Really nice restaurant. Staff are exceptionally nice and friendly . Try their cutlets of lamb. We all loved our dishes and try their Peruvian Merlot …. Delicious

Great food, always fresh. And buffet on weekends totally worth it

My family and I stopped by Tierra Peru a few weeks ago and we could not believe how incredible everything was! I was traveling with my 80 year old father, brother and cousin (all Peruvian) and we were missing some authentic Peruvian food on the last night of our London trip. I found this restaurant on TikTok and I'm so happy I saved it and got to eat here. The owner was incredibly nice and shared all the history around his journey to the UK and how the restaurant came about. What I loved the most was how authentic the decor was, along with the music and videos playing. It truly felt like we were in Peru. Not to mention how delicious every single dish was. Moving forward I will recommend this restaurant to anyone I know visiting London. Muchas gracias por toda la atencion de todo corazon!

We celebrated my partner’s birthday here, and it was our first time diving into Peruvian cuisine. The whole experience was fantastic. The staff was not only incredibly friendly but also went out of their way to explain each dish, helping us pick out some amazing options. They even chatted with us about Peruvian culture, which added a nice personal touch. The food? Outstanding. The ox heart starter was genuinely one of the best things I’ve tasted in ages, and the ceviche was super fresh and bursting with flavor. The cocktails were spot on too – we had a pisco sour that was perfectly balanced and delightfully strong. The ambience was cozy and felt almost homely, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion. While it wasn’t a cheap meal, the quality absolutely justified it. A special mention to the staff for making my partner’s day extra special with a little Peruvian memento – such a thoughtful touch!

Great location for food and drinks. Very welcoming, the staff made great suggestions and coming on a Sunday I went for the cerviche & buffet. Oh and the pisco sours are definitely about 40% alcoholic 😆 and taste delicious!

Good, fast and pleasant service

Cosy Peruvian restaurant with a wide menu and variety of soft and alcoholic regional beverage options. Visited on a quiet Saturday afternoon in Sep 2024 and tried the chicha morada with the ox heart anticuchos. This came artfully presented and with a generous amount of yellow and green sauces. It was delicious, but you may need to ask for sharper knife for dealing with the ox hearts! Hope to return to try the mains one day.

This is for me one the best authentic Peruvian restaurants in London. I've been visiting this place for about 5 years now and they have never disappointed. Although not the cheapest around and not very pretentious either, the service is very personal and the staff very attentive and keen to spontaneously celebrate birthdays with a small traditional song show. I would recommend the Ceviche and the Cordero Huanuqueño (chef is from Huanuco)

First time having Peruvian food based of a recommendation from someone from Peru living here, my goodness so good! Highly recommend the Arroz con mariscos and Huanchaco, and service was fast and great too ✨

As a Peruvian living abroad, it is hard to find a place that feels like home. Tierra Peru has the traditional warmth of a Peruvian restaurant, complemented by amazing food, and sided with delicious pisco sours. Their Cordero Huanuqueño (Lamb) is quite special, as the recipe comes from the owner's mom back in Huánuco, Perú. Their ceviches are very well done and well-served as well. Everyone that works there has a great energy and add a lot to the experience. I have been there a couple of times and will come back again for sure.

Average food. Nothing special. I was overcharged by £15. Staff kept rushing us. The staff were rushing us to pay so I didn’t realize until after I left. Wont be back.

Incredible food and drinks. I had a starter of ox tongue and classical ceviche for main and all food was delicious. Recommend to try Peruvian beer and piscos

The food was lovely Pisco sour on point, not like other places in London. I tried ají de gallina and lomo saltado, it was delicious just like I remember it. Very pricey tho just like any other london restaurant

Lovely place, the staff were all friendly and attentive, I got the bento box and it was delicious and more than enough by itself, even if a little pricey.

An incredible meal, the service was exceptional.

A local favourite with a lovely chilled atmosphere. We ordered starters and mains to share, and experimented with the grilled ox heart skewer - it was delicious. Their purple maize juice is worth trying too.

My first sojourn into Peruvian food and can’t fault a single dish. Well priced and fantastic personable service. My only regret is not arriving more hungry so I could try more things. We will be back

The best Peruvian experience in London. Don Julio is very kind and the food is amazing . I recommend the arroz con mariscos y ceviche.

The restaurant is in an up-market part of town with a "real" pub nearby: the Myddleton arms. We ate at lunchtime and there was plenty of room, and the owners were kind enough to turn the music down. My starter, ox hearts on skewers was delicious if rather generous. My second course was "aji", ok but really just a chicken korma. My fellow diners were happy with their choices and it was accompanied by a pleasant Peruvian Malbec.

It's the best authentic Peruvian restaurant. I go there every time I miss home and our food. My non-Peruvian friends love it as well.

