Bisushima in City of London, Westminster

We were ‘dragged’ in off the streets by a couple of members of staff touting for business and it was the best decision of the weekend in London. Beautiful top floor setting overlooking Trafalgar Square and St Martins place. The food was fantastic, the service first class. I’m coeliac and the knowledge of the menu and gluten was excellent and they use a gf soy which opens up pretty much all of the menu.

Bisushima is a foodie’s paradise! I dine there frequently and it never fails to impress me and my guests. Beautiful terrace, spacious and pristine bar area, gorgeous interior inside the vast restaurant: very comfortable seatings no matter where you choose to sit. Staff are very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. They cannot do enough for you to make your visit a memorable occasion. Food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Yes portions are on a smaller side but it is a part of fine dining 😊 All dishes are exquisitely and professionally executed with the freshest top quality ingredients. It’s an open kitchen so you can watch the chefs working their magic in front of your own eyes. My favourite dishes include Yellowtail carpaccio with truffles (almost too pretty to eat), braised octopus which is so tender that you probably don’t need teeth to eat it 🤣. Wagyu risotto is so so so good and dangerously addictive. They use authentic Japanese wagyu from Koushu which literally, really literally, melts in your mouth. It isn’t cheap but I guarantee you won’t regret it. Sushi platter is like works of art: aesthetically pleasing, absolutely fresh with the best ingredients and the taste is indescribably amazing. They use ‘akazu’ red vinegar to season rice which brings out the natural sweetness of top quality Japanese rice. I don’t have a sweet tooth thus don’t usually order desserts in other restaurants but the desserts at Bisushima are something else. Miso cheesecake is addictive and mesmerising, peach Melba bursts with flavour and Macha tiramisu is to die for. I recommend this wonderful establishment to anyone who appreciates quality food cooked with love and passion, who enjoys luxury ambience and fantastic hospitality.

Michelin star deserved restaurant with impeccable service and imaginative Japanese food you'd name as your last meal. We absolutely loved it. Have eaten at 2 star Michelin restaurants and this is up there with the best. Congratulations on achieving something very special. I'm already thinking when can I revisit.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff went above and beyond nothing was too much and all of them seemed like they acutally wanted to be a there, the food was amazing and in a fab location.

Siamo andati per un cocktail, ci hanno fatto scegliere tra l’interno, con temperatura polare, o l’esterno. La terrazza era priva di illuminazione. Cocktail mediocri e quando abbiamo chiesto degli snack ci è stato detto se volevamo chips dello chef, abbiamo detto ok e ci sono arrivate olive e chips per poi scoprire che costavano 11 sterline. Quando siamo usciti abbiamo visto che altri clienti erano stati fatti accomodare nella terrazza illuminata. pessimo

Speechless! I love the food in here, and the place is amazing, the rooftop has the best view. You definitely need to try the sea bass and the matcha cake, it’s everything!

Came for a business lunch last week all the dishes were excellent with a couple of splendid bloody Mary’s. My guest was very impressed with the service and balcony views. Highly recommend and will be going back soon!

Top quality food, good view, sadly a large event on Friday night so we did not get table on terrace. A recommend from me, but the music was so loud on Friday night it ruined my dinner. I noticed it seems to be a trend restaurants feel they have to have music on full blast. I couldn't have a conversation, and finished my food quickly and went outside. When it gets so loud, it's a torture for me.

Visiting with my friend to the restaurant I have faced an unexpected surprise. I have booked a table at 19:00 in Bisushima. Everything was going great when I arrived and was sat at the table at 18:55. Then I started to receive calls from an unknown number while being with my friend. I haven’t responded. It was the Restaurant calling me about not attending my booking when I was sitting in the restaurant. After that They tried to take 50£ off my card for not attending when I was there. They tried twice and my card got frozen, which has made me expenses to get a new card. I called the restaurant after as my card got frozen to fix the issue. They told me to email them to get a compensation, however I haven’t got any reply. A huge disappointment, making me not trust this restaurant again with my card details.
