Great place with amazing atmosphere. Every dish was presented incredibly! It was valantines day, so the restaurant. The restaurant had prepared a rose for every lady at every table. There were specially prepared menus for the occasion - frozen roses, smoke, flowers. I am sure that even on a day without a holiday the kitchen and the effort will be the same. Exceptional attention to customers and detail. Loved!

Best japanese I have ever had in London!! They also have incredible drinks. I went quite some time ago, and I still think about it often because it was that delicious. Obviously on the higher-end price, but worth every penny. Would highly recommend going with a small group & sharing lots of plates- that's what we did and it worked out perfectly! The service was fast, and the overall vibes of the place is really cool, quite a dark and edgy feel to it.

Beautiful setting though we weren’t very impressed with the food - the tiramisu and the chocolate desserts were excellent, and the tuna carpaccio and the nigiri were good (although we went for the 6 piece chef’s selection and were a bit disappointed when they gave us 2 pieces of 3 types instead of 6 different ones), however we did not enjoy the lobster or the cod mains (lacking flavour). It’s also quite expensive, which made the flavour miss more evident. That said, the service is good and the ambiance is lovely.

Please don’t bother to come here! The service is horrible. -And food is passable. Don’t forget you are in London! It’s a Food Heaven! This place needs to reinvent!

Came here before when it was a different restaurant and it has changed a lot, but the food was great, the views are lovely and we had a wonderful afternoon of eating and drinking before Christmas. The waiters are attentive and polite, the restaurant is lovely.

The food was nice and beautifully presented but it was not exceptional and felt overpriced for the small portions. We had a 50% offer but it would have cost us over £120pp otherwise for food and one glass of wine each. Despite having a rooftop reservation, we got moved downstairs due to a private party after about an hour which was frustrating as this wasn’t communicated upon arrival. Between the two of us, we shared the octopus karaage, prawn tempura maki crispy rice with spicy tuna and avocado puree (all nice), hokkaido scallop with foie gras and crispy leek (delicate and great flavour), wagyu croquettes (could barely taste the wagyu), otoro sashimi (good), aubergine robata (the miso flavour was way too intense) and the mochi selection for dessert (this was just little moons - I expecting something restaurant made at those prices). The service overall was polite but they didn't go out of their way.

We’ve had amazing moment here. The food, the decor, the tableware, the staff, all full of statement saying “Customers are king” You’d be spoil rotten by the service. Its almost like being in japan without having to fly outside uk 😉

The decor is stunning and beautiful and it creates a serene environment. One of the managers Yava greeted us with genuine smiles and exceptional hospitality, making us feel right at home. Now onto the food—every dish was a work of art! We started with the sashimi platter, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The flavours were delicate yet vibrant, showcasing the true essence of Japanese cuisine. For the main course, I tried the wagyu beef Steak, and it was simply divine—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. I also appreciated the thoughtful selection of sake and traditional Japanese teas, which paired perfectly with our meal. The dessert, a matcha tiramisu, was the perfect end to our culinary journey, balancing sweet and earthy flavors flawlessly. Sachi is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Japanese culture and cuisine. I can't recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return for another exquisite meal!

The restaurant could be better sign posted. It is inside the Pantechnicon on the top floor but could not see any signs. We went for early lunch and only one other table was in use. The staff were helpful in explaining the food and drink options and were knowledgeable. We went with the starter Miso soup(well made) and Oysters(ok) and for mainChef Sushi & Sashimi platter. Lovely presentation. However, the food itself was mediocre. Nothing wrong with it per se but the taste was same as high street sushi. Tried the cocktail Tokushima NAvy on the staff recommendation. Excellent drink.

Disappointing. We dined in Satchi last year and it was good. This year they changed the menu, the chef and staff and nothing we ate was good but we ate as we were starving. The quality of fish is so low grade. The yellowtail was not good at all. The only thing we enjoyed was the mushroom roll.

Beautifully design japanese restaurant in a beautiful building, with 2 levels, one being a fine dining experience and the other a very cool roof top. Food was excellent...and that Wagyu! Terrific! Highly recommended.

I have tried black cod as been suggested, aubergine as well and cannot describe a more pleasant taste, as an Italian I am not so easy on food but in this case I am so impressed. Food and service are unbelievable. YAVA is the person you want to meet, really kind and charming

We had dinner at Sachi this Thursday and when we arrived, the place was already buzzing. We ordered various sakes and food, and were always well introduced. We felt welcomed, a truly beautiful experience. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve been to this restaurant before when it was on the lower ground floor, and I've always enjoyed it. However, after their move to the second floor and the exciting changes to the menu, I have to say it’s even more impressive now. We enjoyed being served by Adrian, a lovely French waiter whose warmth and vibrant energy made a big difference. He really took the time to suggest some fantastic dishes for us. The sommelier, whose name sadly slipped my mind, was so thoughtful as he searched through the extensive wine list across both restaurants to find an Austrian Riesling that perfectly matched our meal. It was just what we were hoping for. The food was a true highlight: we started with the Scallops with Foie gras and Yellowtail served with two sauces, then enjoyed some hearty aubergine and another hot dish, before wrapping things up with a selection of Nigiris, including the otoros and unagi. The mushroom rolls were a delightful surprise, and we finished on a high note with some rich chocolate cheesecake for dessert. The only downside was that the music was a bit too loud, making the restaurant noisier than I would have liked. Overall, though, it was a lovely experience.

