My husband and I visited this place tonight and ordered a small amount of food but the owner was very kind hearted who gave me one other curry for free. Thanks guys! You are doing a great job 👏👏👏 and food was delicious as well because it was made according to my Indian taste ( the dish I ordered was little sweet according to English customers' taste but they especially managed some ingredients and served us)

First time using The Vindaloo, which is literally on our doorstep. Absolutely bloody gorgeous food. We just had the tandoori mixed karahi, chicken passanda and chicken masala. Also, sag paneer, bombay potato, onion bhajee, garlic naan and keema naan. Everything was perfect, freshly prepared, great tasting food and generous portions. Staff are great, friendly with some good banter thrown in. Looking forward to next time! Our now new local favourite Indian 👍🏻

Highly recommend the main dishes and side dishes, don’t worry about ordering starters as they are hit and miss. But the portions are big for family dinners. Biriani portions are good also. My go to place

This is the WORST Indian I have ever had. I ordered butter chicken and these clowns gave me chicken korma. I have never ordered from an Indian restaurant and the butter chicken be yellow WITH COCONUT BITS. Absolutely disgusting and tasteless. I do believe because I’m not Indian they tried to lie and say that’s ‘authentic’ Indian butter chicken. They should be ashamed of themselves . And I hope they get shut down. Spent £22 on food I could not eat. Do NOT order from here. They cook what they like and lie to you that’s what you ordered. Unbelievable.

I ordered a chicken korma and it was spicy. The restaurant delivered me another one but it was obviously from the same batch as that was spicy too! I’m not sure if they have changed the chef but after using this restaurant for years I will no longer be ordering from here. It really is a shame

Perfect curry after day at work. I didn’t want to cook and got a tasty speedy dinner cooked to perfection. 100% recommend

I normally order a pathia and I’ve got to say this is one of the best I’ve ever had and have never had a bad meal from here 🤷‍♂️Superb Indian 👍

Use the vindaloo all the time can't fault them one bit

Vindaloo had been a regular takeout choice for use over the last year or so, recently we’ve seen a vast change in its quality of food delivered via its take away service, our last takeaway delivery had 2 ordered items missing from the delivery and the overall quality of the food was very disappointing and inedible for us and thrown away. Unfortunately we will be no longer using this restaurant for takeaway delivery.

Always happy with the food, tasty and hot when it arrives.

Would have been OK after night out, unfortunately we were having a night in. Quite disappointed, just an average, fairly bland Meal with too much oil. Wasn't worth the money, even with the £10 Uber discount.

Just had a meal from here. 5 starters, yet I only got 1 sauce and 1 salad. If u can call it that, spent £56 and the food was so small that it only feed 1 person. I will never be getting it again. Never have I spent so much money for such little food. Every starter comes with salad and mint sauce from every Indian. Never again will I pay adult prices for children's portions. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves!!!! DON'T pay high prices for a snack, DON'T ORDER from here!!!

Lovely Indian takeaway, been coming here for years and no problems. Staff are really nice and friendly and food is great! The lamb sag is delicious - must try!!

Wonderful varied dishes ordered from an interesting menu. Each dish had it's own flavour (most Indian takeaway meals have a generic gravy/sauce that is added to). For mains we had the Vegetable Dhansak (vegetables cooked al dente just how we like them), Chicken Saag & Telapia Bhuna, the fish was so tender. Mushroom Bhaji, almost meaty in flavour. The mixed platter was such good value, good quality. All dishes not swarmed in ghee either. Lamb Samosa & Onion Bhaji, again not greasy & good flavour. Highly recommend.

I have been a customer of theirs for 20 years the service they provide is excellent, the food is extremely tasteful every time we order the food is spot on their chicken tikka biryani is a must so mouthwatering the tikka pieces are nice and soft, king prawn buna has a distinctive taste you have to taste it to believe it so thumps up to vindaloo.

Ordered from here years ago but thought I’d give it another go as was starving and its so close to me. Curry was watery and naan missing. Phoned and said they would send it out 40 mins later its still not here!

