Small sushi and grocery shop, they have 6 seats inside facing the window, you can stay 45 minutes tops but it is more than enough to eat. They have premade options or you can order from their menu. Premade 8 pieces for ÂŁ15.5 or Sushi Special 9 pieces for ÂŁ21

We visited on a weekday evening. The restaurant was busy but the first impression was of a top restaurant and that impression continued all evening, with high quality service. For many people this is clearly a restaurant for a special night out - many guests were smartly dressed. More importantly, the food was excellent - the sharing platter of chateaubriand and lamb chops was very good, as were the desserts. There is a good wine list with a decent number of wines available by the glass or carafe.

Excellent pizza in an authentic and cozy atmosphere. This is the real deal if you're looking for authentic and good tasting pizza. A really small and authentic restaurant, with a passionate and friendly owner. They have pasta dishes as well. I tried the Picante pizza and it was excellent. From a personal point of view it could have a bit more nduja, but others might find it more than enough. Even had a good discussion with the manager about preferences concerning the crust, as I am quite the pizza nerd myself. Fairly priced as well, and charming surroundings, so all in all this is a highly recommended visit if in London.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and fairly reasonably priced drinks. We went over Christmas and enjoyed a good night here

We stumbled upon this charming coffee and wine/tapas bar on our first day in London. It was very much reminiscent of those we have visited in Spain. The owner was super warm and welcoming. We loved our olives and charcuterie board, but the lemon custard dessert was completely off the chain! It’s a fabulous spot for a beverage and a light bite. Don’t miss it in Islington!

First time to this place, its a bit of a walk from Old Street. Decent pub across the road. It has a bar but seems you can't just pop in for a drink. Food was really lovely, high quality & service was really great. Recommended.

Merecen otra oportunidad.

Looking for an easy place to have breakfast, we stumbled on this cafe. Couldn’t see the inside as there was condensation on the windows. Opening the door revealed the hidden gem; a proper English breakfast place. The welcome was warm, the menu full of classics and tasted great!

Exquisite đź‘Ś This establishment has a special place in my heart. The building has a very interesting history, the staff are amazing and the food is worth every penny. It's where I go when I want to treat myself and my daughter. I'm not rich or particularly educated. But I feel like I could be when I'm eating there, this has to be considered fine dining at its best. Thanks you once again guys. It was perfect.

This is now my favourite market, I came on Sunday which is a big mistake, majority shops in the market open on Wednesday and Saturday! I’ve heard some shops only take cash so make sure you at least have a tenner. I bought a ring which was supposed to be £5, but the owner was so nice and said my ring is small and £3 would do. This place gives different vibe to the other touristy markets, I love waking through the alleyways, and things here are more reasonably priced. You’ll find lots of vintage jewelleries, ornaments, cups etc.

Place is funky and cute. We arrived for the 6 pm service (out by 7:30). Basically, service poor and rushed, food lukewarm and uneven in quality As recommended by waitstaff, we ordered 4 dishes - we chose the grilled calcots, roasted jerusalem artichokes, sprouting broccoli and skrei cod. Food very uneven and mostly not at appropriate temperature (i.e. lukewarm). Cod was treated with respect but the "cipollini onions" seemed awfully similar to pickled onions from Waitrose. Also the coldness of the onions was jarring with the warmish fish. And that was the best of the lot. I liked the calcots themselves but the salsa romesco was tasteless and the "toasted" almonds were pretty pale for being toasted (rushed to the table?). Roasted artichokes were unexceptional. Partner liked the broccoli but I found it overcooked and limp. So this was a disappointment - menu sounds fun but ... just didn't deliver. To the service - we are very accustomed to the need to keep tables moving in small restaurants and are always respectful. However, you don't expect to be told 30 minutes in advance .... time to move along and be repeatedly told to move it despite saying - yes don't worry, we'll be done. So we felt very rushed and this was also an issue with most of the dishes arriving with no sense of timing - too much on the (small) table at once (which added to the temperature issues). Waitstaff seemed in some sort of alternative universe, floating around other than dropping dishes off and reminding us it was time to leave. Has potential but suspect the chef/owner needs to re-evaluate timing / quality of dishes and provide some training to staff on their engagement with customers.
