Had a great visit to GupShup today. Thank you to Mo and his team for the delicious freshly prepared meals , wonderful ambience and professional customer service. Every time I visit , the quality remains high.

Highly Recommend: Aloo Paratha, Desi Breakfast, Samosa Chaat, Karachi Bun Kebab, Dahi Puri, Loaded Poppadoms, Knafeh French Toast, Smash Burger and Keema Nachos! And well everything 🤣 I’m a regular at Gup Shup and go frequently - This charming cafe captures the essence of bustling South Asian streets and a fusion of Indian dishes and Pakistani dishes whilst providing a cosy spot for a brunch date or a evening dinner. The perfect spot for families and friends.

After hearing and reading some reviews- decided to dine in one day. So, we went down there and sat comfortably. Had to ask for the Menu and we took some time to read the large menu. When were ready to order- no-one could be seen around to take the order. Then we waited almost four minutes to order. The server seems to be unaware the existence of some of the food on the menu. Anyway- we ordered and food came to the table after a while, started eating but no sauces/chutneys came along the mixed grill food. Had to wait to ask whether any sauces comes with the Mixed Grill, Dahi Puri, Loaded Chips & other foods we ordered? Server apologise and brought some Chutneys in a tray. The Chutneys were bland and we were better off without those Chutneys. [Heinz Tomato Ketchup would have been better instead of the Chutneys provided] In the Mixed Grill, Seekh Kebabs were not good, somewhat tasteless and broken but the rest of the food were okay. We had the Dahi Puri at the end and that was soggy, as we didn't realise this item should be eaten as early as possible but the server could have also made us aware (from serving experience) as the restaurant was not busy at that time. Sadly, it wasn't worth of a 44 miles round trip.

The food tasted okay. Karak chai was milky. Service by Arshia was good.

Great food and great experience

Came on the 31st of May. Ordered a chicken cheese toastie and Karachi bun kebab burger meal. The chicken cheese toastie was delicious, just the right amount of spice, and enough crunch to be a toastie. The Karachi bun kebab burger had a tenderness to it that almost reminded me of back home. The chips were crunchy, you can tell the wait was worth it. Everything was freshly cooked. The virgin mohito was perfect, not too sweet. Great enthusiastic staff as well. All in all felt very welcome. Would love to return again.

Food was 💯💯💯 Double English breakfast. I have been to a few cafes, but this is the best so far. The egg on sourdough bread was something I have never had before. It was an excellent touch and tasted amazing, delicious, the hashbrowns perfect and cooked well, mushrooms were 💯 not burnt at all. Im not to keen on onions but even the onions was very nice and crunchy. 5***** Recommend. Only minor issue would be parking. Will definitely be revisit this place though.

We went for lunch and the hostess, Arshia was very friendly and helpful. We ordered Chicken Tikka rice box, Spicy Chicken Burger 🍔 and (kids meal) cheese burger 🍔. The food was of high quality and Arshia asked us about the quality of the food and if we needed anything. The ambience was also very pleasant and relaxing. Definitely recommend for small and large groups (families or friends)

Had a slight issue with my order it was a take away some of the items were missing from my order which I wasn’t pleased about the following day I contact the store spoke with viks and everything was rectified and the missing items where replaced which is much appropriated so it’s good to know that they listen to the customer and was able to turn a negative experience in to a positive one we are all human and can make mistakes look forward to our next visit 👌🏾

We had a great experience .Tried the samosa chaat and pav bhaji, and both dishes really hit the spot. Service was friendly and fast, and the ambiance was cozy and welcoming. If you’re craving authentic Indian street food, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Been here a couple of time now. The street food is really good, we really liked the pakoras and the chaat. The desi breakfast could be better - the parathas were more like frozen rotis not parathas and the omelette could have been bigger/thicker- without charging for a bit of peppers. Other than that, the staff are welcoming and the vibe is nice too. 👍

We come here very often like almost every week we came today with our kids and it’s vik who address us and he is really amazing we never saw him before, he done his best to make us happy, we also bought something which is not in our mind just because he motivated us that strong to have extra food 😂 . Star boy ,really amazing taste as usual.

