Highly Recommend: Aloo Paratha, Desi Breakfast, Samosa Chaat, Karachi Bun Kebab, Dahi Puri, Loaded Poppadoms, Knafeh French Toast, Smash Burger and Keema Nachos! And well everything 🤣 I’m a regular at Gup Shup and go frequently - This charming cafe captures the essence of bustling South Asian streets and a fusion of Indian dishes and Pakistani dishes whilst providing a cosy spot for a brunch date or a evening dinner. The perfect spot for families and friends.

Food was 💯💯💯 Double English breakfast. I have been to a few cafes, but this is the best so far. The egg on sourdough bread was something I have never had before. It was an excellent touch and tasted amazing, delicious, the hashbrowns perfect and cooked well, mushrooms were 💯 not burnt at all. Im not to keen on onions but even the onions was very nice and crunchy. 5***** Recommend. Only minor issue would be parking. Will definitely be revisit this place though.

Great service and delicious food. We were greeted by Mo who was extremely welcoming. He took us through the menu and specials as it was our first time here. Food arrived in good time, kids meals first and then ours. There's a great choice of Indian street food, kebabs and brunch. Food was really great. Thanks for a great experience.

Nice ambiance and great customer service. Perfect spot for a gup shup (casual chat) with friends or a cozy outing with your partner. We ordered three items - veg samosa, pakoras, and samosa chaat - all served fresh and full of flavour.

Wanted to come here for a while now, always saw it on the socials so was abit sceptic however I wish I came here earlier, food is amazing, staff are very welcoming, the place has a very nice vibe, will be my new go to when I eat out

We visited with our family and were warmly welcomed. The hostess was incredibly kind and attentive, always checking if we needed anything. The interior was impressive as well, perfect for taking daylight photos. At one point, our baby began crying, and we thought we might have to leave midway through brunch. However, the service lady kindly stepped in, took care of him, and allowed us to enjoy our meal. It was such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you—we’ll definitely be returning soon!

I came to Gupshup for breakfast. I have never tasted Desi breakfast better than here. The boss chef came out to serve us personally and put a smile on our faces. The boss lady also gave us an off-menu drink which was so good. Definitely recommend!

All of the food we had was amazing, most of all the delicious perfect chai! Exactly how it should be. The Mumbai pav bhaji had such a nice soft flavour, the samosas and pakoras we crunchy and flavourful. The freshly made jalebi's were so tasty and crispy. Arshia was so extremely friendly and we had a homely feeling and will absolutely be a regular customer here from now on.

I came to Gupp Shup in Collier Row for the first time with my daughter and the food here was amazing. We were served by Arshia who was amazing, so friendly and polite. We even had the privilege to be serve complimentary non-alcoholic mojito from the boss lady her self, again amazing and humble. I loved the entire experience - I wasn’t sure if I wanted their chai tea and the boss gave us a taster, what an amazing service - loved it will definitely be back!!! If you are looking for a great place with good food, great atmosphere and friendly staff with great customer service, this is the place for you!

Our family of four visited the Gupp Shup on Friday for breakfast and it was amazing. Our two children ordered the Nutella wrap and the children's mini breakfast and they enjoyed it. We ordered the French toast and the chit chat double English breakfast and not a scrap was left, it was all delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant is uniquely and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be returning!

We tried the Chaat platter, Pav Bhaji and Chilli paneer - all dishes were really good definitely recommend them all.

First time visit to Gup Shup and we experienced great food and even better customer service which made our evening all the more pleasant. Papri chaat and masala chips were a perfect start and the kanafeh milk cake was a lovely way to end the meal. A special thank you to the hostess and her attentive, warm and helpful service with a smile.

We came here with our 2 children for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to cater to our children and made them feel really special. We had 2 kids mini English breakfasts which were absolutely huge for such a good price. We also ordered One big daddy breakfast and one chit chat double English breakfast which safe to say we’re so so filling and definitely lived up to the name! We will definitely be back.

