Review of Gup Shup Chit Chat Chai Gup Shup Chit Chat Chai, located on clock House Lane/Collier Row Road, offers Indian/Pakistani street food with a unique twist. The restaurant's hospitality and customer service are commendable, with staff being consistently polite and accommodating. Despite occasional busyness, the service remains efficient, and food is well-prepared and served promptly. While the prices are slightly higher, the quality of food and service justifies the cost. Parking can be challenging, although free parking is available on side streets after 5pm. The atmosphere is trendy and family-friendly, and takeaway options are available.

Best Indian around the area, always lovely food, super friendly welcoming Restuarant, we are regulars here, no other Indian restuarant comes close food wise. Photo taken very early one weekday eve hence no other tables in yet

Super cafe, friendly staff, huge portions, food is tasty, can sit in or outside, fully recommend. It's a must visit.

Service and food were both great. Incredibly accommodating with food requests and staff very helpful.

Love this place, but please change your opening times on Google, as I just went to get a chicken chow mein and you are closed AGAIN

They have given me old reheated chips twice in a row now. Very disappointing. However the Cod and sausage in batter is always good. No issues with that

Always order from here on justeat. Food is always good quality, great value for money, never any issues with delivery. Definitely the best chinese takeaway in the area. Thanks silver sea EDIT: it seems every other takeaway in the area has decided to double their prices with some charging almost £10 for a single portion of chicken chow mein? I have no idea wtf they're thinking but silver sea is by far the best value (and still the best quality) so I'll continue ordering from here and nowhere else :D

Food was poor, Mac and cheese had no cheese so just mac, wagyu beef sliders no way was that wagyu beef and the buns were completely stale and rock hard. And the chicken shich couldnt of been more basic if it tried. Poor effort

Having booked a table for 10 weeks in advance we arrived to be directed to a back room. No table had been set, the welcomer didn't even follow to show us out seats, leaving a colleague who clearly wasn't expecting us. Place was so hot we had to keep going all the way back to stand outside - in December. Obviously no idea how to use the aircon. Roasts were generally good but the dishes and presentation of the food brought the term "Dog's dinner" to mind, or snouts in the trough.

I wanted a takeaway and delivered (5 people) , but there wasn't any prices on the menu. Shame, good reviews as well.

Delivery was on time. Food was tasty and not oily. Enjoyed and will use again.

Be warned does not say it online but only 21+ but has 14 year olds standing outside! Made the effort to try for anniversary drinks F 20 Male 21 security are so lovely and checked id and let us in but female bar staff wouldn’t let us drink after already going past security?! Don’t bother going here try somewhere else instead and save your money and time