The waiter spilled drinks on my friend’s coat ruining it completely, after emailing the restaurant they simply stopped replying and accused us of lying as they couldn’t ‘prove’ that this was the case.. Ignorant management

My friend hosted a large private dinner which was all going fine until the waiter spilled 2 espresso martinis on my coat and jacket, which were completely destroyed. I was frustrated but didn’t want to ruin the party so just went home and brought the garments to the dry cleaners. December coincided with the Christmas period, so I only found out abut the damage this caused and the price for the clean in January when I reached out to the restaurant who was completely ignorant of my problem and denied any responsibility, confirming that none of the waiters who worked on the evening remember the accident and that CCTV footage has been already deleted. Awful experience, now I have to pay more than the price of the whole dining experience to get my coat and jacket fixed and I didn’t even get a proper apology or compensation from the restaurant.

A restaurant where you can eat delicious Japanese food and sushi in the heart of London. I used it with a few friends at night. The building has a white exterior. Stands out with club-like lighting As you go down to the basement, you will find a spacious and nice store. There is a counter, table and bar. Looks like there's a hidden safe as well. Sashimi, sushi, grilled fish, meat and I ordered a lot of things and shared them. They are all delicious The miso soup is also comforting and delicious. Since I came overseas, I continued to eat non-Japanese food. I felt relieved Looks beautiful too Each item comes out elegantly. One of the hostesses is rude, disrespectful and could not deal in a professional way with me while I was discussing why I got declined entering to from a certain gate (cafe and restaurant issues). She could have dealt with it in a professional way and deescalated. However she choose to escalate it and then raised her voice telling to get out? On what bases? This is very discriminatory and disrespectful. I did not raise my voice but still she choose to escalate the situation. Very discriminative and unprofessional way to deal with costumers. The hostess name is Elenora she even offered to spell her name for me. Very impolite.

Great place for a celebratory dinner! Sushi was superb quality (we got the chef's selection) and dishes were overall excellent, however it feels a tad overpriced for what it is. Dessert of apricot brioche with creme brulee rice pudding was stunning though. Not sure if I would return for dinner but perhaps their lunch set may be better value for money.

Sensational food Impeccable service

We had dinner here and we’re very pleased to have a fantastic service. The food is ok, nothing special to be honest and not worth the high prices. We ordered the rib eye robata for example and that looked / tasted like a normal pan fried steak. Wagyu croquettes- not much taste and quite expensive. The sashimi was outstanding however. £200+ and we didn’t even drink alcohol (2 people).

The service was very slow, the dishes we were recommended ended up being very smelly fish that we were unable to eat.

I am a big foodie and have travelled all around the world to hunt for the best eateries. I can safely say Sachi is on my top 10 best eats. The specific dish that made me shortlist Sachi is the dessert. The dessert in question was the brioche with rice pudding and jasmine tea ice cream. I literally saw god when I ate this. It’s the most delectable, pleasurable and innovative dish ever. The mains I got that also were 10/10 was the sliced ribeye, sushi rolls and poldren peppers. All to die for, all cooked to perfection and served with love. The chefs of course deserve my kudos and gratitude for making our meal. A sincere thank you from me and my partner. We had a tough week due to personal reasons and this made it bearable. There is some serious talent in the Sachi kitchen. My final comment is how awesome the staff are. They are very attentive, passionate and indeed interesting people! I enjoyed their personalities immensely! They were not the bog standard boring servers, they had charisma and charm. Our waiter (I regret not asking his name but he was a handsome Blondie gentleman with a foreign accent) was knowledgeable about the menu and made sure we were happy with everything. He was top class. As was the other very blonde waitress and dark haired manager. Brilliant experience here, I will shut up now.. will most definitely be back. Thanks again! Xx

The 5 star rating goes to the 2 champions of the house. First, I was taken care of by Yava. She role-models the service delivery you expect to have in such a nice restaurant, catering to every need with attention to details and big smiles everytime! The second champion was the dessert I had, vanilla rice pudding with warm apple brioche and caramel sauce. After 5 dishes I ate, it still got the eye widening effect after the first bite! Every element tastes so delish so you can have it separately. The brioche was done so well, crispy and caramelized on the outer layers, and soft inside layered with apple pieces, caramel sauce was divine!!! The rice pudding was perfectly mild-sweet. The nuance flavour and cold element was so addictive! Best dessert I had in a long long time. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Superb and serene. Great service. We came in on a Monday for lunch. Had our pick of tables. Sushi with a twist but with great technical undertones. They also gave us an anniversary surprise. Super classy spot.

