Delicious orange lemonade and ham and cheese pediona (I’m probably misspelling it- but it was a lovely flat Italian bread). Affordable and a good pit stop.

I needed a light supper before going to a performance at the Coliseum. The pubs were crowded and spilling onto the street so I chose Rosetta. I had a warm welcome and a large portion of beef lasagna washed down with two glasses of wine! I liked the place so much that I returned for breakfast the next day.

Nearly on Trafalgar Square but missed by many as small shop front. Very much a Italian cafe with a nice range of sandwiches hot or cold with generous portions. Small tables to eat in or take away. Pleasent staff. A number of hot meals also available.

Have visited this place loads of times and have always been greeted with a traditionally warm friendly Italian greeting. Not today. Surly man behind the counter clearly didn’t want us in the place. Said they were only serving lunches ( at 2.30!) despite the fact the the place advertises itself as a coffee shop. Most unpleasant. Too many other lovely similar places in London. Won’t be visiting again.

If you are looking for real Italian food and dedication look no further. Luciano attention to details is unparalleled. Going to Rosetta is like going back in time - the good one. Please keep it up!

I happened on this place while wandering from Covent Garden to Trafalgar. Grabbed an iced coffee and some chocolate biscuits...best coffee I have had on this trip! This is a real gem and I can't wait to go back!

Dando la vuelta al centro de Londres, encontré esta pequeña puerta blanca entre enormes cadenas de restaurantes, justo enfrente de la Galería Nacional.Tenía curiosidad y entré.Ahí fue donde comenzó la magia.Parecía que me teletransporté a Italia solo cruzando esa puerta blanca.¡Excepcional! ! Comida italiana genuina y de la mejor calidad, excelente café y personal súper acogedor.Al final de una conversación realmente divertida, el gerente me ofreció el primer y único café que todos me habían ofrecido en Londres.Nunca lo olvidaré.

Rosetta is amazing! Food quality is excellent and the service is fast and friendly. The staff are so welcoming, accomodating and very kind!

As two Italians we really enjoined our lunch at Rosetta! We ordered a small board of meat for 2 people, which was brought to us with bread as a starter. Then we ordered gnocchi al gorgonzola, super delicious !! Water and coffe. In total we spent 36 euros. Perfect place for our London trip.

I would rather go somewhere where I can get a delicious British cheeseboard. By all means, this is a perfectly acceptable place but we ordered a cheeseboard and the prosciutto was not fresh and unfortunately the burrata was frozen in the middle. If you are Italian, or a true foodie, you won't be impressed. Furthermore, the service was very slow and we had to ask many times to be served and get a menu (we booked.)

Locale arredato con semplicità, personale e titolari gentilissimi, cucina in vero stile made in Italy. La tipica rosetta che dà il nome al locale, buonissima, farcita con salumi freschi e genuini. Prezzo giusto. Lo consiglio. Buona vita!

Authentic flavours from home. We had 3 rosettas with mortadella, mozzarella, pesto, tomatoes, etc and they were delicious and exactly like the ones you find in Italy grocery shops. We'll be back for sure

With only a few tables , lots of home made food , good coffee and friendly staff there's lots to like about Rosetta . Its not a high end restaurant rather a place for a small range of light Italian meals , good home cooking , and reasonable prices . The staff were very friendly and explained the dishes etc . The lasagne was excellent , the cold meat platter a bit limited in variety ( no slam as I'd have expected ) but lovely homemade fresh bread , olive oil etc

A really nice cafe not far from Trafalgar Square. Limited menu but that's fine as what is on there is very good. The staff were very polite and friendly if a little scatty in a very nice way:) Thought it was good value for central London.

Quite expensive, not as good as expected but the show is good and the pasta are homemade. The service is ok but could be better

I've visited Rosetta several times now, with family, friends and on my own for a quick lunch and it is an absolute gem in an area overpopulated with Prets and other uninspiring and overpriced cafe chains. The food at Rosetta is always delicious, fresh and authentic, the service so welcoming and friendly and the place itself has a great relaxed atmosphere. If you want proper aperitivo outside of Italy, Thursday nights here is where you'll find it and their spritz is the best in London!

