The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in St Mark's Kingston upon Thames London

right. this is the first time in my life i’ve left a bad review for a restaurant, and i’ve had experiences where my meal has accidentally come without the sauce, or where they’ve given me regular potato tempura instead of sweet… so it takes a lot for me to be phased basically. first time ordering from here, found a thick dark hair in my mouth when i bit into my pizza. made me feel sick, honestly disgusting. called a couple of days later** to ask for a refund and they refused, saying it was not their responsibility. i had to literally ask them to apologise to me. they were more than keen to lay the blame on Deliveroo, even though it’s pretty obvious that the issue would come from food preparation/ hygiene. **might be worth adding that i have OCD and this experience was very distressing for me, especially in a pandemic. i couldn’t bring myself to confront the situation that night or even the next day, just didn’t want to think about it. honestly feel violated knowing that a stranger’s hair has been in my mouth, along with their scalp oils and skin cells. who am i to know whether they have good hygiene, or how often they shower? given that their hair has ended up in my food i think it’s fair to guess that their standards aren’t good. so yeah don’t order from here unless you like spending £20 to eat stranger’s hair and being gaslit about it afterwards

table was booked for 12.15 on a Saturday. 2 adults and 2 kids. wasn't very busy, not quite but not full. 3 staff were in the kitchen and 3 staff on the floor. it took a long time for the drinks to arrive after we order them. then our food arrive more than 1 hour after we ordered. I had to ask twice by walking to the kitchen pass how long or where was our food ( 2 kids pizza,1 adult pizza and 1 caesar salad). No one was coming to check on us. when the 3 pizzas arrived i had to wait more than 15 minutes more for my salad to be served when both kids already finished their pizza and my friend had nearly finished his pizza. never had such a bad service or had to wait so long for some food they may be called Pizza express but there is nothing express about their service.

This restaurant gives off the chain restaurant vibe - it lacks atmosphere, service is hit and miss and the food is so-so. It is close to the station though, so convenient, i guess.

Parece que Basilico ha tenido momentos bastante difíciles en los últimos tiempos según las revisiones, por lo que quería agregar mi experiencia para la sucursal de Surbiton. No hay forma de evitar el hecho de que estas pizzas son caras. La mayoría de los lugares ofrecen pizza por la mitad o incluso la cuarta parte del precio. Sin embargo, debes recordar que estos lugares están tomando algo impregnado de tradición, arte y habilidad, y lo están convirtiendo en una experiencia insulsa, aburrida y francamente básica para los paladares británicos. Si califica a Dominos y a los horribles Papa Johns, entonces debe atenerse a ellos. Siempre es un poco lagrimeo cuando se calcula el precio de estos. . 40 por 2 pizzas? mental. Pero es MUY mucho mejor que en cualquier otro lugar después de comerlo, siempre sé que es la decisión correcta. Bases finas, masa de calidad, buena base de salsa de tomate, coberturas auténticas (¡sobre todo!). La entrega de anoche fue a tiempo, las pizzas estaban calientes, comimos más que llenos, muy bueno. Lo recomiendo de todo corazón. No me he sentado adentro a comer, solo me han entregado pizza, por lo que esta revisión es puramente para llevar / entrega.

Decidimos disfrutar de las pizzas de Basilico como un cambio de Pizza Express. ¡Qué MUY decepcionado estábamos! Casi no hay coberturas, y la base de la pizza en sí estaba demasiado quemada en algunas de las pizzas. Agregando insulto a la lesión, eran muy caros. ¡De vuelta a Pizza Express entonces!
