itsu - Strand in City of London, Westminster

If you're a sushi-lover, you can never go wrong with Itsu. It's fresh and delicious! I especially love this one here, because the Embankment Park is close by and I simply take my food to-go and eat it there.

Stopped by today and had a really good experience. The place was clean, quick, and the food was spot on though it was a rainy day so the floors were a bit wet. What really stood out was the service, Arafat was super friendly and genuinely helpful. He took the time to recommend a few options and i had the double chicken teriyaki which was really good. Came across as someone who cares about the customer’s experience. It’s a small thing, but it is something what makes a change. Pass my gratitude to him.

Arrived 15 mins before closing no salmon left but ordered the vegan meatballs. Food was cold. Sat with them literally cleaning around me and told excuse me out it in that bin when you’re finished. Could not feel any less welcome. Worst Itsu ever.

First time for me having Japanese food. Boy, the food was good! I will be back every time I’m near you.

I will never eat there again I got a bad back from their small seats geared to Asian people. I’m a stocky 300+ pound person 6’3 and I had to eat standing up.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I really wanted to give a shoutout to Arafat for the brilliant service I received on friday. On my first visit, he helped me with my order and suggested the Korean Stir fry noodles with chicken—which was honestly so good. He also took the time to help me as I had no knowledge about the itsu app and told me I can get free foods and discounts in a friendly manner. I will definitely go there whenever I will visit central london again as I do not visit there often. It’s little things like that which make a difference. Working in such a busy place can’t be easy, but Arafat was calm, friendly, and super helpful though there was very busy at lunch time.

The food was Amaizing. The gyozas and korean stir fry noodles with chicken was the best.

Thais was so nice & helpful! We were able to place a large order & get hot food in such a short time & have an enjoyable experience ordering food and also using the app for rewards. Thank you very much Thais, we appreciate your kindness.

Very good and professional service

Kind of like fast food but not, pre prepared meals kept cold in fridges or hot meals like bao buns or gyoza. Everything tasted fresh and more importantly the cold meals were cold, and the hot ones were piping hot! (Good food safety). Only takes card no cash. Plenty of seating or can get take away.

Sushi is definitely better than the one in Bicester Village. Still the rice is a little hard. The salmon is nice though.

It’s a good place for eating fast sushi rolls and you also can ask for hot food. It’s not great sushi but it is quick and good.

Japanese cuisine is something else. this is halfway between a fast food restaurant and a small supermarket that sells ready-made meals, kept in refrigerated counters. You eat at high tables, with uncomfortable stools. The quality of the food is nothing special. My edamame was hard as wood, the nighiri was decent but the rice wasn't good, other things I don't know the name of were barely enough. Courteous staff.

Itsu is sushi and rice based healthy dishes. It's always fresh, it's always generously proportioned, it's easy on the taste buds and only slightly harder on the pocket than a Pret based lunch. So if you were in the market for a decidedly healthy lunch time option and the sushi in the Tesco looks like it might be old enough to vote. Itsu is for you.

It's a great place for a quick snack or lunch. The staff looks happy and always willing to help. Fresh and tasty meals in central London! Big shout out to Luana for outstanding service and super positive attitude!! Thank You!

Excellent service, very friendly. Unfortunately the food didn't taste great. The veggie dumplings were ok, I ignored the dip. The veggie noodles were just overcooked and slushy. I added sauce to get any taste, then just left the meal. Disappointed.

Nice sushi, but they do not accept cash here. Which is frankly stupid. Central location meaning it will attract tourists carrying cash and also there are so many homeless people in this area of London- in not accepting cash these people are forced out and not able to make purchases here.

The food tastes bad! I ordered Spicy Chicken Teriyaki rice bowl. While the rice is raw and hard, and very salty, the miso soup is not strong enough.

I really like this place opposite Coutts Bank and it has become my go-to spot for lunch for the past few days. I really enjoyed their food and service. I was served by Sidirtha, who was very kind, helpful, and positive. It felt like a five-star hotel experience getting food from him.

The food was AMAZING! it was extremely fresh and i was served promptly, the coconut chicken soup was hot and tasty im still thinking about it now! the gyozas were surprisingly fresh and so delicious i would 100% recommend them to anyone. The food was so healthy all while being delicious i was baffled. I was greeted and welcomed at the front door which instantly made the atmosphere feel good. I was served by MD Murad and a team leader named Irfan, it was great to have a conversation with them they both seemed really passionate about working at itsu, its great to see how respectful and helpful the customer service was at Itsu. I will for sure be returning, cant wait to recommend this place to my family and friends!

