The best restaurants in Southall Broadway Ealing London

While in Southall recently, my phone went out of charge so I stopped by Kulcha Express to charge it. Ordered a drink to start and a drink later. I was attended by a friendly staff member at the till. While being around there for about 45 minutes, I observed a lot of things. The place was empty except for me and one other table as the time was between lunch and dinner to be honest. But what I noticed deserves complements as it’s rarely seen in London or elsewhere. The place is near train station, so many people stopped for queries and the lad at till was always smiling, trying to help them even though they were not going to eat or drink at the place. One Special person’s family needed to use their toilet for him for a certain urgent situation, the staff was very friendly to allow them to use it, even asking them many times if they needed other help. In today’s world, I always rate humanity high as it’s a gesture not commonly seen around. My drinks were good, Indian strong touch to them. I didn’t try the food but I saw their Kulcha being served to next table and they looked authentic and tasty. I would definitely try their Punjabi food next time, but this review was for their friendliness and the praise they deserve for it.

Went with our ladies group for dinner on Monday 28th November food was delicious and very fresh and service by Omer and Abrar was excellent very professional and polite and very helpful thank you

Fantastic restaurant, an amazing interior, a very friendly staff, delicious food. My 7 years old son Henry said it is the best restaurant he has ever been in. Chicken Madras was extra spicy but super tasty. All food was exceptional. Brilliant experience, great for families. We will visit again.

We ate at Madhu's, our favourite restaurant, on 2nd November 2024. Everything was perfect as usual, the food was out of this world. However, this time, the levels of service were elevated beyond anything we had previously experienced. From the moment we arrived to the point we stepped outside of the door, Arshdeep was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and he took the time to answer all of our menu enquiries and delivered a truly exceptional experience. Thank you Arshdeep - you are a true brand ambassador of Madhu's!

Great service at Greggs this morning! The team was friendly and efficient, and a special shoutout to the male employee who served us—his smile, positive attitude and efficiency made the experience even better. Much appreciated!

Lured in by the outside stall, we received a warm welcome. Our server was happy to describe dishes and make recommendations. We enjoyed everything. The manager and staff made sure that we felt at home. We'll Done Shaqar and everyone.

Yesterday I just visited this restaurant with my friends and I didnt really like their food as well their staff was not supportive. Average food.

We were there at lunchtime and they were busy with the tiffin service, takeaway and delivery. We were attracted by the lunchtime biriani pictured on the door. Good choice. Sit down area and we both had the biriani and a lassi. Good value, and we shall be back. The portions are slightly larger I thought than the standard takeaway boxes so very pleased overall. Nice atmosphere, nice people.

Saw mice running around. Super unhygienic, slow service. Staff ignore you when required. Well over priced. I don’t recommend it at all.

Very nice food i got the chicken strips and chips was very warm and good temperature and got a miranda on the side 7/10 would recommend :)

We celebrated my grandsons Aqeeqah at Gifto’s in the hall above the restaurant. Everyone of our guests loved the ambience, the food and the service that was provided by the staff and Mr Saleem, the manager. He ensured that everyone had been served and that food was in abundance. Thank you so much Giftos for making our event a memorable one.

We came to TKC for dinner and we were greeted by Aanchal straight away. Very friendly and helped with our orders. Our food came immediately and was very delicious, full of flavour. I really enjoyed it and would recommend that if you are in the area then come to TKC for some real authentic food.

Nice staff, really cold weather outside so put the heating up for us, the food was great my mum had a mixed kebab roll and I had (masala)fish and chips it was great, friendly staff and a nice calming atmosphere to talk and spend time with family.

We ate outside and had Fat Twins and Kaspers. For my sons bday. The food was very good. The service impeccable. They couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you Jawad and Millie. We’ll be back soon.
