love three peas in a pod. It combines the old school charm of the traditional cafe, fantastic service, a warm welcome and delicious food (and they do kippers!!!) What's not to love!

This place is absolutely amazing. You get a nice warm welcome from Chantel and team, a traditional cafe experience which is lacking on the high street today and the most amazing home cooked food. 5 stars

Had the best pie and mash I’ve had in a very long time here on a busy Saturday lunchtime. My better half had butter kippers which were amazing too. The service was outstanding. I used to live in Surbs and walked past many times and never stepped foot inside, it’s easy to walk past. Don’t make the same mistake!

We popped in for lunch today and feel so silly for not having visited before! This is a great little cafe with such good food - perfect for families at any time of day. My husband and I had fantastic pies with mash and a huge amount of fresh, perfectly cooked veg while the kids had toasties and fries made to order. The service was so friendly and the atmosphere cosy - we are certainly coming back for more. If you fancy home style cooking without the bother of cooking yourself - this is the place to go. I've not found anywhere else like this locally - recommended!

Absolutely delicious homemade food and big portions. The ladies are lovely, and the place is very cute. The only downside for me is that sometimes it is a bit hard to fit in if someone else has a pram. Other than that, 5 stars well deserved 👌🏼😍

Had lunch, best pie and mash I’ve had in very long time, pies all home made. Comes with liquor but happy to swap to gravy. My better half had butter kippers with bubble and squeak and that was delicious as well. Pop in if you can get a table, you won’t regret it.

Popped in for a take away lunch yesterday, was really impressed by all the vegan dishes on offer for Veganuary. I ordered a chick'n gujon wrap, which was delicious, I also go to try the vegan lemon cake, which was fab. Looking forward to going back to try the vegan breakfast soon 😊

Absolutely outstanding! 10/10. This is the first time ordering from here and first time ordering a roast to be delivered. It won’t be the last! Lamb was cooked beautifully, every veg under the sun & cooked just right, gorgeous gravy, divine roasties… everything was incredible. As a foodie, I honestly say best meal I’ve had in a long time. Do not hesitate to order from here. You won’t be disappointed!

Expensive menu said tradition pie and mash and liquor. Pie was short crust pastry mince beef not suet and minced lamb so pies taste nothing like traditional pie and mash and liquor weird taste definitely not liquor so dogs got it sorry they're other food maybe really nice just not pie and mash sorry and on just eat brownie £1.50 but my daughter was charged £2.50 take away so we'll be sticking with harringtons and lidl for brownies

Decent roast chicken dinner delivered

Now I know what a falafel and humous wrap made with love tastes like! Michelle and Chantelle serve food with a friendly smile at this tucked away gem in Surbiton. Cosy and homely with a great lunchtime menu. We had wraps and freshly squeezed orange juice followed by coffee and tea and lots of lovely conversation with the owner and staff. This is a great place to make your regular lunchtime spot because you WILL get great customer service here. You won't be 'just another customer'. They'll remember you and connect and make you feel wanted. Please note there is no toilet on premises (although there's one around the corner at the local YCMCA) and the café closes at around 4pm.

I ordered the roast pork with crackling which states it comes with roast potatoes, 5 seasonal vegetable, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. There is no Yorkshire pudding or crackling (my favourite and why I picked to even make the order). I wasn’t contacted at all to say if there was any issue with parts of my order.

Surbiton is full of coffee shops and some franchise places for breakfast. You should go and pay a visit Three Peas in a Pod. This small place has great food and does very healthy breakfast!!!! It's not a grease spoon, it's a great and yet unknown place you should visit!!!! Nothing to envy to more popular places we all know!

Visited this place earlier today with my colleague. What a beautiful, warm, friendly cafe it was. The two ladies that's served us were very friendly and really took their time showing us the menu. The crusty roll I had was out of this world, warm fresh and simply tasty. I will definitely be coming back and I have told my colleagues about this little gem. Thank you once again.

Excellent service, thank you so much peas in a pod. The delivery driver didn't pick up my drink and three peas did an amazing service of sending her husband around with my drink and a cake, even though it wasn't their fault. Really appreciate it, I would have been happy with a refund, but they insisted. The pie n mash is amazing every time as well. Thanks again

Avoid. The service, even though very polite, was excruciatingly long and this wouldn't have been so bad if there was some sort of background entertainment to cover up the rumbling tums. Vegan breakfast was ok as fuel but poor if you have taste buds. Coffee wasn't good in any circumstance. And, I feel it was extremely over priced for what I got.

Great food, really high quality, you can tell its made with love & care. I can highly recommend the pie, mash and liquor 😋 it really is so tasty. I've grown up in East London, the home of pie n mash and this one is by far the best I've ever tasted. If eat it every day if I could. I need to try the roasts one day. Good price and very delicious home food.

The roast meat was overcooked and literally tasteless, the vegetables were stewed and watery! The portion was generous, but unfortunately was hard to eat due to the blandness. It really is a shame, as only ordered due to the reviews. Will go back to my usual, where as the beef is rare and nothing else is overcooked. Unfortunately I do not recommend 👎

If you want your sausages and pie charred + a pile of unseasoned steamed veg, that's the spot Don't even think about ordering poached eggs Could have at least called to warn or request more time to redo the some of the food

Such good value for money. Loads of options to choose from, I had the vegetarian breakfast. Huge portion, food was really hot and tasty. I’d 100% recommend. Latte was also still really hot and delicious. We’ll definitely be eating here again!

Food is very nice I can not fault that, however I ordered a lucozade orange and I was given the original and let’s face it no one likes original lucozade lol...

I was intrigued by the pie & mash sign out front, and after passing by it a few times I decided to give it a go. Let me say, as somebody who comes from a long line of East Londoners this really surpassed my expectations! Delicious!The lady who runs the place (who is absolutely lovely might I add) seemed genuinely happy to see us and made sure our order was furnished with everything we might need, despite her being busy with a table of diners at the time.As a bonus, they also use very good quality, reusable take-away packaging. I've stored and reheated several meals in them since.Have since gone back and ordered pie & mash for the whole family, who were also pleased.I definitely recommend!

Heard a lot of good things about Three Peas in a Pod, arrived a little earlier than my friend, but got chatting to another customer and the owner (sorry didn't ask her name), ordered a cup of tea while I waited for my friend, which came in a big cup and saucer and separate jug of milk. We ordered pie, mash and parsley sauce (liquor) and we were not disappointed, lovely buttery pastry pies, and filled with delicious mince in a rich dark gravy, mash potato was perfect. Wish we had space for the apple pie and custard. Will be back again to try Sunday Roast.