ラザニアをテイクアウェイしました。店構えはシンプルで、最初は？？と思いましたが味は間違いなし。熱々で牛肉ギッシリ、かつ脂っこくなくとても美味しかったです！１人で行っても全然大丈夫でした。

Molto originale.. Un Panino Rosetta a 2 passi da Convent Garden, prezzi nella norma vista la posizione, abbiamo preso un panino con Mortadella e provola, un insalata con Crudo di Parma veramente ad hoc, per finire un ottimo espresso... Il vero Espresso.

Ho mangiato in questo locale, il personale non è stato molto accogliente ma il panino che abbiamo preso era davvero buono, con il pane caldo e croccante, BUONO.

everyone at the surrounding tables is speaking Italian! I was skeptical because of the location but oh man am I glad I listened to my husband. The best panino I’ve had outside of Florence! The bread and meat were so fresh and light I could have died of happiness at the first bite. Simple sandwiches perfectly executed and served in a bright cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Authentic Italian. Small choice but everything of high quality. Bruschettas delicious. Lasagna v popular choice. Veggie option available. good value and feels Like real Italy in the midst of chain and back to back over - touristy restaurants . Restaurant was full but Italian family offered half their table space which was decent and welcome since they could have turned us away. And everyone who came in after us was asked if they had a reservation. Feels homely/personal since a lot of the cooking takes place literally beside you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO GO HERE!!!

Really pleased to have eaten here having found it by accident looking out of the window of the chain sandwich shop over the road. Very friendly service, lovely bread, the meats were great and the beer was lovely. Will definitely be back next time we are in London town

We popped in for a cup of cappucino but ended up ordering nibbles. Very reasonably priced (cheaper than your average coffee chain!). Next door (same owners I think) is a fantastic Italian food shop. Well worth a visit if you are walking from Covent Garden to the Strand.

Abbiamo trovato casualmente questo localino italiano nel centro di Londra e ci siamo rifugiati qui con la nostra bimba per una merenda e per scappare da un caotico sabato pomeriggio pre-natalizio. Abbiamo gustato 3 ottime fette di torta, veramente speciali! I gestori sono gentilissimi e abbiamo anche fatto delle piacevoli chiacchiere. Grazie e in bocca al lupo per tutto!

I was there with my friends and I really missed such a typical Italian panino like they do.

We popped in after seeking somewhere out of the cold to grab something hot for lunch. Thought we’d just have panini but were tempted after seeing someone else eating the Gnocchi Gorgonzola - it didn’t disappoint! Hot, melty, cheesy, potatoey goodness. Also had some warm ciabatta and Parma ham. All tasty and fresh. With a drink between us, a hot lunch for two was £24 which is great for central London and it was absolutely delicious.

We went there for lunch before seeing a show for my mums birthday.

Quality fresh food & good portions aswell. Friendly service and wine recommendations. Great for a light meal before visiting the theatre.

Nothing to say about their panini, the bread is amazing, maybe even better than in italy, soft and never too cooked. The rosetta with mortadella reminds me my childhood.

We were there for a pre-theatre bite, were actually looking for Italian restaurant. Rosetta is more a cafe-style establishment. However, everything was fresh and tasty. Lasagne was so big, we shared it with a friend.

this is a cafe style Italian food spot, I went there for a quick bite, the vibe was good, but the food was so average especially the lasagne was overcooked and bland.

Locale molto carino e pulito, ampia scelta per quanto riguarda i condimenti delle rosette, buone anche le lasagne. Molto gentili e disponibili i camerieri; vivamente consigliato per un pranzo veloce ed economico.

This place was great. I ordered the Lasagna. And it came as a very good size! The ingredients were all fresh. The taste of the lasagna was great, and i loved the greens on the side. It made it even more fresh. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. Very bright and opening. The staff were all very friendly. I’d return again.

I paid £7 (including service charge) for a flatbread which contained tough, burnt aubergine. Very disappointing.

Found this magical (small) eatery on TA and after a long foot-slog around London it was time to relax.

A round of drinks and a smallish one off board of aperitivo for £12 a head. Not the real spirit of the thing at all. It is inelegant to take advantage of aperitivo – it’s not supposed to be a “free meal” but there is a spirit of generosity of putting these tasters out and letting people help themselves a little, that was entirely missing.

