Amazing cafe, very cozy ambiance is warm and inviting. Perfect for relaxing meal or catching up with friends. I had karak chai and it was very good. Also there chaat and breakfast is delicious. highly recommend

Had the chit chat English breakfast and the chit chat crossover. The French toast with Nutella and fruits was quite nice as was the orange juice. However quite disappointed with the rest as the beans came out cold and had to get them reheated. Rashers and eggs were also lukewarm/cold and ended up leaving half of it.

Had a lovely time with the family here, breakfast was great, nice aesthetic interior, Arshia was very kind and friendly, overall great experience will be returning thanks

I can only advise the owners of this restaurant to ditch Just Eat because they are parasites who make your business look bad. they offer no customer service and provide misleading status updates throughout the process.

Such a lovely find in Romford. Came by with my friend and we weren’t disappointed. We went for the non-veg thaal and it was amazing. It comes with a great selection of food and karak chai and it was really filling too- don’t be deceived by the portions in each pot. The pakoras, papri chaat, seekh kebab and chicken 65 were really flavoursome and the lamb samosas are huge with a generous filling. The masala chips have more of a sweet chilli flavour than spicy but that’s a personal preference. The gulab jamun and karak chai were perfect, I wish the teapot was bigger! We ordered knafah french toast for dessert (as if the thaal wasn’t filling enough)! and it was probably one of the best French toasts I’ve had- really soft and buttery toast with a nice crunch from the knafah topping. The lychee mojito and blue lagoon mojito were also really lovely with a strong flavour. Really cute place with lovely decor inside and a really homely feel to it. It can get very busy, especially on the weekends but it’s well worth the wait. The waitress is also very upfront with waiting times which is really helpful. Really reasonable prices too, the thaal was only £25 for 2 people and between us both we spent less than £50. All the food is also halal. We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu!

The food is super tasty and delicious especially the lamb chop and the Tikka, I love them; the service is excellent also, very friendly and ready to help. If you’re closer to the door/window on a sunny day, there’s no blind to protect you from the sun. They should look into that.

Absolutely phenomenal breakfast with a warm friendly service. Everything was perfectly cooked and perfectly flavoured. Clearly made with love. The pistachio French toast was the best I have ever had, complete with soft serve ice cream, and the double English breakfast was spot on! Great coffee, and the caramel chai was delicious. We were even given a free sample of a chick pea curry, for feedback, which was also spot on, very smooth, balanced flavours, and not too spicy! Can’t recommend highly enough! Food took a while to come even though we were the only couple in the restaurant. However, the food did make up for it double smash burger was made to perfection and the somosa chat was nice albeit missing the hint of mint sauce. Karak chai on the go was very hot and nice. Overall will defo recommend and coming back to even though it means waiting around for a while.

This restaurant got my order mixed up and I ended up not eating breakfast !! Just Eats have been informed but they are very poor at dealing with these things from previous experiences. I called the restaurant and they say the driver has mixed up the order but on looking it's the shop.

Travelled 40mins to taste food after reading reviews and honestly hand on heart was not disappointed and definitely will make the trip again. Family and I had mixture of English and desire meals, all met our needs. So full and so happy.