Gupshup is my favourite go to place. Their food is very delicious and always fresh. I really enjoy their chaat items. Today was my 5th or 6th visit I guess and this time my 4 month old baby was with me. It was so sweet of them especially the lady Arshia who came to us and held my baby so that we can enjoy our food. For a new mummy to enjoy her food it’s indeed a blessing. Thank you GupShup team.

Went here for the 1st time with wife and baby. The lady is very friendly and helpful. We ended up ordering a lot for 2 people and had so much leftover we could have fed 3 adults. All the food was great and really flavourful. Tea was really nice to. 2 areas of improvement. 1st. We went when it wasn't busy, and it took 30 minutes from first dish to last dish to come out. So their was a lot of waiting between. Don't get me wrong. It was worth waiting for. 2nd. Drinks should always be given first. The water bottle came halfway in sitting, and tea came at the end after all food around 30min after first dish came out. Honestly worth price and amazing friendly staff. We will be coming back to try more halal food from here.

Ive always been on the lookout for good halal breakfast spots. This was by far the best beating highly known spots like chaiwallah. Good prices, fresh produce, they even hand make roti etc so tastes fresh like home. English breakfast and the crossover was really good. Chai is unbeatable. Service amazing. I cpuld go on but you get the point. Highly recommend!

Their menu offers a delightful variety, catering to both classic and modern tastes. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who ensured that we had everything we needed. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, adding to the overall experience. It’s rare to find a place that excels in both food and hospitality, but Gup Chut Chai truly delivers on both fronts. Without a doubt, this is the best café in London. I recently visited this café and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was horrible – the masala chips were barely half a box, and the tea was cold and flavorless. To make matters worse, the service was incredibly slow. We ordered an ice cream cone for my son, they didn’t even provide a tissue, so it ended up dripping everywhere. On top of that, I found the prices to be overly high for the quality of food and service provided. Overall, I was really let down and wouldn’t recommend this place."

Good Ambience, Subtle flavors of Indian Asian cuisine, adds charm to the otherwise melancholic towncentre. Tea served here is pipping hot and made fresh, unlike most of restaurants who have gotten used to serving the bland dip tea which has neither taste, nor soul. Give this place a visit, certainly a must try and needs more patrons frequenting such authentic food joints, keep it up Gup Shup team 👍🏼

The food was absolutely terrible. Everything tasted old and stale. The nachos came with frozen popcorn—who even thinks that's a good idea? The Chicken 65 was just plain fried chicken, nothing like what it should be. Honestly, your cook needs serious training because this was one of the worst meals I've had.

Papri chaat is just too good!!! Not an average oily chaat..it was soo fresh yumm And the cheesy toast Also the ambience is lovely, staff is soo accommodating..and very nice

The service in this place is awful. It’s a shame it ruins the experience as the food is decent. We came in& waited to be seated, and the lady at the front was just staring at us, so we had to go at the front to ask for table/waiting time. They told us 40 minutes wait& that the free table was reserved, so we left and walk past 5 mins later to see another table was actually free. Again, service was awful. There were no menus& had to ask the table on the side of us for their menus. We waited 40 minutes for our food and drinks& there were only two of us. It got to point where we asked the lady to at least give our drinks. Not an apology in sight. My aloo baazi was cold. They didn’t ask how the food was. The service really ruins it. But the lady was being extremely nice to table on side of us& asking them for 5 star reviews. It was our first time coming here so not sure what her issue was but really ruined our experience. If the service was better I’d rate it 4 stars. The service and communication really needs work.

Had the chit chat English breakfast and the chit chat crossover. The French toast with Nutella and fruits was quite nice as was the orange juice. However quite disappointed with the rest as the beans came out cold and had to get them reheated. Rashers and eggs were also lukewarm/cold and ended up leaving half of it.

I can only advise the owners of this restaurant to ditch Just Eat because they are parasites who make your business look bad. they offer no customer service and provide misleading status updates throughout the process.