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I went to itsu to feed a hungry film crew and we had a limited budget. The amazing general manager helped me find the most cost effective way to feed them. The itsu team cooked our food to the exact time agreed and kept it warm for us when we needed to wait a little longer. The food was fresh and delicious and everyone loved it. I cannot thank the manager and team enough. They went above and beyond!

Serves sushi, salmon and healthy vegetables

I was charged and given extra without asking for a miso soup. I placed two packs of sushi and was quite concerned about the final price. Then, I realised that I have the soup, and asked why I had the soup in my bag and he said mistakes happens.

I love to get Miso soup here as it is really tasty and has a lot of seaweed. The staff is super nice too!

The food was okay and at a reasonable price but that zen water was heavenly!

Visiting this little gem was such a positive experience for me. The 2 ladies serving were absolutely delightful. They were polite, friendly, and helpful. My food was delicious and of a much higher quality than others I have visited. A big thumbs up and much deserved .

The veggie udon with gyoza was disgusting, I’ve eaten a lot of udon and that was hands down the worst. The broth was very vinegary and the gyoza instantly turned to mush and disintegrated into the soup. The addition of different types of nut seeds to the top was an odd addition. My partner bought a side of gyoza, which were half dried out making that portion of the gyoza inedible and the other side fell apart upon picking them up. The gyoza sauce is very vinegary as well. We ended up just tossing the whole lot in the bin.

Chain Japanese restaurant near Charing Cross rr station, with counter service and sale of takeaway sushi, salads and noodle dishes. Everything is fresh and beautifully packaged, interesting drinks, but the taste is for those who don’t like the Japanese version of dishes.

Great food (I had Thai noodles) at affordable prices. Clean and quiet premises. Nice staff.

A quick stop for lunch: healthy and tasty choices. Fairly clean restaurant. Only one toilet on the other hand: difficult to have a turn when each customer takes a long time. Fortunately reserved for customers, but still quite insufficient to have just one.

Delicious food and amazing location.

Everything was delicious, I ate sushi and my partner who doesn't like it got some bao and some gyozas, we also did a little trick that we saw is to go in the last half hour and you get everything at half price, we got 2 trays of sushi, 1 of gyozas and 1 of bao for about £16, we couldn't believe it, plus the service was very good, one of the guys even greeted us in our language! Very good experience

We had a nice couple of meal snacks at Itsu. Ordered and then we found some spare stools. The pink paper spoons are funky. My Korean spicy udon noodles could have been hotter. The restaurant was very clean.

These noodles were so good, it had the right amount of veggies and I wish there were more dumplings obviously but it all came together really well. I like how they have bottles of sauces on each table so you can add them as required.

We came here to eat sushi, it was delicious, very good service, and a relatively good atmosphere. Overall it was good.

When the staff member told me we don't take cash and I asked why not, I was shocked at the answer, he gave the owners think staff nick the money and it saves on banking fees well that was it I went to mc donalds its cheaper and they take cash and 1 staff member combing her hair on the shop floor at the mirror

Unfortunately the food wasn't convincing, strange spices. What is terrible, however, are the screwed-on stools that make it impossible to sit comfortably.

This was very disappointing. "eat beautiful" but the food wasn't beautiful in taste nor looks. The second I opened the box I knew it wouldn't taste good. I ordered chicken teriyaki with brown rice and the sauce wasn't even there, the chicken was hard and colourless, the rice smelled and tasted burnt.

I have eaten at several of their stores in London and the sushi everywhere was very delicious and fresh. You can't pay with cash in any store, only with a card. If you want to eat here, prepare for it. (Although this is roughly true for the entire city. There are very few places where you can pay with cash) Also, it is more expensive if you eat it locally. About £1.5-2 I think drag, because there is no service or anything, you just sit at one of the tables for 5 minutes while you eat and go about your business. Since this can be eliminated so it is not a minus point. Everyone can decide where they want to eat their food.

If you want to spend little and eat well, trust me, this is the right place

Never been before. Great vegi choice. More a fast food joint than a restaraunt. If your happy to eat out of takeaway containers (I am) the I was very impressed. Yum

2 weeks ago I got out of work late and called this establishment to ask if they had any of my preferred vegetarian options left. They let me know they did and that they can put it away for me. I arrived 20 minutes after the call and 30 minutes before their closing time and the managers still had my dish waiting there for me. I really appreciated this as they made sure I was able to eat my favourite dish that night. Wonderful customer service from the two male managers on that day, and the other Itsu location that I called beforehand who told me the location that still had my preferred dish in stock.
