Después de un par de días difíciles luchando contra la gripe y apenas comiendo, nos topamos con Gail, y se sintió como una verdadera bendición. Estábamos agotados y hambrientos, pero desde el momento en que entramos, la calidez del personal y el aroma acogedor de pan y pasteles recién horneados nos levantaron el ánimo. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa, exactamente lo que necesitábamos. Nuestra sopa era reconfortante y sabrosa, pero lo que verdaderamente nos alegró el día fue la amable señora que nos sorprendió con tres trozos extra de su increíble masa madre. Ese pequeño gesto significó el mundo para nosotros. Gracias xxx

We love it, mini banana muffins, delicious almond croissant 🥐, the coffee ☕ is not that good but the tea is, good treatment my girl was given milk with cocoa with a lot of delicious foam, the girl who served us was very nice, we had gone several times to the same cafeteria that is on Fulham Broadway and there the treatment was not so close. I recommend this cafe.

1 star for the staff that serves everything in takeaway cups and paper bags, 1 hour before closing. Scone served without butter and jam.

Nice place with fresh and amazing sandwiches. Just little bit cold inside because the doors are open all the time. It’s a bit cheaper as take away (about £1 on each)

Coffee is decent (if ££) and the space is nice and bright, but the bathroom is dirtier than most public toilets. Don’t know when it was last cleaned but I don’t think it was any time this week

I’ve visited seven Gail’s Bakery locations, and this one is by far the best. The service here is exceptional, and the staff are genuinely caring and friendly. Here’s an example: when I walked in, my phone had died. At most places, the staff wouldn’t pay much attention, and I’d lose out on my points. However, at this location, they kindly offered me a phone charger, and within two minutes, I was able to collect my points. The overall atmosphere stood out as well—no one seemed unhappy or miserable, which can sometimes be the case in service roles. That said, I’m not expecting anyone to smile constantly, as that wouldn’t feel genuine. As for the food, the eggs and bacon were cooked to absolute perfection. It’s the combination of excellent service, kind staff, and great food that makes this Gail’s my favourite location by far.

Nothing unusual, the desserts are not very tasty, the atmosphere is overloaded, there are a lot of people, there is one toilet for everyone, there is a long queue.

This bakery is the perfect spot for your breakfast! And opens around 07:00 in the morning so if you arrive early at Victoria station Gail’s got you covered. The food was fantastic and so delicious. And the variety- incredible.

The selection is fantastic - from fluffy croissants to savory snacks to sweet temptations, everything is of the highest quality. Really good service. The staff is incredibly friendly & attentive. The prices are steep but justified by London standards when you consider the quality and taste of the products. GAIL's really proves the opposite when you think of the classic English breakfast :D

Nice place for your morning coffee. Few sesŕts available at the windows and many table at the back. Lucky if you grab a chair!

We had butter and almonds croissants. They were not bad. The almonds one was. It too sweet. We preferred the butter one, it was crisper. Americano was good, mild taste.

Apparently they have the worst one here. It was a total disastrous experience today. There was almost no chocolate in my Pain Au Chocolat. Service was also extremely bad. Apparently they wanted me to keave that they took my coffee away even though I said I was drinking it. Even tho I took the mug away from here the lady still took it and tried to go away. Definitely my worst Gail's experience so far.

Love Gail’s and am a frequent customer, recently I’ve been coming to the one in Victoria as it’s by my work and i’ve never had any issues with the staff they’ve always been so lovely and attentive. But this morning I was served by an asian lady who was particularly rude and grumpy, she should consider how she speaks to customers.

Food realy good. The room is really beautiful. I recommend it

The pastries were delightful. Everything was flaky, fresh and the fillings were generous and moist. Would definitely recommend it and would be happy to go back when in the area.

Gail like in their any locations are not going to let you down, their bakery inside made products are up to the highest standards. The coffee is good but only for purists and classics, there is now drama or innovative process involved.

We stopped by this little café, and it was lovely. I had the mango ginger tea, which was refreshing, but the real star was my boyfriend’s ham and cheese croissant. He called it "the best ham and cheese croissant I've ever eaten." Definitely worth a visit for a cozy and tasty treat!

Just awful. Inefficient. Failure to take the order properly. Asked my name for the coffee but didn’t charge me or sort order so I had to re queue. Wouldn’t bring me my coffee despite me struggling to carry team order of food. Overpriced cold drink (nice flavour) which they tried to cram the glass with ice - cheap trick. Nice bread but mean filling of tomato and herbs - hardly any tomato. Member of staff couldn’t care less when I raised it. Ridiculous prices. Such a shame - as baked goods very good. Oh - and how did I end up on the mailing list for emails a few days after? I never knowingly gave my email address.

