Visiting this little gem was such a positive experience for me. The 2 ladies serving were absolutely delightful. They were polite, friendly, and helpful. My food was delicious and of a much higher quality than others I have visited. A big thumbs up and much deserved .

The veggie udon with gyoza was disgusting, I’ve eaten a lot of udon and that was hands down the worst. The broth was very vinegary and the gyoza instantly turned to mush and disintegrated into the soup. The addition of different types of nut seeds to the top was an odd addition. My partner bought a side of gyoza, which were half dried out making that portion of the gyoza inedible and the other side fell apart upon picking them up. The gyoza sauce is very vinegary as well. We ended up just tossing the whole lot in the bin.

Itsu is hands down my favorite place in London. I absolutely love their food options! It’s always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The menu offers a great variety of options, from delicious sushi rolls to flavorful noodle dishes. The ambiance at Itsu is always welcoming and modern, making it a great spot for a quick lunch. I highly recommend Itsu to anyone looking for a tasty and healthy meal in London. It's definitely a 5-star establishment in my book!

Chain Japanese restaurant near Charing Cross rr station, with counter service and sale of takeaway sushi, salads and noodle dishes. Everything is fresh and beautifully packaged, interesting drinks, but the taste is for those who don’t like the Japanese version of dishes.

A quick stop for lunch: healthy and tasty choices. Fairly clean restaurant. Only one toilet on the other hand: difficult to have a turn when each customer takes a long time. Fortunately reserved for customers, but still quite insufficient to have just one.

Delicious food and amazing location.

Everything was delicious, I ate sushi and my partner who doesn't like it got some bao and some gyozas, we also did a little trick that we saw is to go in the last half hour and you get everything at half price, we got 2 trays of sushi, 1 of gyozas and 1 of bao for about £16, we couldn't believe it, plus the service was very good, one of the guys even greeted us in our language! Very good experience

We had a nice couple of meal snacks at Itsu. Ordered and then we found some spare stools. The pink paper spoons are funky. My Korean spicy udon noodles could have been hotter. The restaurant was very clean.

We came here to eat sushi, it was delicious, very good service, and a relatively good atmosphere. Overall it was good.

These noodles were so good, it had the right amount of veggies and I wish there were more dumplings obviously but it all came together really well. I like how they have bottles of sauces on each table so you can add them as required.

When the staff member told me we don't take cash and I asked why not, I was shocked at the answer, he gave the owners think staff nick the money and it saves on banking fees well that was it I went to mc donalds its cheaper and they take cash and 1 staff member combing her hair on the shop floor at the mirror

Unfortunately the food wasn't convincing, strange spices. What is terrible, however, are the screwed-on stools that make it impossible to sit comfortably.

Very good sushi with affordable prices compared to similar food places in London

This was very disappointing. "eat beautiful" but the food wasn't beautiful in taste nor looks. The second I opened the box I knew it wouldn't taste good. I ordered chicken teriyaki with brown rice and the sauce wasn't even there, the chicken was hard and colourless, the rice smelled and tasted burnt.

I have eaten at several of their stores in London and the sushi everywhere was very delicious and fresh. You can't pay with cash in any store, only with a card. If you want to eat here, prepare for it. (Although this is roughly true for the entire city. There are very few places where you can pay with cash) Also, it is more expensive if you eat it locally. About £1.5-2 I think drag, because there is no service or anything, you just sit at one of the tables for 5 minutes while you eat and go about your business. Since this can be eliminated so it is not a minus point. Everyone can decide where they want to eat their food.

If you want to spend little and eat well, trust me, this is the right place

Itsu: Strand London (Charing cross) I really liked the freshness of sushi and their taste! The service is very good. They can always help you or give you another pack of wasabi or chopsticks. Atmosphere of this restaurant is awesome. I enjoyed how clean is this restaurant and how beautiful it is inside!

Never been before. Great vegi choice. More a fast food joint than a restaraunt. If your happy to eat out of takeaway containers (I am) the I was very impressed. Yum

2 weeks ago I got out of work late and called this establishment to ask if they had any of my preferred vegetarian options left. They let me know they did and that they can put it away for me. I arrived 20 minutes after the call and 30 minutes before their closing time and the managers still had my dish waiting there for me. I really appreciated this as they made sure I was able to eat my favourite dish that night. Wonderful customer service from the two male managers on that day, and the other Itsu location that I called beforehand who told me the location that still had my preferred dish in stock.