I am so disappointed that I won’t give 1 star because the of the building… Hostess was ok although he almost passed people in front of me for absolutely no reason. Me and my friends went to Sachi first; The waitress kept pushing water even though we were ordering bottles of wine, at some point bringing and opening a bottle of water we didn’t even want to but whatever we decided to go with it… she took a long time to come back to take our food order after we said we were ready and on our 2nd bottle of wine. Food came fast. Wagyu tataki was good but trout tartare came with crisps that was impossible to eat. I’d kindly recommend to the head chef review this as it’s a very difficult dish to eat all together but the flavours are spectacular! All sushi was great, eel, tuna, yellow tail.. shout out to mushroom one! Amazing! Sadly my 2 stars go all to service. First we were informed that we had some options of dessert for my friends bday… and when ordered they have simply ran out… I guess for a restaurant charging so much, you’d should be better prepared? 13.5% service charge and the waiter at the roof top after dinner, dropped half of a bottle of wine on my dress while was serving the first glass… the I asked to have a new bottle, he was distressed and had to speak to his manager about it and we were waiting for about 30-40 minutes to be served after spending almost £300 at the restaurant and £60 in a bottle of wine dropped on my dress. Food is good but service was HORRIBLE.

Fabulous experience. Nigiri was fresh and simply delicious (especially the fatty tuna). Staff were very tactful and not annoying, approaching our table exactly when needed. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and as a person who pays attention to the lighting (I can’t stand strong lights which make me wanna leave ASAP) I must say I felt really comfortable there and had a great time.

Had lunch on the Terrace. Food was very good. Had the chefs selection sushi, duck and Skate. All extremely fresh, tasty and seasoned perfectly. We had Reisling for wine which was amazing. The restaurant itself is stunning, very chilled and Terrace is very comfortable. Service was good when we were attended to but waiters were not very attentive today and not just our table. Many around us I noticed were looking for a while before the caught the waiters attention. I would give the place another try given the food was good but if the service was the same again, that would be the last.

Excellent selection of sashimi , amazing fresh wasabi!

The decorations are fantastic! And it’s good to enjoy the sunshine at the terrace in summertime. Although there are not too many choices of the food, what we ordered were tasty. Drinks are a bit pricy.

Sachi is the restaurant on the bottom floor of Pantechnicon. It’s a lovely ambient Japanese restaurant. Service was a little slower than I would have liked, but the food was (mostly) excellent. We ordered the beef/steak which was average. Wouldn’t order that again. The sashimi was delicious and I particularly enjoyed the miso aubergine.

Yava was attentive, always had a warm welcoming smile, made sure we were familiar with the menu and made customs recommendations. It was all fantastic.

We had a great lunch at Sachi with tasty food and friendly, attentive service. We especially loved the miso soup, the duck—which was perfectly cooked—and the seasonal vegetable tempura, which included some delicious enoki tempura. We definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the area.

Came for lunch for my partners birthday, and was served by the wonderful Yava. The atmosphere is lovely, the music is great, the decor is lovely and it feels so private and cosy while still being extremely elegant. The food was absolutely delicious - we had the pb and regular lunch omakase which was a great mix of flavours and dishes. Could not have asked for a better meal experience, thank you so much to Yava and team, we had an amazing time!!

Great food, we loved all our dishes. We took 2 of our own wine bottles for our special gathering and called them in advance to confirm their corkage fee, we waited on hold for awhile so the receptionist could check it with the manager and we were told it was £35 per bottle. We turned up and the female sommelier insisted it’s £45 per bottle and completely ignored our earlier confirmation. Kept on saying “£45 ok? Ok?”. Why would you not go and check with the manager who said a different price to us instead of the take it or leave it attitude. We had no choice but to accept but after her opening the first bottle nobody came back to change our wine glasses or pour after the first pour. They should honour what they tell their customers and better manners from sommelier would have helped also.

I ended up in this beautiful place by chance... in fact the starred restaurant where I had booked didn't have a menu for peanut intolerants like me! 😳 The place is very nice, the food is very fresh and excellent, the service is perfect and excellent cocktails prepared with entertaining skill by a very good barman.

Had the set menu. It was my birthday dinner. Every dish was tasty especially the misu aubergine for me. Cocktails amazing. Staff recommended the matcha cocktail for me after dessert. I really liked it but if matcha is not your favourite there are other drinks to choose from.

The sushi is okay, the grilled chicken meatballs, chicken breast, and pork are not good, but the grilled miso salmon is okay.
