Delicious orange lemonade and ham and cheese pediona (I’m probably misspelling it- but it was a lovely flat Italian bread). Affordable and a good pit stop.
So so disappointed in the lack of customer service of this company. We came from Canada and booked our tour months ago, which just so happened to have landed on the night before the queens funeral, boarding at Westminster Pier directly in front of the 4-mile queue for the viewing. Being foreigners, roads were closed off like crazy, and despite us leaving early, our bus took us a completely different route. We messaged the tour operator, and when we finally showed up one-minute past due (7:46pm), the crew member looked at us as he denied us entry, then proceeded to undock the boat, and then ignored us as he drifted away (photo attached with time stamp, 7:47pm). When we phoned customer service, they refused to refund us the $75-per-person or even reschedule our tour, but rather just offered us a 50% discount on our next booking. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m shocked that there was 1. No response to our message to the tour operator, and still nothing hours later 2. no grace period, even when the entire nation is
Gorgeous wine bar in the heart of Soho . Been a few times now . Great ambiance. Think you have to book it’s seems hard to walk in . Lots of choice for wine . Also good cocktails. Great sharing platters of hummus , cheese , aubergine , halloumi . Downstairs is beautifully decorated ! Great for a date night or drinks with pals !
Nasty.
I had a horrible experience here this morning. The member of staff on duty was hostile and incredibly rude. I asked first if it was open, only to be met with yes, I’m busy serving someone (which was not apparent. They looked like co-workers chatting to me). When I tried to see if there was seating downstairs, the woman said: “There is only the kitchen down there; you can do the washing up if you like!” Unbelievably for someone working in hospitality!

Fast, efficient service from the Barista’s at Pret, no matter the time of day. I especially enjoy the Pret chocolate chip cookie, which is far superior to cookies from rival coffee chains (Starbucks et al). The cookie has the right amount of crunch, with a soft, buttery centre and generous chunks of melted chocolate chips. The cookie is simple yet flawlessly executed and always served with a smile from the friendly staff. Wow!
Love the Brixton venue, but this one paled in comparison. Wait staff was disinterested and forgot our wine. Food was so-so, and took SO long to arrive, we mostly filled up on bread (which was yum at least). Not worth the price or travel time.
Estafa total.
The dish I tried was a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The tender meat was seasoned to perfection, with a subtle hint of spices that lingered pleasantly. The vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, adding a delightful crunch to the meal. The sauce tied everything together with its rich, savory depth, complemented by a touch of sweetness. Presentation-wise, it was visually appealing, with vibrant colors and thoughtful plating. While the portion size was generous, it didn’t compromise on quality. Overall, it’s a dish that satisfies both the palate and the eyes—definitely worth trying!
We were ‘dragged’ in off the streets by a couple of members of staff touting for business and it was the best decision of the weekend in London.
Beautiful top floor setting overlooking Trafalgar Square and St Martins place.
The food was fantastic, the service first class.
I’m coeliac and the knowledge of the menu and gluten was excellent and they use a gf soy which opens up pretty much all of the menu.

We hired One Whitehall Place for a big birthday celebration and it was wonderful. Lily and the operations team went above and beyond in organising our event and giving us an amazing night. The venue was perfect, the food was amazing and our 300+ guests had the time of their lives. Thank you for everything and we would highly recommend this venue for an amazing celebration.
