Freshest ingredients prepared simply and elegantly. Just delicious. Clearly run by people with a passion for good, honest food, very reasonably priced. A real gem.

Small cosy restaurant with fresh food, impeccable and kind service, the menu has a small selection but everything we tried was very good. We loved the quality of the products and the light simple combinations I will definitely go back

We celebrated our 40th anniversary at Wolfe. Despite some teething difficulties both the food and the service were outstanding. The burrata with truffle oil was really exquisite and the lamb delicious. Highly recommend.

Really fantastic neighbourhood restaurant. Menu changes daily and is reassuringly small: whatever inspires Wolfe... Try it. You'll love it.

There are much better restaurants in Notting Hill than Wolfe. We were drawn in by the excellent "reviews", though I now suspect they were completed by family and friends. There were no positives to our visit, just negatives:

¡Gracias!

I walk in and outside are a number of people smoking who turn out to be staff. Not very nice or professional. The inside is lovely and conducive to a great atmosphere. The gentleman taking our drinks order was knowledgeable and used the best tonic (Fevertree). Menu for food was all very tempting (not sure AA Gill was on about being limited for the type of meat). I chose the chicken as trying to be healthy. Whilst the chicken was tasty and tender the whole dish was unambitious. and together with leaks and a garlic mayonnaise everything was pretty much white in colour. It needed more. Other dishes were good but also lacked creativity. Dessert was very nice. All in all it is nice to visit once but will not go back.

Looking at the review posted previously, we were quite unpleasantly surprised by the overall experience at the wolf. The food is rather plain and really expansive for what it is. The staff is unfriendly & cold even though they were almost no one at the restaurant. The plus side is the decor which was good...Overall for the price we pay, I will not recommend this place at least before some improvement have been implemented

What a celebration of an individual's creativity and determination. Wolfe's is indeed that. Wolfe's. He is the chef, host, owner, creator of the interior (quite literally with his own hands I believe...), spirit in and behind the project... and it works fabulously: the food is excellent, it's simplicity a triumph, and the ambience good for any occasion. We'll be back - hope Wolfe's will stay true to itself... and why should it not.

With "Wormwood" opening last year, we imagined that would be the best in the neighbourhood - don't get me wrong, I still love it. But, we are SO pleased to have the newcomer "Wolfe" to up the anti... just returned from a delicious dinner of scallops and chorizo et al plus sublime lamb. A rare treat with delightful service. I'm lucky, I live around the corner and I'll be back...

I went to Wolfe a couple of Fridays ago and I have to say, it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Firstly, the atmosphere was buzzing, exactly how you'd imagine an unassuming local restaurant to be. We were greeted warmly by the hostess, who showed us to our seat, through a restaurant which we learnt later, was decorated almost exclusively from reclaimed materials. It looked stunning. The food was equally as stunning: beautiful plump scallops on a bed of charred chorizo and velvety pea puree was a great way to start. Offset by the simplicity of perfectly prepared asparagus. To follow was an impressive cod dish, with proscuitto and mussels which was divine. A shout out for the roe deer dish too which my friend was blown away by. All washed down with a great Californian Zinfandel, we were happy diners. We were made even happier by the Grand Marnier Brulee and molten Chocolate Fondant that followed. Just sublime.I don't normally write reviews on here, but this place is just too good to miss. If you're after good quality food, cooked exceptionally well, this gem in Notting Hill is for you. Go, before it gets too popular. I know I'll be back!

Wolfe served absolutely delicious food. Dishes were done to perfection, rich in flavour yet not too complicated. The atmosphere was very intimate and cosy. The interior decoration was warm and subtle. The staff were lovely. We are looking forward to an imminent return.

Visited Wolfe last night and I must say I was very impressed. The venue itself had such an intimate feel, perfect as I am a local to the area. One issue I had was we were told by a friend that Wolfe was sharing food, however when we arrived this was not the case and the menu was a standard set up. However once the food arrived all our doubts vanished, The food was delightful, the Roe deer in particular was a dream.I can not fault any part of our experience and will be back again.

For a restaurant that's only been open a week it's amazing that Wolfe is delivering already. Brilliant service, 5 star food, great wine list and homely, comfortable surroundings. Book in before word gets out, this is a great restaurant all round. I'm coming back for more venison and more ceviche.

I had the pleasure, last night, of eating at the newly opened Wolfe restaurant on All Saints Road in Notting Hill. The premise is simple, English small plates, great wine and friendly staff all in a comfortable yet stylish setting, but Wolfe takes this to a whole new level. Having eaten at a number of “small plate” restaurants, I have to say this is one of the best. I tried virtually everything off the menu, all of which relied on excellent ingredients with almost flawless preparation and cooking. Some real standout dishes were the monkfish ceviche, lamb, tabbouleh and honestly one of the most impressive venison (roe deer to be precise) I have ever tasted. It would have been rude not to try dessert…all I will say is have the crème brûlée, it’s hard to beat.If you are looking for a restaurant which has really focused the menu on excellent, straight forward cooking and great seasonal ingredients, you won’t go wrong at Wolfe! I will definitely be back!

First, the service is always fantastic. Friendly staff who are never too busy to stop and have a conversation with the customer. The coffee is much better than what you'll find from a high-street chain and the food is homemade and healthier. Recently they have also ventured into stone baked pizzas and even make their own bread on site. Gluten-free and vegan options also available. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. 5 Stars all around!

This is a family business and they so clearly take pride in their baking and their products. You will not be disappointed. Another thing is, they will deliver for you at a very reasonable charge unless it is extremely far away. Whenever we need anything delivered in London, it's always from Brownie Box. Don't miss their blondies!

Now this is a private members' club, so you cannot walk in off the street to eat an incredible meal. I was lucky enough to be invited to lunch by my beloved step-mother, wife of the dear man who took on the role of being my father for many years, himself a painter who mixed his own egg tempera and made my life and hers quite magical. This was our first face-to-face since his death, so apologies to the people sitting next to us, as I did sob quite a bit. I miss him terribly, and am awfully sorry that she is now a widow, as she loved him as much as I did. Counterpoint to such sadness was a sudden full-budget thunderstorm with hail, huge raindrops, and theatrical thunder, which everyone enjoyed, because nobody at Chelsea Arts is scared of lightning. They are all too old, or too brave or too deaf, and in the middle of this amazement, the food arrived. This is the kind of cooking that would tempt a dying child: small torn pieces of salty, milky, buttery Italian mozzarella, sprinkled with tiny cubes of fresh, intense, raw or perfectly cooked vegetables, transparent curls of cucumber and a warm, comforting, sweet-savoury and slightly mustardy dressing; the raising-up of simple stuff to perfect. My main course was river trout. A crispy skin as foil to the fall-apart perfect piece of tender fish bejewelled with a sprinkling of orange roe and other surprises. For a greedy person, these small, perfect portions were surprisingly satisfying, and their beauty on the plate was most painterly. For pudding, a perfect amount of blackberry clafoutis and a spoon-rolled dab of cold-coffee ice cream, but the icing on the cake - assuming I could squeeze any more in - was meeting Bryn and Hannah Terfel - recognised by my stepmother - in the street where my stepfather lived in the 1970s. If only I'd been pushy enough to follow them home for a sing-song. Perhaps next time. Three courses with two glasses of wine for two people, for a very reasonable £100.