After reading the top reviews, we decided to give this cozy, little café a go and we weren't disappointed. Coffee was amazing and bruschettas were full on flavour. The kindness of staff was highly appreciated.

I love Italian deli-type food and was keen to try Rosetta based on the (generally) good reviews; however, I thought the menu was limited and the intensity of the flavours of the food was poor, compared with other Italian cafes I have visited both in the UK and Italy. Coffee and wine were nice, but dessert (Tiramisu) also fairly bland compared to others I have tasted. Staff all seemed Italian and were friendly and helpful, but overall I was a bit disappointed and was at least pleased that it wasn't excessively expensive.

In una settimana trascorsa a Londra, per ben due volte abbiamo pranzato in questo piccolo ma delizioso locale in pieno centro, vicino Trafalgar Square. Io e mio marito e i nostri due ragazzi abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo sia i panini, squisiti e abbondanti, che le lasagne davvero ottime. Da sottolineare il servizio ineccepibile e la grande cortesia del personale. Tutto perfetto! Complimenti.

Came by it to grab some cold soft drink and a sweet bite. Great staff, great local and great lemonade but the carrot cake we ate was dry and tasted like it had been there for a couple of days. It wouldve been a clear 5 star otherwise.

I ragazzi (Andrea e Sasha) sono giovani, italiani, molto simpatici e molto accoglienti.

Il piccolo locale, alle spalle di Trafalgar square, è l’ideale per uno spuntino all’ora di pranzo: panini, piadine, insalate...fatti con il cuore e con ingredienti ottimi. Il pane arriva fresco da un forno di Wimbledon gestito da un siciliano, i salumi vengono affettati al momento, pomodori e mozzarelle di qualità... insomma, se siete stufi di fish and chips, hamburger o piatti a base di burro e di panna con le prugne...ebbene, questo è il luogo per disintossicarsi e ricordare come si mangia (BENE!!!) in Italia. Da provare!

We went for lunch and we ordered the mixed cheese and meat plate for 2 people but we were disappointed to just have a few slices of cheese and ham for 16 pounds . There wasnt enough effort put in the dish , it didnt look any better than what you could get from supermarket

Ci siamo stati mentre eravamo in giro per musei, ideale per un panino al volo. Materie prime di ottima qualità e fresche. Panini ottimi, il tiramisù è da provare. Personale italiano, cordiale e gentilissimo.

Consigliatoci dalla nostra bravissima guida, abbiamo mangiato in un ristorante davvero italiano dopo due giorni di hamburger. Il locale è piccolino ma accogliente, il personale cortese. Ci è sembrato di essere in Italia!

Wandered in here after a hot sweaty day around London. This place is fantastico. Absolutely delicious Buratta and Roma (aubergine) salads and fantastic value. Perfect espresso to finish. This place is a gem.

Fresh and tasty. Very friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. Piadina Antonio and Panini Luca were wonderful. Finish off with espresso and tiramisu.

Went to Rosetta for lunch, absolutely superb. Everything is made with fresh ingredients. We had Parma ham, rocket salad and burrata mozzarella served with fresh hot bread, soooo delicious. The wine was very good too. The service was efficient and very welcoming. All the meals I saw served looked exceptional and the price very reasonable indeed for the quality of food, particularly in such a prime location, just off Trafalgar Square, near the National Gallery. Will definitely be back.

They do have lovely salads and meats and cheeses, but when I asked about gluten free, the man at front counter kind of sighed and said ‘yes, but no gf bread, sorry.’ I think perhaps they have had that question a lot.

You know when an Italian restaurant is good when local Italians are going to eat there. I had a delicious lasagne and my daughter had spaghetti. Very yummy and quite reasonable too.

We had a late lunch here. It was great, fresh and good quality ingredients and a friendly atmosphere. I saw one of the guys behind the counter eating a panini that looked good so they made one the same for me. My wife had one of their speciality flatbreads and obviously enjoyed that too. And very reasonably priced, a bonus.

