The place look good but the food was so poor. I asked for aubergine fritters kelp soup. It was not tasty at all. So plain and it was £12. To improve the flavour I asked for chilli oil. They charged me £1 extra. It was not good at all. Tasteless and extra payment to try to improve it. I asked after for soya sauce as the flavour wasn’t better, and the waiters look at the menu to see if she could charge me. I am not coming back, and definitely there are many other places that can offer better value for money. I love Asian food, I love noodles soup, this was a disappointed.
Ordered through UberEats. We got two burgers, two sexy fries and a mac and cheese. The burger bun was dry, the sexy fries were absolutely nothing like the photos and at a whopping £5 each, I would have expected something half presentable. The Mac and cheese was an absolute joke. We got the side but there were barely two spoons of Mac and cheese in a tub which was 10% full. See pictures. You can see the shadow on the outside of the tub which indicates how full the Mac and cheese tub was.We tried to call the restaurant to complain but no answer and auto response from ubereats telling us feedback will be passed on.I’ll never order again from here.
My favorite places in London, every visit here is incredible from start to end. I can't wait for my next visit! The staff is very friendly specially at the door and food exceptional . The cocktails are very well presented and the food portions are...
A walk around Tooting and Broadway markets led me to here. The look of the place, menu and staff, as well as the clientele reassured me I was making a good choice.
Alas I was mistaken.
When cooked with love and happiness Jamaican food can bring to life the humblest of ingredients. But not here. The jerk chicken was somehow extremely dry yet pink near the bone. It was seasoned less than a Sunday roast chicken, where
was the heat and spice that good jerk should have, that attacks the taste buds? The goat curry was way more bone than meat, I mean there was literally dry bones with no meat upon them. The bones that contained meat yielded little reward from my picking them up and gnawing them. Maybe the most obvious sign of the sheer laziness and contempt for their diners was the plantain. It had obviously been prepared in another time. If the chef can't be arsed to chop up a plantain and fry it to order, maybe another job would suit them.
¡Terrible, absolutamente terrible!
Me and a friend was harassed by the rude owner after having spent 1,5 hours at his pub and having bought 2 pints and to cokes right as the football match we came to watch, had started. As it was a calm Sunday we decided to take a small break from ordering more drinks (having already payed for drinks earlier) and as we sat down at the table indoor the grumpy rude owner started eyeballing us and passive aggressively badmouthing us. We calmly confronted him with the fact that we prior to his arrival had been drinking in the pub, sitting outside. The rude owner didn’t believe us and got the kind female bartender to tell us of, that only paying customers could watch the footy. She then recognised us and told the owner. We tried to show him our receipts but the old man didn’t care and told me that it didn’t matter and we had to keep buying drinks in order to watch the game (euro qualifiers Denmark v Finland, and the pub was nowhere busy or full) He told me that there was a rule that you had to buy drinks every 30 minutes in order to watch the game. I was in shock and felt very uncomfortable and he ended up kicking us out. The sweet female bartender, was very kind as she followed us out of the pub and apologised for her boss’s behaviour but that she couldn’t do anything as he’s was not very nice to anyone, not only us.
Worst treatment I’ve ever received in any pub what so ever. (The staff was very kind but the owner really was a massive idiot)
