The best restaurants in Mill Hill Barnet London

Went with a friend and ex-colleague. Was bitterly disappointed from the minute we walked in being frowned at for not booking in advance (we went at 630 to avoid any busy times for that exact reason) We were reluctantly given a table as long as we left after an hour. Very welcoming, not! My colleague and I are both vegetarian. We asked about the vege and vegan food options and were told to check that section on the menu. It was all very confusing so we asked again. The waiter either didn't understand us or did not want to, he just kept saying it was OK. Eventually we realised the chicken on the vege menu was mock chicken but then we discovered that it's pretty much all cooked together. Our non vegetarian friend had a chicken soup and I asked about the vegan version which I was told was the same soup without the chicken. They could neither confirm nor deny that the soup simply didn't have chicken in it or if it was separate altogether. We then asked about some other vege dishes and I alerted them to the fact that I'm allergic to shell fish so there must not be any cross contamination. They then said they couldn't guarantee that. So they couldn't guarantee the vege meals were vege or not prepared with or alongside meat, fish or shellfish, and they couldn't promise the allergy needs would be met. We decided to not order anything. Our non-vege friend and her friend did. The waiting staff were impossible to engage and it really wasnt busy. When they did come, they were fairly abrupt. She said her food was nice but the portion sizes were tiny and it cost her £45 for a shared starter, one main and a glass of wine, plus service which she said didn't improve. To make things worse the owner seemed to treat others coming in very differently. We left her and her friend to it but they were really disappointed, as were we. FYI We went down the road to Baw instead, and had a beautiful and filling meal for half the price, served with a smile and full recipe disclosure!

Excelente comida, los dos teníamos platos de fideos y pensamos 5 * Servicio amable también. Este no es un lugar para quedarse, pero si viviera localmente sería un asiduo. Toca puntos de Wagamama y su calaña.

Very welcoming, and amazing food. Laid back atmosphere and no hassle . Get mangled on the Mangal chef special!

Saludable + muy sabroso! Mi favorito es el batido Wake me Up, pero todo sabe muy bien y es creativo aquí; a excepción de los pasteles crudos. No los recomendaré :)

¡Las baguettes de aquí son deliciosas, muy frescas y tienen un olor increíble! El personal es amable y servicial y está abierto los 7 días de la semana.

This place is cute with lovely staff, games as well as a very nice beer garden! I'm coeliac and the food I can have on the menu is delicious, especially a fan of their hot wings (and they do gluten free fish & chips and burgers upon request!) Very nice & friendly vibe (and dog friendly as well) Would definitely recommend!

Ordered a chicken biriani to take away with curry sauce instead of the raita Totally delicious!

La comida y el personal son excelentes - me encanta. Restaurante propio de la vieja escuela. Los niños juegan golf antes. Gran sala de fiestas brillante en la parte de atrás. Empacados y ocupados y aún así los trabajadores son correctos y a tiempo y nos encanta. Ven aquí una vez al mes.

Absolutely terrible customer service! I drove down to Yogopink Mill Hill High Street, Sunday mid afternoon, to buy the £5 yogurt treats as a takeaway for 5 kids. I was told in order for me to buy the deserts for the kids I need to bring the kids down!!! I was shocked - I need to have the kids with me to buy the product for them?! The worker behind the counter was rude, aggressive and unreasonable. She could not provide any reason why I needed the kids with me to make the purchase other than just repeating ‘that’s how it is’. I left the shop fuming, clearly with no intention of going back, ever. I was about to spend nearly £50 on treats for kids & adults, instead walked out shocked by the appalling service of the local business.

Visitamos Bank Food & Drink en Mill Hill anoche para la cena y bebidas. Un lugar súper impresionante, interiores impresionantes con una sensación del West End al lugar. Un gran menú, a cargo del chef Tony; disfrutamos de una selección de entrantes y tuve el solomillo para la alimentación (mi foto no le hace justicia, así que no postear!). Gran comida, servicio excepcional y hospitalidad de Armando y su equipo. Sin duda vale la pena visitar para una noche especial cuando no quieres viajar a Londres.

Visito los tres martillos cada vez que vengo a ver a mi amigo en Mill Hill. Siempre he estado satisfecho con la comida, hoy no fue la excepción, pero hoy recibí un servicio que fue excepcional. UN GRAN AGRADECIMIENTO a Marlon por su amabilidad, amabilidad y servicialidad. Hiciste una gran diferencia. Lamento que no se permita al personal abrir la caja para intercambiar billetes por monedas. Solo tenía un billete de £ 10 y quería dejar una propina para un servicio tan excepcional.

Closed, this place used to be really good but hasn't been open for a couple of weeks, you can see through the window all the tables are set and the post piled up on the floor. No note on the window to explain, shame.

5 stars for Cosmin. The best waiter ever . He was very polite and had knowledge about the menu and he gave full attention to our table. Thanks again ❤️