So fresh and so good. Top choice for fast food on the go when in London. Wish we had Itsu in Berlin. So many fresh and vegetarian options. Great selection of hot and cold food. The discounts at evening time are a fantastic sustainable solution. Love it

Good food and good prices but there was no toilet available. The answer to that was: you can go to McDonalds next door. I can’t believe that a place of this size where food is served is allowed to work without toilet

I normally really enjoy Itsu's food, general service and atmosphere, but I witnessed the most shocking thing since I visited any Itsu store. I popped in the store in Strand next to Charing Cross station to get my normal favourite vegetarian dumpling at the hot food area and I noticed the two boxes left, but both plastic seals were both opened on the shelf. I informed an Asian look girl about this, she straightened away and removed these from the shelf and talked to another guy who in the kitchen,then another older lady came to talk to them and it seems the Asian girl explained my concern of these boxes, but what this lady did after was shocked me. The older lady seems not happy, but picked up a pen made some note on the box and instructed the Asian girl to place it back on the shelf again!! What horrible action! These could be contaminated or someone might have been touched by their finger or spit in the box via the open seals... I can't believe my eyes and definitely do not want to return to this place again! I will remind every customer who is purchasing from this place, must ensure all your hot food from the hot section must be completely sealed, otherwise you never know what you could catch from an opened box that you bought from here...

No service because it’s all prepared food. I thought they will cook my teryaki chicken fresh, but it’s another fast food meal and the quality is terrible and too salty and showered the teryaki and the rice with soy sauce. Sushi and other things in the shelf’s. Not sure how fresh it is. For more than a 8£ for teryaki, better have a proper meal at MacD

Itsu in strand, Ldn 🇬🇧 The restaurant is next to the charring cross station and is one of the many itsu you can find in London, they sell cheap sushis that you get to choose when entering the restaurant as well as other dishes that you can order at the counter (for example miso soup, noodles, …) The great thing is that starting 9:30pm every sushi’s are 50% off which is a great deal many people do not know about. The sushi’s themselves are average, good for the price!

The rolls I got had way too much sesame outside the rice, overpowered everything else that was going on. One of the worst sushi’s I’ve had…

When I visited I just bought some plain salmon sushi. Honestly, I was expecting a lot more after reading all the positive reviews. The food really wasn't great, especially when considering the higher price when one's dining in. The atmosphere was lovely, though. It's modern, there's a lot of natural light and the wooden interior makes for a warm and clean impression.

Cannot be faulted. In and out in less than 5 min every single time. The noodle bowels are consistently good. They’ve removed the plastic forks (thanks guys!!!). It’s noisy so I don’t dine in, but the fast efficient service is exactly what you need during the lunchtime rush.

Just around the corner From Trafalgar Square and next to Charing Cross Station. It's easy to find and was not overly busy especially for a Friday lunchtime. Food was freshly cooked, was delicious and was reasonabley priced. Drinks were expensive though. Will definitely go back.

The food was decent but the attitude of the lady who served us was disgusting (likely the manager) and she couldn’t really speak clearly and was making us feel like we were as incompetent as her. Unbelievably rude for no reason at all. Maybe some customer service training would help out with her issue and a change of job if she doesn’t enjoy it!

因為趕看戲、 匆忙在這看起來新潮的餐廳，希望可以快速吃點食物～握壽司不都一樣嗎？ 沒想到吃到假的日本料理⋯ 握壽司吃不到鮭魚的鮮味、 細卷內的酪梨是硬又脆的（或者其實它是小黃瓜？我誤會了？） 味增湯的味道…很奇妙… 女兒說唯一能吃的是湯內的豆腐， 老公說唯一能吃的是薑片。 看完戲，立刻找了間有日本廚師掌廚的店家再補吃一頓9壓壓驚😱

我來自亞洲的國家，我覺得這邊的壽司相當的不新鮮都是冰的而且湯也不好喝我。

Si no quieres gastar mucho tiempo y dinero y quieres comer un sushi bastante aceptable, Itsu es una gran opción. Autoservicio eficiente, con buena disponibilidad de producto y una calidad más que decente a un gran precio. 100% recomendable.