I was lucky enough to spend about 4 weeks in London, and the Gail's on Buckingham Palace Rd. was my go-to almost every morning. During that time, I tried several different breakfast pastries. I also grabbed sandwiches for later in the day a couple of time, and one of my favorite dinners became their season quiche (artichoke and tomato) and a salad. Everything I tried there was so delicious! On top of that, the people who work there are all truly lovely. I've been back home for a week now, and I miss going there so much!

La comida se dio de inmediato, las bebidas vinieron poco después, pero encontramos algunas mesas estaban un poco desordenadas y no estaban claras, pero logramos encontrar asientos. Pedí cruasanes pero tristemente estaban fríos y no nos preguntaron si queríamos que estuviera caliente. La comida era agradable, pero probablemente lo mismo que cualquier otra panadería / cafeterías que se puede encontrar.

Quite strange that you can’t order a meal with baked eggs on a wednesday morning.

¡Muy muy decepcionante! Había visto esta panadería en bastantes lugares alrededor de Londres y estaba deseando ir. El servicio de mostrador era desagradable y francamente grosero. Éramos una fiesta de seis, así que se esperaba paciencia, pero no se dio. Ni siquiera era turista, sino londinense, así que si me trataban mal, no me atrevo a pensar en los turistas que aportan ingresos a tu panadería. Todo fue servido frío, lo que está bien, pero incluso una quiche? Se dio un NO descarado cuando se le pidió que lo calentara. La única cara amable era el cajero italiano. Los demás malhumorados, como si les hiciéramos un favor. Si su personal no puede interactuar con el público, entonces tal vez deberían cambiar de trabajo. ¡Decepcionante!

Today i bought for the second time the chocolate babka as its delicious. However the woman that served me cut me the very thin first slice of the edge of the cake and wanted to sell me this for £4. i asked for the regular piece of cake as ususally. she still cut the thin slice that splitted, fallen apart and yet she packed it like it was ok to sell it like this. I suggest the babka is cut beforehand and even pieces worth £4 are sold.

Terrible chai latte. I ordered a icded chai latte at this store, and a hot chai latte at another Gail’s location. Both are equally bad.

Yummy! Spacious, clean and beautiful cafe. The boy who served us was very friendly. I got a bikini croissant and I loved it, it was really delicious. Furthermore, the cappuccino with chocolate on top was a very successful accompaniment! recommendable

It is unacceptable for a place like Gail's to have a 'system error' and not be able to process orders via card or cash payments. Only way to do it is through deliveroo or their app, waste of my time having to do all that, not mentioning the higher stay in prices.

We ordered a Too Good To Go bag from Gail’s. When we arrived we were very warmly greeted and the gentleman serving us, Joseph, was very kind and helpful. He allowed us to pick what we wanted and was lovely. We will definitely be coming back for Too Good To Go and otherwise!

Llegamos a esta panadería / cafetería en nuestro paseo a Victoria Station desde Buckingham Palace. Tenía buen Chai Latte y dulces de panadería para acompañar. Me encantó especialmente la tarta de fresa. Nos sentamos en la ventana para poder ver la concurrida calle de la ciudad, pero había más asientos en la parte trasera y un baño.

Female barista = RACIST. The cashier was taking orders, so I very politely asked the female barista to wipe the table, but she frowned and said, “What?” “I’m working, so go somewhere else and tell me” haha. No, the customer asks for it, but if you are an employee, shouldn’t you tell it to another employee? Besides that, the coffee was delicious and the other staff were nice.

Popped in recently, it was my first time in this bakery and I had to see what the fuss was all about. First off the store itself is beautiful, not to mention the food display.. the staff were lovely and we had a nice chat! I tried a cappuccino & the almond croissant and not to be dramatic but it was by far the best almond croissant I’ve had. Coffee was beautiful too. Such a gorgeous bakery, definitely worth popping into if you’re around the area

Firstly, I want to express my appreciation for this establishment, particularly for its attentive staff and welcoming ambiance. However, I must address a concerning issue regarding the food, which unfortunately led me to rate it with zero stars. Over the past five weekends, I have made multiple attempts to order hot food, only to be met with the same disappointing response: the oven is out of order. Consequently, basic breakfast staples such as eggs and bacon have been unavailable. One cannot help but wonder, how long does it take to repair an oven? If the decision has been made to discontinue serving hot food, it should be promptly removed from the menu. As a diabetic individual, it is incredibly frustrating to anticipate a sugar-free breakfast outing with friends, only to find limited options available while others indulge in sugary pastries.