Amazing value at a fantastic price. Fresh food, great bread. Really loved my salad. Just steps away from some of London’s busiest galleries and West End theatres. Will definitely visit again!

Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta delle prestazioni di questo locale, a un passo dalla Nation al Gallery. I ragazzi che lo gestistiscono sono molto gentili, il locale è ben arredato, tutto è molto curato. Ma è il cibo italiano a emergere veramente, lasagne gustose e ben condite, salumi italiani di qualità, ma soprattutto tiramisu e torte ottime. Consiglio caldamente il locale anche perchè il rapporto qualità prezzo è davvero molto buono

Menù basato su prodotti realmente italiani e realmente di qualità. Prezzi onesti. Ambiente simpatico e accogliente. Una bella idea la possibilità di ricarare (gratis) i telefonini tramite cavo usb (non serve insomma la presa all'inglese). Una tappa consigliata. Veramente bello

I chose this restaurant because of on TripAdvisor I read some good opinions, and it was a good choice:) I ate great lasagne.

Unpretentious surroundings serving a simple and limited variety of food. That said, however, the selection on offer was very well presented, plentiful and tasted heavenly. I chose the Lasagna which I cannot recommend highly enough. The young staff were also welcoming, helpful and above all, friendly. We shall most certainly revisit this pleasant restaurant during any future visits to London.

These guys keep it simple and serve beautiful food. Fresh, simple, tasty. Nice salted beef for me. A delicious baked ham panino for my partner. Crunchy bruscheta for both of us. Excellent wine and lovely tiramisu. Highly recommended if you are nearby.

Cant explain how tasty their italian food is and atmosphere is a plus point! What I loved the most about them is their lasagne! Also its located at centre of London. Must try!

Well, we make regular trips to London for theatre and galleries, but assuming that the date in the WiFi code is the year the cafe opened, it has taken us four years to discover this gem. We called in for an early lunch yesterday before visiting the National Portrait Gallery close by and it was a total delight. Friendly, welcoming staff, a bright interior and great tasting food. There are many attractive options on the menu for us to enjoy and we will be back soon.

My favourite day is Thursday from 5.00pm when Rosetta serves the real italian aperitivo. A rich buffet of Northern Italian nibbles that goes perfectly well with an Aperol or a Campari spritz.

The food is simple but very good, panini’s salads, etc , good wines , teas and puddings as well , highly recommend

It’s a small place with a very welcoming staff. The food was okay, I appreciate the piadina but the gnocchi wasn’t good in my opinion, too much oily and overcooked. To be honest I was expecting something more from the reviews.

Very tasty tuna salads, freshly prepared and generous portions. Gorgeous bread was horribly more-ish so we ate more than we ought! My husband enjoyed his cappuccino so much that he had two. Said it was lovely and smooth and delicious. Service was warmly friendly and the timing was perfect. Highly recommend this place for lunch.

Ein sehr kleines italienisches Restaurant ein bischen beengt aber gemütlich. Die Speisekarte ist sehr übersichtlich besteht hauptsächlich aus Pannini sind aber sehr lecker.Alles Frisch und ansprechent zubereitet. Der Service sehr freundlich . I booked this cafe after reading the good reviews and as we wanted somewhere close to Trafalgar square. We were so delighted with our experience! The cafe was lovely; pretty and welcoming. We were a group of 8 and we loved sitting around the big wooden table together- just felt so friendly and relaxed.Service was good and the food excellent. Most had lasagna and two of us the Gnocchi and we all had salad. Tiramisu was great. Only tiny thing was that cake desserts didn't come with any cream or ice cream so were a little dry - I don't know if we could have asked for some?

Popped in for a light lunch, absolutely delicious, the Luca (grilled aubergine, mozzarella and pesto ) is delicious. Great wine to match my dish......perfect lunch experience........ not the best pic of my dish but was super excited and took a bite out of it before taking a pic

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Es gibt allerdings nicht viel Auswahl auf der Karte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen kam nach 10 Minuten. Das Restaurant ist klein und persönlich und verleitet dazu länger zu bleiben.

We spent a late lunch here on Saturday. The title says it all. The food is good. Great fresh bread - fresh and good quality ham, salami and mortadella and good cheese.
