I felt I was an imposition to the chef and assistant. The croissant wasn't baked enough so it was doughy and the service was dismissive - the price is high in comparison to nearby cafes. Admittedly there were few of us as customers so there was not the incentive but to rest her foot on the seat of the customer chairs was too much so I left.

We met our friend Joanna after a challenging journey on all sides (tube station closed, park rear entrance bolted, crossed messages and inclement weather). Very happy to find this cafe open and Peter so welcoming. The freshly-made lunch offering was just emerging from the kitchen as we arrived and we found a table overlooking the gorgeous garden to recover. Joanna had some complicated dietary requirements and Juliette went out of her way to prepare something Joanna could eat without worry, and it was all delicious! Thus fortified and spirits restored, we were able to enjoy the delights awaiting us inside Leighton House. A great place to visit and share with friends.

Merci beaucoup à Juliette pour son enthousiasme et son énergie. Les gâteaux étaient excellents. Ne pas hésiter après la visite, cette pause sucrée est obligatoire

Beautiful selection of bagels and sandwiches with such mouthwatering filings - it was so difficult to decide! The staff were so friendly and attentive and were more than happy to freshly prepare a (very generously sized) gluten free equivalent for me whilst my husband enjoyed the pastrami bagel with mustard mayo, cheese and pickles. The coffee was great and there was a lovely selection of cakes too (though sadly I was too full from my enormous sandwich to partake - perhaps next time!). Would definitely recommend.

As someone who has wheat and cow’s milk allergies I was well looked after by the lovely staff at De Morgan’s. Specially prepared gluten free rolls packed with avocado, dried tomatoes, chestnut and crispy onion were with me in a jiffy. Thank you for your kind consideration.

They call themselves a gastropub, and they earned that right with the meal they served. Within the confines of a traditional English pub, they have twists and rei-ntetpretations of classic English fare that meets the interests of their younger audience. My wife and I, Americans in our 60s, were perfectly at home and had a wonderful Sunday roast meal that could not have been matched.

Very tasty breakfast and super friendly service. Can only be recommended.

Been going here for nearly 10 years and now they just keep putting their prices and up and filling the sandwiches with less filling. Won’t be going here anymore.

I had the breakfast today and had the choice between a tea or a drink. I chose the tea. Which was terrible.. I then asked can I swap this for water as the tea looked green... the staff was rude and said no. Its not hard to be nice. Small things like that make me not want to spend my money in there ever again. Food is average and sausage undercooked. I will not be coming back.

I just went this morning. The doors were locked and windows were papered up. It seems they’ve closed down.