Having recently visited your Strand site for dinner, it was a surprise, and disappointment to discover that your company refuses to accept cash (legal tender) as payment for drinks and food etc. I asked the male server why this restrictive and divisive policy was in place and he said didn't know other than its cashless for covid... which as we all know, is, and has not been an "emergency" issue for retailers for more than a year. As cash is legal tender, retailers should still have provisions in place for customers... As I do not have cards I had to leave and find somewhere else willing to take my money in order to eat. The UK government recently debated this matter in Parliament on 20th March due to increasing pressure from the public needing and wanting to use cash on 20th March 2023. This matter falls within the Financial Services and Markets Bill 2022-23, (in case you were not aware,) and is currently in the committee stage in the House of Lords, which includes provisions to *protect access to cash. Given times are increasingly harder than ever before, and particularly for hospitality businesses like yours, I would have thought you would be actively trying to ensure all people are catered for, and encourage the continued running of their venue, rather than adding barriers and obstacles to business?  Covid was partly used as an excuse by many because people wrongly believed it could be transmitted on cash... This has long been proven incorrect and an unsubstantiated fear.  Covid was also used as a catalyst for bringing upon a digitalised system to an unaware public, however many businesses, particularly independents (which I would prefer to support) reverted to accepting cash again now that the pandemic is over.  Refusing to accept cash is especially frustrating when you are on a budget, and perhaps are at the limit on cards so literally cannot afford to go into overdraft. It is also extremely shortsighted to rely wholly on internet/ digital services which can and do often fail, leaving you without service and losing money.  Not to mention it is discriminatory and embarrassing, especially for more vulnerable members of society who rely on its use.   I respectfully ask that you consider introducing accepting cash payments within your sites.  The hospitality industry was hardly supported at all, in fact it was heavily discriminated against by the UK government during 2020-2022, and I cannot understand why you are effectively doing the same to a public wishing to support you.

Copieux mais écœurant. Ma fille et moi-même avons pris un Rice bowl chicken teriyaki. Les aliments étaient frais mais beaucoup trop de sauce.. impossible de tout manger.

Awful costumer service and rude staff! I used to enjoy this Itsu for a pre-theatre bite, but yesterday I came across their manager (I think she was the manager as she was the only one not wearing the usual attire). As I was at the till, she interjected a conversation I was having with the cashier, as I had queried the price for the items I was buying, she said that the price was correct and instead of clarifying a normal question I had asked her, she rushed off clearly bothered to grab the pricing label instead of answering me, she then proceed to educate me on looking at the prices properly. Luckily she left straight after to vape just outside the store.

Da Itsu mi trovo sempre bene. Per un pranzo veloce, una breve sosta è l'ideale. Si trovano zuppe calde, pietanze vegetariane, sushi. Tutto ben confezionato e l'igiene mi sembra ad un buon livello. Si può pranzare seduti o scegliere il take away.

Delicious food but can be a bit pricey

The food was delicious & the atmosphere welcoming. Negatives are that they refused payment in pound sterling & for some reason the quiet corner of the restaurant is where they play the music the loudest, so there's nowhere to have a conversation.

Standard itsu offering in a very busy location. Sitting by the window makes it somewhat enjoyable, otherwise it's just another sushi/fast food place

Excellent food quality. Portion is a little bit small. Fair price and healthy.

It is really FAST food. Most items in the menu are already ready to pick up in boxes, except soups and noodles. The shushi tasted OK, the soups were average. If you are hungry and in a hurry, go for it, otherwise it is just an average quality sushi place.

Das Essen schmeckte mir nicht so gut. Die Dumplings waren verkocht und fielen auseinander. Allgemein war das Essen recht geschacklos. Auch wenn man im Laden isst, gibt es alles in der Takeaway-Verpackung. Das Servicepersonal war auch nicht gerade motiviert oder sehr freundlich.

Very nice dine-in environment. It is not the Japanese style I knew, a bit creative and fusion. Overall, it is good dining experience but if you are looking for “Japanese” food, maybe check the menu before you go.

Very convenient healthy chain eatery, close to Trafalgar Square and Charing Cross. Quick service. Toilets are available but you need to buy food to access. There is a code on the bottom of the receipt for access to the toilet. The toilet was open and didn’t need the code when I checked.

Doesn't seem to have the the enthusiasm of nearby wasabi. Food was fine, interest of staff and customers was poor
