The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, friendly and kind staff. the food is excellent and well cooked.

The food is great and the staff was lovely. After having been several times, I celebrated my birthday dinner there and we had a lot of fun, including with the staff surprising me when the cake came with some very thoughtful and funny additions!

I have eaten here a few times and I absolutely love it. A delicious treat of Peruvian cuisine by Peruvian people. A must try. I will definitely come back! Best restaurant on the whole street!

21 pounds for a small serving of ceviche is a lot. Plus the owner was strange. My friend who is a girl wanted to pay separately but then he interrupted and said "a man should pay for everything." Very strange and macho. Plus we asked if we could talk for 5-10 minutes after the meal was over and he said ok. Then came back one minute later and said we had to leave because new customers wanted the table. We both thought that was rude, especially since we were nice and asked for five minutes. We won't return.

The food is excellent! The type of food you remember long after you’ve eaten it! The anticuchos and the lucuma cheesecake are to die for. The Aji de gallina and the Lomo saltado are also excellent and extremely flavourful! They have good drinks and the service is very polite and friendly! I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s not cheap but nothing is in London so at least here you feel the food is worth it.

Absolutely great food. They host a Peruvian buffet on Sundays, which has some of the most authentic and delicious Peruvian food in London. Lots of Latin American people visit the place so you can tell it's absolutely worth it. Update for Feb 2025: I wanted to visit this restaurant again and they informed me that the buffet costs £40. I paid £25 when I did this review and £30 last year. I don't think the value you get from the buffet is work £40 and I'm appalled that the restaurant hiked its price so much.

Nice authentic Peruvian food, we enjoyed a Saturday lunch in this restaurant. Big portions, lots of food!

Incredible food, service and atmosphere. If you don't know the food, let them advise you, they are lovely people who will help you choose. The Yuca, the Pisco Sour and the Quinoa dessert are essential.

Excelente servicio y muy buena comida. Lo más importante es la auténtica comida peruana. Fuimos un domingo, y tuvimos la suerte de que tenían un buffet los domingos, así que tuvimos la oportunidad de probar múltiples platos. Muy recomendable.

The service here was amazing! Staff were so helpful and friendly 10/10! I had my food veganised (lomo saltado) and it was so tasty, they added lots of vegetables and even soy "meat". The chicha morada was very good. I also tried the mijito was excellent.

Great service and fantastic authentic peruvian food

My family and I were craving Peruvian food and came to this place thanks to the recommendation of a friend. It made me happy to see they had a dish from my region in Peru, as the owners are from there. One of them even offered us a bit of ‘shacta’ (aguardiente huanuqueño) to try for free. He was really lovely and the entire personnel as well. I’m definitely coming back.

First time in a Peruvian restaurant and we were more than pleased! As we were a group of 7 we had a variety of dishes out of the menu! The Papa a la human sins, the Mixed ceviche, the Anticuchos with chicken, the Chicharron, the Arroz con mariscos, the Seco de cordero, the Cordero Huanuqueno and salad. Everything was amazing! All were very tasty, tender, fresh and flavored. Each dish was coocked perfecty. We had also the Pisco Sour cocktail which we were keep ordering! Light but strong full of flavor! Last but not least,the portions were large and the service was very good. Everyone was very polite and willing to explain the dishes or any questions we might had. A restaurant worth visiting!

Fourth time coming here. Just love the food so different and the friendly service. Especially nice not to be eating at chain. The Pisco Sour cocktail was a great find. Very drinkable! Can’t recommend enough.

We celebrated my partner’s birthday here, and it was our first time diving into Peruvian cuisine. The whole experience was fantastic. The staff was not only incredibly friendly but also went out of their way to explain each dish, helping us pick out some amazing options. They even chatted with us about Peruvian culture, which added a nice personal touch. The food? Outstanding. The ox heart starter was genuinely one of the best things I’ve tasted in ages, and the ceviche was super fresh and bursting with flavor. The cocktails were spot on too – we had a pisco sour that was perfectly balanced and delightfully strong. The ambience was cozy and felt almost homely, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion. While it wasn’t a cheap meal, the quality absolutely justified it. A special mention to the staff for making my partner’s day extra special with a little Peruvian memento – such a thoughtful touch!