We enjoyed the food and the restaurant, in general, very much. Cesar and his team are very cordial and attentive. I have been there several times and the quality has not changed at all. I like that it is traditional Peruvian food and some eclectic version. Probably, I would like to see more fish dishes in the menu such as pescado a lo macho or pescado a la chorrillana. Nevertheless, what they have is great.

Most of London’s Peruvian restaurants are over hyped! This one is a great local serving delicious, wonderfully flavoured, authentic food at reasonable prices. A great find if you’re looking for this type of fare! Give it a try!

We went there a few years back. For UK this is probably the most approximate in taste to Peruvian food, (which quite frankly is very difficult to reproduce outside of Peru, as it's so great, fresh and tasty). The Pisco-souer 🍸 flagship cocktail was very nice - be prepared to pay London prices for the drinks. For the delight of Peruvians they do offer the famous Inka Kola.

Amazing food and the best service. Everyone here is so nice, and the food delicious. Also very well priced for quality and quantity. We went here to celebrate a birthday and they even came out singing with the dessert. One of my favourite places in London.

Can’t really say as we had to go to Ecuador next door instead - A booking for our party of seven got trumped by the whole place being booked out without telling us that but had happened Tjeh did have a email with contact number h- Luckily the next door one with Ecuadorean food was not too busy to rearrange tables and squeeze us in Their food and service was brilliant and they quickly found a cup cake and candle for the birthday boy so we were happy - Peru was not missed -

I was waiting to photograph a wedding at Islington town hall, I needed somewhere to refresh, the staff here were so quick and lovely, and the chai latte was lovely.

I really wanted to like it... However: Starters - a plate of plain boiled cold potatoes with the same sauce as on everything else (not spicy and not a hot dish) - tasted as boring as it sounds. £9.50? Seriously? Grilled hearts were actually very good, but we ordered a different dish. Ceviche - I had ceviche several times before and always loved it - I'm a big fan. Or I was, not sure any more. Here, they were disgusting - the fish was of a wrong type, seemed to be cod, and it was not cut into neat pieces, but tore into horrible bits, with sinews - horrible texture. On the top of it, it was not seasoned - I couldn't eat it and if this was my first ceviche, I wouldn't have tried it ever again. Casava and cheese bread was actually very nice. Corn and cheese was just plain corn (the same as on every dish), mixed with feta crumbs - a cold dish - definitely not recommended. Altogether very disappointing.

It gets very busy, as they tried to cramp as many customers as they can. People waiting for a table are left near the bar, while waiters are trying to get rid of seated customer, rushing them and bringing the bill to the table when wasn't even asked for it. It would be a nice place if they weren't too greedy and try to get more customers that they can allocate tables to.

The food is really tasty and genuine, seems like cooked at home! Generous portions we couldn't finish them all and asked for take away. The Pisco Sour cocktail is amazing too. Good value for money also and the athmosphere is authentic and friendly.

I booked a table for two on Saturday night. My wife and I we were happy to check the Peruvian restaurant. We arrived on time. The place was not full at the time. We are Latinos so the waiter took us to the table close to the bar. We asked if we could change the table as it was very unpleasant and close to the toilets, people walking passed constantly. People coming and go, but the waiter said no as they were busy, although there were empty tables. We went through the night and there was another latino couple been guided to the other table next to the bathroom. I have noticed that Latin couples where given the ugly tables, and the english customers the best location in the restaurant. Also we spent £150 that night, however the staff tried to push us out of the restaurant, in a rush as it got busy. Taking everything away from the table, bringing the bill to us, without even asking for it, making us fill uncomfortable. Is a shame that between Latin people we are discriminating against each other. Never again first and last.

A little treasure spot in a heart of Islington!!! We are 2 coriander haters, in this place we ate all the coriander sauce and licked our knives . Super delicious food. Very friendly staff. And of course their wine!!!. The best choice for rainy day in London!!!

We went here for our anniversary. Brilliant restaurant and very authentic Peruvian food my wife (who is Peruvian) and myself were very impressed with the anticuchos, with the little Peruvian corn, which tasted just like those you get in Peru. We also loved the Chicha morada which we missed so much and is basically impossible to get here. With the music and decoration for a small moment we forgot we were in London and thought we were again in Lima 🇵🇪

This restaurant is amazing. Me and my boyfriend have been several times. The hospitality and warmth they offer is typically South American and the food is absolutely amazing at a great price point.

Pricey for what you get but authentic. Service for paying the bill was very very slow (40 minutes from first person paid to last person paid)

Visited with friends for catch up dinner. My food was tasty, although the size was a touch small for the price point. The coffee is great. The service however was quite slow and all our food came out at different times (with pretty large gaps). I think improved service will increase the all round experience.