So, this has bot happened the first time! Customer service over the phone is always so good. But as sweet as they talk, they're cheaters. Don't get fooled by their sweet talks. I so regret not ordering using Just eat or Uber eats or I would have gotten my money back. Shameless Takeaway? I have a video of the food too. I sent them all photos etc via my Dad's Facebook and no reply was received. The Paneer tikka starter was burnt and was rock hard!!! The keema nan had no keema and massive holes in it/it was literally burnt and tasted burnt. Same with the Peshwari nan. Starters of kebabs was a nightmare and raw. Dont want to explain the rest and waste my time. - they did such behaviour in the past I was foolish to order again, I hoped they changed after reading reviews, but they haven't.

One of the waste take away in near by.. I ordered food and received the after 1:33 minutes which was so cold and horrible test ... i dumped it in the bin.. Stay away from the take away don’t through your money in the bin....

Food here always good. Nice friendly staff too. You can even watch them cooking your meals. Have used on many occasions. They deliver too via just eat.

Always good food, always delivered in around 30 minutes, food always arrives hot. Phone orders are taken by a charming chap. Our 'usual' is a chicken madras and a chicken shashlik, but have ordered the prawn saag, chicken tikka, onion bahjees (three!), bombay potatoes. Food is not ridiculously hot and is full of flavour. You always receive poppadoms and dips in addition to your order and free drinks if you spend more. Also opens at 5pm so I'm no longer waiting until late to order my dinner!

Not good - I had ordered from here once before and it was ok but when I ordered yesterday it was really poor. The jalfrezi was just like a very plain tomato sauce with a big bit of onion, a few chillies and about 4 small pieces of chicken; hardly anything to it. The mushroom bhaji was so greasy I had to spoon the grease off the top myself. I rang them and they sent a different dish but this was bland and not enjoyable at all. I then spent the rest of the night needing the toilet, which continued for the next 24 hours. Waste of time and money.

Ordered meal and have to say it was excellent.Food was piping hot when it arrived.There were extras given poppadoms 3 dips at no extra cost.I would recommend this takeaway as the quality and quantity was excellent.

I had been a previous regular customer some 10+ years ago and always enjoyed the food. I thought I'd give it a go and I was not disappointed!! Food arrived when it was due to. Delivered with a smile from an extremely well mannered gentleman. Will definitely be spending my hard earned money here again. Lovely!

I have been looking for a decent Indian takeaway in Romford for sometime and this establishment was recommended to me by a work colleague. We ordered £40 worth of food for 3 of us (reasonably priced and a free bottle of coke), but when the food arrived we were bitterly disappointed. I had ordered a Balti which I had asked to be spiced up Bangladesh style on the comments section when ordering. Not only was this dish not spicy, it was watery and lacked meat. I counted 7 pieces of lamb, which is pretty stingy by anyone's standards. My partner ordered a Chicken Tikka Dopiaza which was advertised as being medium heat, but had no heat whatsoever. We had similar issues with the Chilli kebab roll, one of which was not chilli at all and the other just contained a few token fresh chillies at the bottom of the roll, no heat of chilli infused into the meat as one would expect. Although the rice and naan break were generally of a good standard this could not make up for the main dishes. This is slightly perplexing as the person who recommended did feel that the standard of food generally was high. This was not my experience.....new chef perhaps? I could not justify going back to this place as are far better ways to spend your hard earned cash in Romford. You will know who I am as I was order number 50 on the 04/05/2019.

By far the best indian takaway in Romford, their food is delicious you must try their lamb dhansak and chicken chaat. Quality, clean and fresh home cooked food. Love it

This place is 20mins drive from me, even then I go there for their lovely food and friendly staff.

It a absolutely amazing curry place been having take away from them ever since they were open it always a pleasure to go and order a curry and have a friendly chat with the management & stuf. Food has always been to it standard absolutely delicious. I would recommend people to go and try it out.

Ordered tonight and in every mouthful of chicken I had gristle. Real let down and put me off my meal and had to leave the rest of the meal. Chicken shouldn't be gristly when you are paying a reasonable price for a decent meal
