While in Southall recently, my phone went out of charge so I stopped by Kulcha Express to charge it. Ordered a drink to start and a drink later. I was attended by a friendly staff member at the till. While being around there for about 45 minutes, I observed a lot of things. The place was empty except for me and one other table as the time was between lunch and dinner to be honest. But what I noticed deserves complements as it’s rarely seen in London or elsewhere. The place is near train station, so many people stopped for queries and the lad at till was always smiling, trying to help them even though they were not going to eat or drink at the place. One Special person’s family needed to use their toilet for him for a certain urgent situation, the staff was very friendly to allow them to use it, even asking them many times if they needed other help. In today’s world, I always rate humanity high as it’s a gesture not commonly seen around. My drinks were good, Indian strong touch to them. I didn’t try the food but I saw their Kulcha being served to next table and they looked authentic and tasty. I would definitely try their Punjabi food next time, but this review was for their friendliness and the praise they deserve for it.

We stopped here on the way to the airport. With the new Elizabeth Line it was so quick and easy. Loved this place- great portions, perfect spice level and very good prices. The chili paneer was one of the best I've had (and I've had a lot). It was great to try kulcha for the first time and there was lots of choice. The chai was excellent too.

Although it’s a very late review as I visited them with family in September. It won’t be fair either with me or with them if I don’t write a review as they deserve a 5 star. Tried a lot of food here and everything was superb specially thali, kulcha chole and pani puri. Loved the food. Keep up the good work guys. Will re-visit you soon.

We have been here with Friends and was nicely greeted & seated. Tried couple of Kulcha Thali's which came with chick peas, yogurt, onions and pickle. It was served fresh & hot. Lassi was also good, but Paani puri was okayish.

We went to K.E on South Road upon arrival we waited to be seated albeit was rather empty apart from 2 other tables occupied. The lady came up to us and placed us between 2 occupied tables with less half a metres distance little own 1 mtr which is recommended due to health and safety for covid. We asked to sit somewhere else and she said no were closing soon. We were reluctant and asked why we couldn't move and we were too close to others. She said fine move. We then asked for the bathroom to wash our hands which is again recommended due to covid to be told toilets are shut and there is no water. At this point, we had no choice but to leave and cancel our order... How places think its OK to run a food restaurant but have no facilities to wash hands or to visit the toilet. It is unacceptable especially at times like now when all we have been taught in the last 15 months is to wash your hands every so often. Will not be returning as they seem to be less than bothered about hygiene or distance or covid itself! Previously, we had gone in and ordered our food. We started eating and literally within minutes told to finish food quick as we need to close...So why take the order if you know your closing??? You cannot rush people to finish their food which is again unacceptable and customers still have to pay!!

Had been to Kulcha Express in Southall recently with my wife and loved the Kulcha and Bature, with chole. Firstly, they were both piping hot and fresh and served without a long wait. Would definitely recommend a visit to this place if your looking for some Punjabi food or some quick snacks.

We have been to Kulcha Express in Southall and the Hayes branch and both were exceptional with food, service and cleanliness. Both branches we had to complete our details we were given hand sanitiser and tables were apart. The manager always comes to ask how the food is and very customer orientated. Would highly recommend both branches. We went to the Ilford branch today and it was absolutely awful. No details taken, no sanitisers, no social distancing. Placed order for starters and half of it did t come we had to enquire, one of the dishes had hair inside. We had to gather plates for them to take. Mains was not the same as the other branches totally different. Kulcha was burnt, and not the same fluffy ones you get at the other branches. Spoke to manager he goes we very busy, that is not exceptable we are customers. Went for our parents anniversary and it was a big let down.

Ordered Keema Peas on Uber Eats. I requested very little chilli, and they felt it necessary to put too much! How about reading notes! This has happened too many times! That was my last time ordering from Taste of Punjab.👎🏾😠
