The Chelsea Gardener Cafe in Kensington and Chelsea

Chose this cafe due to reading positive reviews. The food here looks nice and it’s clearly a popular cafe. Not masses of choice but good enough. We chose the Thai Chicken soup which was very tasty and served with 2 small slices of sourdough bread. However, the soup was served lukewarm, cold at the bottom, and when we took it back to the counter asking for it to be heated up the unprofessional look we got from the dark haired waitress with the pony tail made us feel like we were being a nuisance. She actually rolled her eyes. Would like to see the cakes under clear covers and not left exposed in the open. Two of the inside tables are positioned in the garden centre shop itself which feels a little bit odd. There were 4 members of staff on duty in a relatively small cafe so customer service should have been better. Having said that I probably would go back.

We found the Chelsea Gardner Cafe by accident. It is a nice cafe that is in the Chelsea Farmers Market just off the Kings Road. Fresh breakfast.

What a great find! Recently visited the Army Museum close by and decided to explore the area a bit more. Lovely food, very friendly staff, great atmosphere, we were made to feel really welcome. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Our salon is a few doors down, and if there is one part of the day we look forward to, it is seeing the lovely Armando and his team at the Chelsea Gardner Cafe. They do the most delicious cakes, coffees and sandwiches - perfect for both of us when we have 5 minutes to eat between haircuts. Our clients often comment how good the coffee is. Thank you Armando, please keep it up at the expense of our waistline!

I used to come to this cafe even before lockdown. I have to say, what a transformation from before and now. New menu, new staff, new sitting setup. It’s just unbelievable how good this place is. I had the new sandwich with Coriander humous, capers, sun-dried tomatoes, avocado and grilled halloumi on a Italian focaccia, it is to die for. I am meat lover, but this sandwich is top. Their coffee is always well presented and made to perfection. Another high light are their fresh fruit smoothies, so yummy. Keep doing this amazing work guys.

Honestly, Best customer service Best coffee Best avocado on toast Best Nutella doughnut I highly recommend this little gem cafe in Chelsea. It’s a part of the Chelsea Gardener Center.. I will be back for sure

Our daughter is in Royal Brompton ICU, this cafe is very close, we come here to reflect and the service, coffee and food is amazing - best croissant we have ever had, we go for a ham & cheese and cheese & tomato, they season the dough and toast them - we highly recommend if you are in the area ! A place of calm, smiles and excellent food

I love this café! It’s a real sun trap in the morning and afternoon, with seating indoors as well. The staff are friendly and amazing and there is a nice selection of food and treats. Also, the COFFEE. I’ve tried a lot of coffee from all over and they truly make some of the best. They’ve also started doing cocktails on select evenings, too, which are very reasonably priced for the area and done exceptionally well. It’s always a pleasure to visit!

The coffee is just perfect, the pastry is fresh and the sandwiches are so tasty. All of this, combined with vibrant staffs, makes a perfect spot to enjoy your day. Oh, and if you are plant addicted, it seems a heaven.

I have had the best customer service in the Chelsea Gardener Cafe. The variety of food and drinks and the garden vibe made me feel like coming back again! What a beautiful experience.

Great to take a break here for a drink and snack. Prompt service with comfortable environment, strong tea and quality food at a reasonable price. Staff pleasant and I'd certainly go there again.

So, i got recommendations for this caffe as I love plants, I have to say, was amazing experience! This caffe is literally connected with huge plant shop! And staf there was so nice ! This lady from cafe knows so much about teas! And coffee she prepared was so creamy and delicious, she recommended me to try the quiche, lovely ! I will definitely be back !

I recently stumpled across the Chelsea gardener and was greeted by a lovely young Women, I believe her name badge said Lara. We had a friendly conversation about the cafe and also about the garden centre, which she strongly urged me to have a wander around. So after my delicious pot of tea, which was delivered to my table very quickly, I had a look around the garden centre. It was lovely. I have not stopped recommending this place to everyone. It has all of my favourite things, good tea, coffee, plants and above all lovely staff members.

This quaint, cosy and friendly cafe offers deliciously smooth coffee, great snacks and lovely cakes. I had an amazing oat latte and extraordinary vegan lemon drizzle, raspberry filled doughnut. I shall definitely be back for more. Thank you to all the warm and friendly people...

Looks much better than it is. The atmosphere is lovely but the beetroot latte was very mediocre. The chai latte was exceptionally weak; the sandwich was decent and the vegan donut seemed stale. Staff can and should do much better.

Great place with outdoor and indoor seating, an amazing choice of drinks, very lovely staff, and a cozy ambiance. Located in the heart of Chelsea, as a part of The Chelsea Gardener! There are plants everywhere. I would suggest this place to everyone who wants...