Today i walked in with my partner and ordered 3 meet samosas the restaurant was busy and after wait we got it and sadly they are very oil , we spoke to the guy on front I think vika , we spoke in a very gentle manner to solve the issue we felt valued . He took feedback and said he will convey to chef.veg samosas are amazing 🤩.

Getting better, Not proper authentic taste.

This place has been open for 2 years and I’ve been meaning to go for a while and haven’t. Popped in today. Service by Vikaas was top tier. Friendly, attentive and prompt. The food by far has been one of the best halal breakfast cafes I have been too. Better than chai wala by the way and better than morals (Ilford) Their milk cake has to be one of the best restaurant milk I have tried.

Great service and delicious food. We were greeted by Mo who was extremely welcoming. He took us through the menu and specials as it was our first time here. Food arrived in good time, kids meals first and then ours. There's a great choice of Indian street food, kebabs and brunch. Food was really great. Thanks for a great experience.

Wanted to come here for a while now, always saw it on the socials so was abit sceptic however I wish I came here earlier, food is amazing, staff are very welcoming, the place has a very nice vibe, will be my new go to when I eat out

I came to Gupshup for breakfast. I have never tasted Desi breakfast better than here. The boss chef came out to serve us personally and put a smile on our faces. The boss lady also gave us an off-menu drink which was so good. Definitely recommend!

We visited with our family and were warmly welcomed. The hostess was incredibly kind and attentive, always checking if we needed anything. The interior was impressive as well, perfect for taking daylight photos. At one point, our baby began crying, and we thought we might have to leave midway through brunch. However, the service lady kindly stepped in, took care of him, and allowed us to enjoy our meal. It was such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you—we’ll definitely be returning soon!

During our trip from Amsterdam, visiting Gup Shup was the highlight! The food was incredible, the chai unmatched, and the service truly exceptional. A friendly young lady made us feel so welcome with her attentive care. We even took their cups home as souvenirs—a perfect reminder of this amazing experience...

All of the food we had was amazing, most of all the delicious perfect chai! Exactly how it should be. The Mumbai pav bhaji had such a nice soft flavour, the samosas and pakoras we crunchy and flavourful. The freshly made jalebi's were so tasty and crispy. Arshia was so extremely friendly and we had a homely feeling and will absolutely be a regular customer here from now on.

I came to Gupp Shup in Collier Row for the first time with my daughter and the food here was amazing. We were served by Arshia who was amazing, so friendly and polite. We even had the privilege to be serve complimentary non-alcoholic mojito from the boss lady her self, again amazing and humble. I loved the entire experience - I wasn’t sure if I wanted their chai tea and the boss gave us a taster, what an amazing service - loved it will definitely be back!!! If you are looking for a great place with good food, great atmosphere and friendly staff with great customer service, this is the place for you!

Our family of four visited the Gupp Shup on Friday for breakfast and it was amazing. Our two children ordered the Nutella wrap and the children's mini breakfast and they enjoyed it. We ordered the French toast and the chit chat double English breakfast and not a scrap was left, it was all delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant is uniquely and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be returning!

First time visit to Gup Shup and we experienced great food and even better customer service which made our evening all the more pleasant. Papri chaat and masala chips were a perfect start and the kanafeh milk cake was a lovely way to end the meal. A special thank you to the hostess and her attentive, warm and helpful service with a smile.

We came here with our 2 children for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to cater to our children and made them feel really special. We had 2 kids mini English breakfasts which were absolutely huge for such a good price. We also ordered One big daddy breakfast and one chit chat double English breakfast which safe to say we’re so so filling and definitely lived up to the name! We will definitely be back.
