Timmy Green in City of London, Westminster

To the man behind the desk at Timmy Green today (11:30am, Saturday 22nd September) you should not work in hospitality.. It's rare for me to review a restaurant so negatively, but my experience with one individual this morning at Timmy Green, Victoria made my blood boil. I booked a table in advance in the usual manner online, providing card details etc. Upon arrival the man at the front desk took my name and explained to me that my table was outside as this is what I had booked. I explained that I had not booked an outside table and before I could finish what I was saying, he completely shut me down, saying 'Oh you probably didn't realise, but you definitely booked an outdoor table'. I continued to explain that I had not been given a choice of inside or outside at the time of booking and that I definitely wanted to be seated inside. Looking around the restaurant at lots of empty tables, I asked if he could accommodate our small party of 2 inside, he abruptly said no and pointed to the outdoor seating. I therefore walked outside to the only remaining table that was covered (it was raining) and sat down. Note that there was no reserved signs on any of these tables, so how exactly I had managed to reserve outside is quite befuddling. Whilst I waited for my friend to join me I consulted by booking confirmation email and exactly as I told the man at the front desk, there was no record of this being an outdoor booking. I asked another waiter (who was lovely, I'd like to add) if there was any way we could be seated inside and he said he would try and see what was possible. He never came back (despite many tables inside remaining empty). So, we sat outside in the rain and I'll never be returning.

Andras was a spectacular host. He looked after us so incredibly well. He was the master of hospitality! The food food vibe and service was second to none!

Service was lovely and customisation of the food was amazing. Drinks were very nice especially the Prosecco which was very smooth

Andras was great. Good service and good food. We enjoyed our time here. We even got free drinks! Would come again to this establishment.

Came here with a friend for brunch before getting our coach home. I had a lovely smoked salmon and poached eggs on toast along with a chai latte which was yummy! The pancakes were also delicious and very tasty!

Such a great place to go especially for after work drinks. Amazing vibes, great workers. It’s always a good time. Have to give a massive shout out to Ade!

Had a lovely Salmon Royal and coffee to start the day. Quick and efficient, polite staff, great location. I would highly recommend this is you are in the area.

What a great experience we had. We ended up in Timmy Green because the other place we wanted to book had no availability so we opted for Timmy Green in Victoria instead. What a pleasant surprise and what a service. Everything was spot on from start to finish. We were a party of six celebrating our bride to be. We had bottomless brunch with Prosecco and the food was amazing but also our waiter Andras, who was a real star. He was so attentive, making sure Prosecco was always present lol. Thank you Andras for a great service and thank you Tommy Green for the great venue

Would highly recommend the Bottomless brunch Great food, generous portions and lots of drinks flowing. Jacob was a great server, polite and attentive to the group. Would visit again!

Had a hen do it was brilliant and Andras was very attentive and the food was fabulous had a fabulous time, atmosphere was very good.

I recently had a brunch here and I must say that the food was very good. Too bad that the staff was a little bit “snobby” and they brought us the bill even tho we didn’t ask for it, basically asking us to free up the table.

Ade is the coolest guy and the best! Such a good vibe, we love it here. 10/10 always. I would recommend the sky at night, it is amazing!

If you have babies don’t bother to go because you are an annoyance for them. I met with some new mums for lunch and have been told that if they knew we all had babies they wouldn’t have taken our reservation. Not very polite neither professional comment. Food was ok

Great place for food like other Daisy Green restaurants. Like the charcuterie and cheese boards. Also enjoyed the caviar, lobster roll and mushroom party parfait.
