We stopped at Crepe Affaire for drinks to wrap up our day in the city. Having already eaten earlier, we opted only for drinks. The service and pricing were both acceptable. Unfortunately, as we prepared to leave, things went a bit pear-shaped. Each of us wanted to use the toilet before leaving. The regular toilets downstairs were accessible to two of us. But my mother, with ailments including heart failure, asked to be allowed to use the accessible toilet at ground level. She was initially told “no, go downstairs” by unsympathetic staff, and afterwards, following a bit of a protest, she was told “use your radar key”. It should be pointed out that this was not a toilet on the street, rather a toilet inside a food/drink establishment. Without question, access should have been provided. But one very ignorant staff member - Sasha being her name - had zero compassion for a customer who could not manage stairs and preferred to decide for herself which customers were disabled enough to use an accessible toilet. In doing so, my mother was discriminated against under the Equality Act 2010. So enraged by the situation, I asked the employee for her reasoning. She told me that customers frequently ask to use that particular toilet and they “aren’t disabled”. Whether they confess to being able-bodied or staff make that assumption, I’ve no idea. Whilst apologetic, the damage was done. Evidently this is an establishment in need of some disability awareness training. Carrying on as they are, they’re opening themselves up to legal claims from customers that have faced similar discrimination. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

A great little cafe for a traditional bacon sandwich for breakfast (take away or eat in on one of the bar stools). The owner is a lovely, friendly Portuguese man and we enjoyed reminiscing about his homeland. Excellent value for Westminster. His pastel de nata are delicious. Recommended.

One of two locations in the same mall, but this one has a much nicer ambience, it has an open front to the rest of the floor making it seem much bigger than it is. It is a lovely place to sit and chat and decompress from the day as it is a very calm place. The selection of food and drinks like any other Greggs is varied and easy on the wallet compared to other chains.

Nos alojamos una noche en este hotel. en una fantástica posición en el centro de la ciudad a sólo 3 minutos a pie del teatro que visitábamos.

This was my first time in this restaurant at the Royal Opera House. Not to be tried again as the service was disappointing. The first course was slow in coming but still before the opera started. At the 15 minute bell we chased for our main course; don’t worry, it will be here in 2 minutes. At the 10 minute bell the food had not arrived and we had to leave. The main course was in the table for the (25 minute) interval. Desert, which should have been the only course to be served in this interval, arrived just in time for us to pay and leave for the second act.

Quite simply one of the very best seafood restaurants in the World and we love visiting this iconic eatery whenever we are in town. The staff are lovely and nothing is any problem even when you are the very last people to leave!! We booked for 9.30pm and arrived very late but it was truly no issue whatsoever! Love Sheekeys!!❤️