Came here a few weeks ago, Wow! The food was so good and the family running the place are so friendly, it's really like walking into a little slice of Peru. I spent 3 months there and this place brought back so many memories, their cevichè and all their dishes are exactly how you would get it in Peru. Real authentic! Muchos gracias y hasta pronto! 10/10

I’ve been twice and the food is amazing. My brother’s vegetarian and was happy enough with the (admittedly slightly limited) vegetarian options but was equally impressed with the food. Waiters and atmosphere was all great. It was a little too loud for me and the prices were a little high but everything else was brilliant and I can’t wait to visit again.

Tierra Peru has plenty to offer producing high-quality traditional dishes not just from Lima but also far regions of the country. London's heart of Peruvian culture, food like no other South American restaurant around ! A blend of fine dining and bistro atmosphere, the restaurant has all the key ingredients for a unique evening tasting a variety of flavours.

Amazing ceviche! We ordered the Mancora Sharing Platter and we tried lots of different fishes and marinates. They charged 12% for a mediocre service directly on the bill which is definitely a steal. Psico sour 11£ for a very tiny glass it's crazy. OK it's London but the place is very small, service not great and I felt like taken advantage of.

My family and I stopped by Tierra Peru a few weeks ago and we could not believe how incredible everything was! I was traveling with my 80 year old father, brother and cousin (all Peruvian) and we were missing some authentic Peruvian food on the last night of our London trip. I found this restaurant on TikTok and I'm so happy I saved it and got to eat here. The owner was incredibly nice and shared all the history around his journey to the UK and how the restaurant came about. What I loved the most was how authentic the decor was, along with the music and videos playing. It truly felt like we were in Peru. Not to mention how delicious every single dish was. Moving forward I will recommend this restaurant to anyone I know visiting London. Muchas gracias por toda la atencion de todo corazon!

Great location for food and drinks. Very welcoming, the staff made great suggestions and coming on a Sunday I went for the cerviche & buffet. Oh and the pisco sours are definitely about 40% alcoholic 😆 and taste delicious!

Good, fast and pleasant service

This is for me one the best authentic Peruvian restaurants in London. I've been visiting this place for about 5 years now and they have never disappointed. Although not the cheapest around and not very pretentious either, the service is very personal and the staff very attentive and keen to spontaneously celebrate birthdays with a small traditional song show. I would recommend the Ceviche and the Cordero Huanuqueño (chef is from Huanuco)

Cosy Peruvian restaurant with a wide menu and variety of soft and alcoholic regional beverage options. Visited on a quiet Saturday afternoon in Sep 2024 and tried the chicha morada with the ox heart anticuchos. This came artfully presented and with a generous amount of yellow and green sauces. It was delicious, but you may need to ask for sharper knife for dealing with the ox hearts! Hope to return to try the mains one day.

Como peruano que vive en el extranjero, es difícil encontrar un lugar que se sienta como en casa. Tierra Perú tiene la calidez tradicional de un restaurante peruano, complementado con comida increíble, y acompañado de deliciosos pisco sours. Su Cordero Huanuqueño es bastante especial, ya que la receta proviene de la madre del dueño de Huánuco, Perú. Sus ceviches están muy bien hechos y bien servidos también. Todos los que trabajan allí tienen una gran energía y añaden mucho a la experiencia. He estado allí un par de veces y volveré de nuevo seguro.

Average food. Nothing special. I was overcharged by £15. Staff kept rushing us. The staff were rushing us to pay so I didn’t realize until after I left. Wont be back.

Lovely place, the staff were all friendly and attentive, I got the bento box and it was delicious and more than enough by itself, even if a little pricey.

A local favourite with a lovely chilled atmosphere. We ordered starters and mains to share, and experimented with the grilled ox heart skewer - it was delicious. Their purple maize juice is worth trying too.

My first sojourn into Peruvian food and can’t fault a single dish. Well priced and fantastic personable service. My only regret is not arriving more hungry so I could try more things. We will be back

The restaurant is in an up-market part of town with a "real" pub nearby: the Myddleton arms. We ate at lunchtime and there was plenty of room, and the owners were kind enough to turn the music down. My starter, ox hearts on skewers was delicious if rather generous. My second course was "aji", ok but really just a chicken korma. My fellow diners were happy with their choices and it was accompanied by a pleasant Peruvian Malbec.
