Friendly and welcoming service, seating available and all seemed extremely clean and the food was cooked fresh in about 10 minutes and tasted wonderful.

Good classic, old fashioned cheesecake.

How do I even start with the Crocodile Cafe? The first time I went here, for only three people in a non-busy environment, our food took over 45 minutes to come. The second time, the staff confused our order two times, and forgot bacon with the eggs on toast even though we explicitly asked for it. The cafe’s only two saving graces are A) the lovely outdoor seating and B) the food. But overall - you can find a better cafe out there! You have been warned!

Stopped for ice cream. Sold the smallest scoop possible for an expensive price. If this is an example of their attitude, I would AVOiD.

La comida era muy sabrosa, porciones generosas y precios razonables. Buena elección de cervezas. Personal amable y gran ambiente. Estábamos viendo el fútbol y hay pantallas gigantes, pero también áreas sin pantallas y un área exterior agradable. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo!

Terrible pescado con papas fritas para llevar, pedido sin gluten, el pescado era acuoso y flácido, probablemente congelado, carecía de todo sabor, la masa estaba empapada y robusta sin sabor. Las papas fritas también eran pobres, tal vez compradas congeladas y simplemente fritas, sabían como ella. No voy a volver. Having reserved a table we arrived at the restaurant and asked if we could sit in the only table that was still available and in the shade. We were told that this was reserved and despite protests we were shown to another table and told we needed to be out in 90 mins in a very brusque manner. Another server came to take a drinks order and we asked why we could not have the other table having reserved. We were told it was reserved for us and duly moved. The brusque woman then appeared again and said the same thing. After eating we asked for coffee and still with some 40 mins left were told again we needed to vacate table then! So we asked for bill when coffee arrived. It had still not arrived when were finished so we had to ask again. There were then problems with the payment system. Surprisingly, I declined to pay the service charge !!!!

They would only do industry discount for people who worked in the local (well off) area of Crouch End. Also once called the police on me for talking to another guy in the bar. One of the bartenders is quite nice though, the pints aren’t bad and they allegedly do good pizza!
