Booked this for my boyfriend’s birthday based on the great Google reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The food was top-notch—beautifully presented and full of flavor. The seating was spacious and comfortable, making the experience even more enjoyable. Service was excellent—attentive without being intrusive. A perfect spot for a special occasion!
I discovered Sichuan popo restaurant a year ago, it was Love at first sight. Aside the great atmosphere and fantastic tasty food, I felt valued customer, and have been back there ever since . In the heart of Kensington and Chelsea not far from Holland Park.
Great service. Our waitress was very polite and helpful. Coffee was nice, food was ok. I ordered a full English and it was served cold. Cold scrambled eggs, beans, etc. plates were cold too. It’s a small thing but could have changed that breakfast around just to warm the plates before serving up.
Realmente me gustaría felicitarme por el excelente tiempo que pasé en The Franklin London. Todo está curado profundamente en los detalles, el personal es amable y extremadamente amable educado y servicial. El restaurante es uno de los mejores que he atado en los hoteles de Londres y es un verdadero italiano (soy italiano y aprecio plenamente todas las elecciones que hice). Una felicitación masiva a Stefania que me dio un montón de grandes sugerencias mientras elegía los platos, ella es muy agradable y bien preparado, ella escuchó cuidadosamente mis gustos y me compró a las elecciones correctas.

This is the best afternoon tea we’ve ever had! I spent a lot of time researching different more well known places but this seemed to have way more interesting food options for the same price. As soon as we stepped into the hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly and caring. Then we were led to our seats and the atmosphere was so calm and relaxing which I think would be definitely less so at other places. We were served by a lovely man who said his nickname was Harry so thank you to Harry for the amazing care!! The service was attentive and sincere and he explained everything thoroughly and we never felt rushed the whole time. We felt really looked after by everyone. The sandwiches were the best we’ve ever had at an afternoon tea! Really unique and fresh and delicious. Our favourites were the crab and grapefruit with trout roe roll and the salmon croissant with poached egg and pickled onion. They let us have extra! We got to try two different teas too. Overall you get lots of food at a very high standard that you don’t get anywhere else. I’m surprised it’s not very well known compared to other afternoon teas but I do love how it’s a hidden gem selfishly. Would definitely come back again! Had the loveliest time and think i’d struggle to find a better afternoon tea! ❤️❤️
Zaika’s setting and decor is fabulous. However, the food seemed slightly above what you would get in Indian restaurants. I wonder whether the chef has changed. The food that we got wasn’t worth the £58.40 per head that it came to. And the service wasn’t that great. Our table didn’t get cleared after we had finished and I had to ask for it to be cleared. And even then, it wasn’t done immaculately. Somethings were taken and somethings not. The waiters didn’t remember/know who ordered what and bought the wrong dish to the wrong person. The waiters were also being instructed by head waiters (it seemed).
Cené aquí pidiendo su menú de premios fijos con mi pareja. El personal de camareros es muy agradable y la comida es sabrosa (aunque no extraordinaria) y muy bien presentado. Además, hay una serie de artículos de bouche de diversión "gratis" proporcionados. Sin embargo, el tamaño de las porciones de este menú es pequeño. Yo diría que las porciones son como tapas en lugar de una comida que satisfaga su hambre.
Pero lo que realmente quemó mis juanetes fue que cuando llegó la factura, incluía un cargo de £ 1 por caridad. Elijo mis propias organizaciones benéficas voluntariamente y no espero ser carterista en un restaurante elegante y caro. Si los propietarios quieren, pueden donar a la caridad de sus bolsillos sin imponerme esto con una adición furtiva a la factura. Además, la factura tenía un cargo de servicio del 15%, lo que, además de sus precios inflados y su adición de £ 1, realmente mella mi cartera. A 12 . 5% de cargo por servicio es la norma en Londres. El 15% es ridículo. No se mencionó la extorsión benéfica o el cargo por servicio inflado por adelantado. No me extraña que cierren el restaurante. Incluso si permanecieran abiertos, nunca volvería.
