Love the Brixton venue, but this one paled in comparison. Wait staff was disinterested and forgot our wine. Food was so-so, and took SO long to arrive, we mostly filled up on bread (which was yum at least). Not worth the price or travel time.

I went here based on an article I saw online and also my friend who is fan of the Brixton branch. Despite the many bad reviews on here, we decided to carry on with out booking. The restaurant was far from busy, yet it took them over two hours to serve us four small plates. I kept asking them where our food was and without any apology, kept being told that it was on its way. Every other table was in the same position, all wondering where their food was. The table next to us, asked if they could order a drink, only to be told that all the glasses were in the dishwasher at that moment. The food was very average and overpriced. I wont be recommending this place to anyone.

Close to Buckingham Palace but not too busy at lunch. Wonderful dishes with a variety of species and ingredients, but none over powering the others. Try the Ice cream, the chef's Mom's recipe. Large and unusual selection of wine.

Having been to the Naughty Piglet in Brixton several times and enjoyed memorable meals with excellent service our expectations were riding high!Sadly our visit to the Other Naughty Piglet was a disappointment. The meal was so-so, one dish was extremely poor - incomparable to their Brixton standard The service was poor, there were 2 servers for the 3 or so occupied tables. They brought wine that we had not ordered. Service was so slow, arrival of dishes was so slow that we mostly ate bread. This contrasted so strongly with Brixton where the servers are lively, knowledgeable and attentive and the food is fresh.

Dinner here with a friend recently, his first visit. I love this restaurant, tucked away, spacious seating, brilliant service and really wonderful food. Sharing type menu, staff guide you and help where necessary. All dishes are incredibly well presented and absolutely delicious. Great selection of natural wines there too. Some really interesting and tasty stuff!

We stopped in for dinner before attending a play. What a fanatic and enjoyable experience it was. Limited, but sufficient menu. We all loved the food we choose. Fine tastes. The service was great, and worked around our time for the theatre. And helped navigate the extensive organic wine list. Only disappointment was the addition of an automation 12.5% service charge.

The food here was truly incredible! We were lucky to sit at the counter and watch the chefs cooking - such a great experience. The highlight was the crab & picked cabbaged but all of the dishes we had were exceptional. Staff were lovely too.

I came here this week with a friend after visiting the Queen's Gallery, which is very near by. I had been here a year or two ago and they had wonderful little sharing plates and at that time, three of us got a number of them and really liked it. But now - they only do a full, fixed price menu at lunchtime. It's pretty good value but we had only wanted a light lunch. The smoked eel was terrific, and the salt beef quite good, though way too salty - I was craving water for ages afterwards. The orzo vegetarian main was delicious, but pretty minimal for the price. The service was quite cordial but pretty slow, and they weren't crowded. A big plus is the pleasant atmosphere and quiet of the place - we were admittedly on the late side for lunch and everything is pretty sparsely populated right now because of the virus, but it was great to be able to converse and hear one another easily. The volume in a restaurant is very important to me. My real complaint is the lack of variety and the fact that our coffee was really cold when it (finally) arrived. They can only do a filter or an expresso. I would guess that our filter coffees had been sitting around for quite a while. To their credit when I mentioned this, she took them off the bill. I would go back but only if I wanted a full 2 or 3 course lunch.

A large group of us (16) ate here ahead of going to see Hamilton, which is a short walk from this restaurant. Located in an upstairs gallery above a popular theatre The Other Naughty Piglet really hits the spot. They have an open kitchen and you can watch the chefs bustling away. Given the size of our group we had pre-ordered our food a week prior and then all promptly forgot what we had ordered. So it was a great surprise to eat some truly good food. Again, we were a large group yet all the dishes came out promptly and to a very high standard. They have a good wine list and the whole meal was extremely good value. There aren't many good restaurants in this part of London, but this is one of them!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our pre-theatre dinner here. Our waitress was lovely & advised us on a suitable wine, complementary bread & water was appreciated, service was competent, nice decor & atmosphere, & the food had lovely textures & flavours. Definitely recommended if, like us, you enjoy small sharing plates of food & good, interesting wine.

Whilst others have complained about small portions, I found the pre-theatre set menu more than adequate. The food was excellent and the service was friendly without being overbearing. It was also very good value, particularly for London. I especially liked being offered complimentary water without having to request it. Being able to go straight downstairs to the theatre at the last minute was an added bonus.

Six of us went here for pre-theatre food on my wife’s birthday. The three couples arrived in phases – we’d booked for 18:00 – but we were all seated by 18:05. The first to arrive had told the waiter that we would need to be out by 19:15. In a venue that boasts a pre-theatre menu of two or three courses, you would think that this should be easily achievable, especially if you only order two courses. Unfortunately, you would be wrong. Our order was taken at about 18:20. The starters arrived at 18:40 and we had eaten them by 18:50. After reminding the waiter shortly after 19:00 that we needed to be out by 19:15, the main courses arrived at 19:10. The food was passable but not spectacular and, bizarrely, my main of a duck egg on some kind of savoury pancake had the consistency of food that had been under a warming light for some time. It would have been better to have served everything as it became ready, given the time constraints of which the staff were aware. They were pleasant enough but I regretted not demanding that the service charge be omitted from the final bill. We won’t be back.

Made the mistake of going into a cafe where there were no other customers. I think I now know why. Visited the premises in the Square. Latte and croissant, paid immediately by card, lukewarm coffee, stale croissant then on leaving was accused of not paying. They made a check of their records and voila, it seems I had. Quite embarrassing and won’t be back.
