The best restaurants in Stanmore Park Harrow London

Have just returned from a fabulous meal at Bistro 101. The restaurant is small and intimate - a far cry from the busy restaurants we usually go to just down the road in Hatch End. The atmosphere is perfect for a quiet meal as a couple - a great way to wind down and enjoy good food after the working day. The menu is simple without an excessive choice of dishes - Gordon Ramsay would definitely approve. We opted for the Cote de Bouef for 2 from the Specials menu. This is cooked to order and well worth the wait. All of the serving staff were pleasant and helpful, particularly Nikki. We are looking forward to our next visit and can recommend this restaurant highly.

This spot is big enough to accommodate lots of diners. The dance floor is good. The music choice, DKP and singer is good music . Unfortunately the sound system is not designed correctly for the venue. The volume is much too high above the safe decibels and rooms echo due to not properly sound acoustic design and calculations. The walls must have some acoustic materials fitted to absorb the high volume. In fact the noise of music is not safe and too high volume compared to number of people attending. I would take my ear defenders with me next time and only communicate with my friends using text messages. You can not hear yourself due to this unhealthy sound system.

I knew this place would be good when I saw people having a smoke sesh outside with some espresso. Pollo alla Barracudda was fire and idk what they cooked the carrots in but they were like garlicky and leng. Got a Moretti too which they have on draught. Only mark down in giving them is the potatoes which were a bit dry and undercooked, don’t do potatoes if they’re not your strong suit. Who comes to an Italian restaurant and asks for potatoes? Tbf probs on me for not getting a pasta. Also there was a party going on upstairs and these kids were yelling, which isn’t the restaurant fault but I feel they could do with a bit of music or something for ambience. Anyway ts was banging, if you’re in Stanmore you could do a whole lot worse

Excellent fish and chips - always reliable. Go 3 or 4 times a year - usually end up taking half the fish home. Equally enjoyed fish in batter and in matza meal, and grilled plaice also delicious.

I have been going here for over two decades now. The food is always fantastic, the portions are large and the family who owns it always seem friendly and polite.

Today I went to this cafe in Stanmore for the first time! I recommend, this place is so warm and welcoming, starting from the service that is very attentive, to the food that is in line with the price and quality! 5/5

This is a fantastic cafe. Been coming here for years with the family. Every time the food and service is superb. The welcoming and friendly Anna is an asset to the place. Wouldn’t be the same without her. Looking forward to next time. Odi.

Thoroughly recommend Northwood Wenzels. Staff are lovely and the sandwiches are exceptional. Very nice

This is the second time I had issues with them . And the owner and the manager took care of the issue and sort it out . It's rare to find restaurant owner who really cares about their customers and do their best to help them. I would like to thank the manager also thank you.

Lovely family run business with great service and friendly waiters. The food is extremely good value and the owner always offers me a free drink after a meal. Authentic London Indian restaurant and a local favourite of mine

Food was great last weak wonderful atmosphere in particular the waitress Sara was outstanding with the service being both polite and very efficient

Benny did a fabulous job looking after our family (a group of 15) celebrating the parents anniversary. The food was great but the service was the star of the show.

Incredible food, really great value and great service from Vraj. We had paneer, chili wings, lamb and dhal. All delicious and the naan was soft and chewy.

I had hosted a B'Day Party for my Son. While I wasn't happy with the arrangements done and what restaurant had promised me to deliver but what was more frustrating that I was over-billed. At the time of payment, the cashier told me that their till-machine is not working and hence just did the total on the calculator, which was incorrect. Since, I didn't had the receipt, I didn't realize that I ended-up paying about 15% - 20% extra money and realized only after I came back home. Since, then I have called hotel may times and sent them an e-mail as well but no response from their end. It's not a matter of 40 pounds that I paid extra but the intent and the courtesy demonstrated by the restaurant manager & staff. Disappointing when have a feeling that someone has tried to cheat you...may be unintentional but not correcting their mistake
