Went for sunday lunch wanted to go to the downstairs bar but got there to early so I went to the upstairs bar and got served by carolina who very kindly rang to see if it was open it wasn't but appreciated her efforts so I ordered a Sunday roast upstairs it didn't take long for it to come and it was delicious carolina checked to see if everything is OK she is brilliant and made me feel like a valued customer very friendly and a lovely meal recommend it to anyone who is in london

We use this pub a lot as drinks, food and service are reliably good. Pub inside is beautifully furnished and appropriately so being opposite Trafalgar Square.

As a Fuller's fan I like to seek out different outlets. This is a new pub on me and 'The Admiralty' at Trafalgar Square didn't disappoint. We only had a passing pint and crisps but service was pleasant, beer well kept, location good and atmosphere buzzing. We sat in a curved window corner, chatted and watched the world go by. We will return and dine as well for sure.

Despite making our dinner reservation weeks in advance, we were shut out. When we arrived, the hostess informed us that they had a large group, so the kitchen would be closed for 15 or 20 minutes. We decided to just make the best of it, but when we got to our table, the server informed us that the kitchen would be closed for 40 minutes and perhaps longer. They were apologetic, but the bottom line is that we got an “Oh, well”, rather than “Won’t you please be our guest for a beverage or an appetizer while you wait.” So have to rate this visit a zero.

Went there twice while in London. Both times, great service and food was very good. Had the charcuterie board, fish and chips and chicken pie. Our server Harpreet (who served us both times) was great! Bitters were great and the atmosphere was nice! Would recommend.

After walking around London all morning, we decided to go for lunch here. The fish and chips were delicious and all clean plates. The wine and Guinness were not bad either. Reasonably priced considering the location. Recommend the fis and chips

First, we did not know the football/soccer game was on so the place was packed to the gills. We opted to sit outside and ordered dessert and cocktails. Once I muscled my way through the crowd and stood up to the bar the nice gentleman took my order and made our espresso martinis with the utmost care and took his time and they were perfect and delicious. The sticky toffee pudding and warm brownie were delicious as well. Nice location for people watching too.

Extremely loud. Not a place to eat with family in the evening. Food ok, nothing special. We had dinner only, members under 18 so we must leave before 9 for that reason.

We all ordered the Fish and Chips and were not dissapointed. The fish was too hot to eat at first, which is a good thing in my opinion and the chips were perfectly cooked, the Curry sauce was awsome but the Tartare sauce lacked anything special about it. The only critique I have is I could not navigate the stairs and maze to reach the loo down the tight stairs, otherwise it was a great meal, and not a bad price for the location.

We visited here for lunch on St. Patrick's day. There was a band playing which was really good entertainment. The fish pie was so good!! The service was excellent and will recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Came in for lunchtime drinks on a sunny busy mid-day and of course it's a very busy area. Great service from staff who knew who was next to be served and nice atmosphere inside. Def pop in here again when next in the area on a weekend visit.

We ate here 5 years ago and as we were in the area and needed food we decided to try it again. We were given a table on the ground floor but as the music was very loud and we had to shout at each other we asked to move downstairs. It was early evening so not terribly busy. We ordered 3 pies, 2 meat and one chicken. There was also an order of fish and chips. The pies didn’t disappoint. Full to the brim with meat. The fish was bigger than the plate! And also very tasty. It’s an ideal place to eat if you’re in the area.

Terrible Service: I booked a table for 8 people at 11am to catch up with family after doing a 10k raising money for cancer research uk. Upon arrival at 11:00 we had to wait outside for 5 minutes in the rain as the pub had not opened yet. When the pub opened I asked where our table was and the lady in charge of bookings said ‘it is downstairs but downstairs doesn’t open till 11:30’ I questioned what I should do in the meantime and how it was unfair I had been allocated a table in a part of the pub which was not open and the staff member in charge of bookings was extremely rude, raised her voice and told me I should just sit wherever the **** I wanted. It was emotional morning for my friends and I and the least we expected was for the admiralty to honour our reservation and treat us respectfully. I am extremely disappointed and will be escalating this further.

You advertise u r a six nation pub and to book a six nations table yet you do not play the sound to the game. The music was very loud and over powered any atmosphere! Shocking don’t book!!!

We booked a table to have dinner before going to the theatre and was given a table on the balcony area. We were looked after by the lovely Priyanka, who couldn't do enough for us, from sorting another table for us which allowed more space for the sharing board, to ensuring we had everything we needed, all with a fabulous smile. We had the bar snack sharing board with a side salad which was delicious. We will definitely be back the next time we are in London!

Great selection of beers - Fullers always very quaffable, and lovely homely food served with a smile. Always enjoy a visit to The Admiralty.

Went here with a group of +15 people on Saturday after large anti-war protestsas place was filled with people from the march which ended at Trafalgar Square. Bouncer on the door however stopped me at the entrance, refused entry because of (in his words) "advertising not allowed" because I was wearing a Palestinian scarf and an antiwar pin in support of Palestinian suffering. When I pointed out there were tens of people inside with the same, including from my friends ahead of me, and asked to see the policy he started getting very, very aggressive -verbally spewing racist remarks and physically pushed me and a few others. Bystanders standing outside proactively came to us saying they would support us if we wanted to report the man to the police for aggression, and clearly, racism. Manager on duty seemed overwhelmed but sincere. Police did arrive and the man was sent home. We opted not to escalate this further but suffice to say we will never consider going there and hope the pub management force this man to take diversity and inclusion as well as anger management training.

Beautiful restaurant, however they were out of more than half of the menu when we visited, including basic pub staples like sausage, fish and chips, steak and ale pie. Instead of making this clear from the start, the waiter allowed us to order and then informed us that every single thing we wanted to eat was unavailable. Super disappointed; would never go back.

Possibly the worst pub I’ve ever been in…. And I’ve been in a few. Terrible service, poor food, bad beer yet they add on a service charge to the bill! I let that go and the server tried to short change me. 20 minutes arguing over a tenner. These people have no idea. Just avoid this place if you can there are much better places within a couple of minutes walk

The admiraly is a wonderful experience to visit set next to trafalgar sq is the history of London all around you. The atmosphere, design of the pub and friendly staff made this a fantastic visit. There menu is amazing and all the food being served looked first class. We had the Christmas menu prawn cocktail, roast turkey dinner and Christmas's pudding all three course were really tasty and served beautifully and the table was set very elegantly. The manager grazina made sure our visit was an experience we won't forget nothing was too much trouble she is fantastic as are her team There's a. Extensive range of beers ales and wines which we enjoyed. Hygiene excellants toilets very clean. The pub us very children friendly so great place for all ages to visit. There is a great outside are too will definately be returning.

Very touristy feeling spot right on Trafalgar Square but fish and chips were excellent, beer was cold, and service was good and speedy. A restaurant situated like this could probably afford to be disappointing on some level but this establishment seems well-run.

Large well spaced out traditional pub overlooking Trafalgar Square. Recently refurbished and reopened after being closed for some time due to fire damage. The staff were friendly and welcoming, service fast and efficient and prices reasonable given the location