Not too far from Victoria Station I stumbled upon this fantastic eatery. Was craving a sausage roll and theirs did not disappoint. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh and the service, even when chaotic, has been great.

Went to London today, stopped at Gail's for cappuccino & cake before going to our event, was sooo good we stopped there again on our way back to the station later in the day, then also bought some goodies to take home. Can't recommend them enough excellent in all areas, food, cleanliness, friendly, was great to have real tasty food whilst out and about. Well done Gail's.

the cafe is okay, wont come back. the bagel in the salmon bagel tasted like a cardboard and the latte tasted like milky water. the toilet was super gross. overall good visual branding but need to step up on the food (and bathroom hygiene).

One of the few places to have a good coffee with decent milk, special mention to their cinnamon roll although everything looked excellent. If you order an expresso they will ask you single or double… the single is too short

Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The cashiers and the server were both very sweet and welcoming despite being rather busy. The kitchen is very nice and we had a great time. This will be the go-to breakfast spot for our stay in London.

We became fans of scones, so when we went to visit Buckingham Palace, we went to the nearest Gail's for breakfast. Friendly and super available staff. This time we tried a cinnamon bun and a blueberry muffin. Both delicious, just like cappuccino! Note: Prices differ depending on whether you eat in or take-away, but they are clearly identified next to each product (in/out).

Good cakes, bread can be a bit hit and miss. Unfortunately lots of nuts and peanuts used so not a good choice if anyone in the family needs to be careful about cross-contamination.

Clean, tidy and not badly decorated. Mainly indoor seating with a couple of outdoor tables. The service was OK but nothing special, the staff were friendly enough and well turned out. The food looked good and was well presented, with a nice choice of pastries and cakes. To be fair, what we had was nice, not over cooked fresh and tasty. My only negative is that the coffee could have been hotter. It was busy, with a lot of take away customers. It is relatively small inside with a couple of steps into it, so not overly wheelchair friendly. Very cramped around the counter. Not that bad value for money, it is London after all. I would happily eat here again.

At 9am they were running out of a lot of items, plus the service was not the best to go with it. At 9am I ordered coffee and porridge. I was told to go to the end and collect it. When I got to the end, I was asked what I ordered (so I had to ask again for coffee and porridge). I was given my coffee, and after another 5-10 more minutes of waiting, I could see them putting porridge into a bowl. They came across and said there was no more porridge! I said I could see the porridge. They told me that that porridge was for another customer (that arrived 5 minutes or so after I placed my order). After an argument they decided they would actually give me the porridge I had ordered and told the other customer that they didn't have any more porridge (at 9am). I was then given a takeaway box of porridge and had to remind the server that he had charged me dine-in VAT, so asked him why he would serve me porridge in a takeaway container when he had charged me extra to dine-in. 30 minutes later I went back and ordered 2 filter coffees. I was then told that they had run out of coffee and could only give me 1 cup. What cafe runs out of breakfast items at 9am and coffee at 9:30am?!! Really poor experience. It really isn't hard to see that porridge is getting low and start making more in advance (and the same goes for coffee).

Went here yesterday as have good experiences in other Gail’s - NOT this one - Staff were extremely brusque - - I tried a ham and cheese croissant and an almond croissant - both were really doughy and didn’t feel fresh - and quite cold - would be great if these could be served warm - we ate in and to be fair they did bring our tea and coffee to the table - the shop was busy with take away customers although not so when I bought my food - the guy didn’t even give eye contact - a bit of a let down - The Gail’s in berkhamstead is much better -

5 of us (2 adults and 3 children) went for snack around 4 p.m. Not bad pastries (but quite expensive for what they are) On the other hand, the staff made no effort to communicate (we speak English but not fluently), did not take care to offer us a space to settle in (we ourselves had to push used dishes from previous users and this obviously did not bother the staff), unfriendly staff who ostensibly diverted attention when we left (it doesn't bother me, but it shows the respect they have for tourists). In short, we're not going to lie to each other, the experience wasn't unpleasant (once settled in, we weren't so bad, and the pastries were simple but qualitative), on the other hand, the welcome left us a little bitter and meant that we didn't will not return.
