Love this place, but please change your opening times on Google, as I just went to get a chicken chow mein and you are closed AGAIN

Lived in collier row for over 25 years, always my preferred Chinese and chip shop. Placed a large order for my 50th birthday party this weekend and the food was spot on, all family and friends remarked how good it was and were very happy. Quality food and service!

Only had £1.70 pence in change, so couldn't sample the sausage in batter that I wanted,it was £2 so I'll wait till next pay day.

I have just been to this chip shop and asked for a large cod and they told me they never had any but they did have 1 large cod and so I ask for medium cod and they gave me the smallest cod going in which they had loads of medium cod there so this is disgusting and a rip off they are conning people so I will never be going here again so please don't go to this fish and chip shop the prices are disgusting and the food is not worth the prices I have been ripped off by this chip shop

I've been looking for a decent chippy in the Romford area. In my opinion this is the one. The shop is nothing fancy but the food is tip top. Quality chips, quality batter on quality fish. Price is decent too. Food is always hot and never soggy like some of it's peers.

Due to covid restrictions, only two allowed inside the premises. This is clearly signed on the outside window. But sadly some members of the public are either blind or just choose to ignore the safety of the staff and other patrons. Other than that, food is served quickly and with friendly customer service.

Where to begin. Nestled on the edge of civilization "Sea Fresh" - Chase Cross stands as the last bastion marking the entrance to the deep of Essex. A respite for weary travellers on their way from the big city after making, or wasting their fortune. Their culinary delights marvel the most seasoned of chip shop conisures. Like a siren from the shores of Rhodes she calls, with promises of a battered sausage, with chips and a buttered roll to boot. The staff feed the town of Romford keeping the working market town engine well oiled with lashings of vinegar, and a dusting of salt. The only thing missing is the white pepper. Though is it missing? Or was it never meant to be there. Absent as a firm reminder that you cannot improve on perfection, or improve/detract on a batter recipe handed down through generations, with roots tracing themselves back to the lost city of Atlantis itself. Bravo Sea Fresh. You have done Havering proud.

Had 2 spring rolls had to wait for the 15 minutes but they are fantastic large full of prawns and meat hand made not frozen like so many others

I have probably gone to sea fresh 20 times over the last 8 years. Decent chippy. The staff are sweet and friendly. The Chinese food is not the best, I find the standard fried rice is a bit bland so i just go for the Malaysian fried rice.

Good quality alway fresh and hot. Never had a bad meal. Same owners for many years now. Would not be there that long if they did not deliver quality food.

Chips are never cooked properly, rice was hard, staff are rude. They got my order wrong and refused to change it until the third time I went back and complained. Didn’t even replace with fresh just removed the unwanted items out of the container and then gave it back to me. The food was snatched from my hand. They wouldn’t apologise for their mistake. Will not be ordering from them again. Would NOT recommend. Order else where

This is my local chippy and I go there regularly. The staff are always friendly. The food is always nice and hot and is not too expensive. I normally go for minced beef and onion pie with chips and have never had any problems. I have also had Chinese from there which was also very good.

This place used to be the best. But now its gone to pot. There pies are not hot. Thay get them from the fridge and just dump them in the hot tray at top of fryers. Y are thay not cooked first. It never used to be like that and chips. You get more tiney crispy bits than you get chips. Sausages are not cooked.not imprest its just not good.

I always get my chips and Chinese Takeaway from Sea Fresh, and the staff is always friendly.

Seafresh is an excellent place with friendly staff first class fish n Chips and chinese takeaway always of highest quality .my only criticism is a smaller portion of chips would suit me better !
