Pizza Express in Barnet

I went to pizza express in Mill Hill with my friends the manager was very nice and so were the waiters, the food was delicious and it came quick.

Quality food and friendly staff at a high standard make's you feel welcomed and wanna be back. Cosmin is a kind and friendly waiter! Thanks Pizza Express Mill Hill!

Whilst the menu and food is no different from any other pizza express, this place falls apart at the service. No front of house so multiple diners seated themselves. We felt ignored the whole evening to the point where I nearly called the restaurant to try and get some kind of service. Very disappointing, especially when the store wasn’t particularly busy.

We recently celebrated our daughter's 10th birthday party at Pizza Express, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from the pizza-making activity for the kids to the attentive service for the parents. All the kids had an amazing time creating their own pizzas, and the parents really appreciated the relaxed and fun atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the party was seamless thanks to the wonderful team. We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate, and we'll definitely be back! Highly recommend for a fun and memorable celebration!

First time visiting for a kids birthday party. Could see that it was very busy for a Saturday night but we was waiting at the door for ages...with four kids despite having a booking...to the point receiving a call while standing there asking us if we were gonna turn up on time...finally sat at the table, took ages to order, ages to get drinks and food. Could see that the waiters were understaffed... appreciate their efforts as seemed overwhelmed. I am absolutely not convinced by the food either. The only good thing was the kids menu with the dough balls and vegetables with tasty Pizza. And the meal deal where we got a£1 deal pizza. Won't be back

Really poor service, plates not cleared away. Took ages to be served any desserts. Had to go and find someone twice to come over to serve. Quite cramped and really noisy.

After being a regular customer of Pizza Express since it opened this is probably the very worst service we’ve ever received. Not the fault of the staff who are rushed off their feet but some management somewhere haven’t got a grip on what it takes to properly staff a restaurant. A great name gone to pot. Nearly an hour and no pizzas. Never again

We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, the food was great and also I would like to present my thanks to a very special waiter you've got there Cosmin who's doing a great job,he's very knowledgeable about the menu and recommend us ,as we asked him, what we should try,also a very happy and smiley person ,has a good sense of humor. food abit cold as driver went too much up my road..

We were ignored completely by the waiter on the day. We were ready to order, waived at him but instead whe went and attended other people that came after us. In Mill Hill I would say they treat people according to their skin colour unfortunately

The crispy potatoes were not crispy it was boiled and cut that’s it!

Burnt end pizza without burnt ends 😢

We waited half an hour to order and it took another half an hour for the food to come. I ordered a prawn peperonata and the pasta was burnt as well as cold. Then, we had to wait another half an hour for the bill to come and so the service was really not great.

Waited an hour for our food. Another 30 mins for bill and to order. Service was rubbish but nice food, though cold.

Lovely place to eat, the garden at the back is the place to be. Lovely atmosphere and well looked after by the manager who was there tending to the plants. I was served by Cosmin who was excellent, patient and professional as well as friendly. Highly recommended.

We had our child's birthday party here and it was fabulous. The little ones have pizza workshop hosted by chefs Lorysa and Cokie and they are absolutely patient and great with the children. The children had a blast and enjoyed the pizza they make together with chefs.

Food was great but the service was terrible and very slow. One of the waiters was quite rude as well.

The food took an hour to arrive. We came with two children who had to wait. The waiter was helpful but could have communicated better. However the team did apologise.

we got our dinner then they said they had no sauces. for pudding they only gave us the chocolate fudge cake and ice cream and everyone else that ordered sorbet and ice cream didn’t get them and we waited over an hour for the fudge cake. we were going to be late to the theatre so we had to leave without having puddings but we pre payed for the main meals and all the puddings. they also kept ignoring us when we asked them for certain things. terrible

So I took my nephews here on Saturday 13th July at 12.30 pm ordered about 6 minutes later we didn’t receive the food until 1:35pm, now I don’t visit pizza express often but the wait time was very frustrating. There were only 5 tables occupied of which 3 were eating when we arrived in the restaurant. So I cannot fathom why on earth it would take nearly an hour to bake two children’s pizzas?? Not impressed with the service at all. But the kids did enjoy their pizzas!

Nasir was an amazing server and we had a great experience! the food was delicious and the starters were excellent and we were left impressed and full.

Late again and order cold again as I always get delivery from u but the driver told me that it's very confusing..🤔

It was a hot night, so we sat near the open front. But others were smoking which was not nice. The staff were lovely, but the service a bit slow towards the end

cosmic is very kind good service

They always send the food cold or burn it! I pass by and it’s always quiet so I wonder why they cant get the simple pizza right!!

I almost never write restaurant reviews, but we met a waiter there who had to be recognized publicly. Cosmin was his name and he was phenomenal. He was prompt, smart, caring, and knowledgable about the food. And he just had this friendly demeanor about him that made us all happy. By the end of our dinner, two of us said, "He's the best waiter we've ever had in London". By the way, the food is pretty good and the menu is diverse. But overall pretty good place. Thank you Cosmin for the wonderful service!

I had such an amazing time at Pizza Express. Ozlem provided us with the best customer service we've had at any restaurant. The waiters really cared to ensure we got everything we wanted. And the food was great. I would definitely recommend and will return in the future.

We had an amazing evening there last night! The service is top! We were lucky to be greeted by Turkish lady (she is absolutely amazing, lovely lady) who explained us everything and was really helpful in choosing the meal! Overall very warm welcome, and delicious dinner

Absolutely appalling customer service, rude waiters and a slow and tedious wait for food and basic assistance from the waiters. It is an understaffed branch of pizza express that truly is not fit for service. I will not be coming back and highly urge anybody considering visiting this branch to find somewhere elsewhere.

Rubbish service. Never pick up phone. If they do, instructions overlooked, mess up food or continues with cancelled order.

Absolutely awful!! Appalling service with staff that appeared extremely deflated and unbothered. Pizza looked like it had seen better days. Pasta was tasteless not to mention overly cooked with mountains of cheese. This place should be closed down and a better restaurant should take its place. How pizza express has survived I don't know, perhaps because 5 year olds don't care about the quality of food and their tired mums just need a break!! £70 down the drain, absolutely gross.

I was served by Rishabh who was really friendly and in the ball. The hot honey dough balls were super tasty, the pizza was surprisingly amazing i had low Expectations for pizza express but they knocked it out the park! Highly recommend this particular pizza express!

Absolutely amazing. I went with my friend on the 21st of Feb for lunch. I have to say… Eveything about pizza express in Mill Hill is perfect. The food, service, speed, and atmosphere was wonderful and could not be better!!! Massive shoutout to Cosmin and The manager of the place. They were absolutely incredible and could not have been better. If I were the owners I would give Cosmin and the manager a huge raise/payrise. Well done pizza express Mill Hill. Lovely food. As expected, very busy on Valentine’s Day at 8pm so service was a bit slow, but I can’t fault them for this. Great service otherwise, friendly and attentive staff and great atmosphere. Lovely cocktails.

It’s a very decent place to spend some quality time and to have good food.

Prizza was well made and staff understood our needs the only thing I didn’t like we was located near the chef area. As it was quite would have been nice to be located in the front of the restaurant. Recommendations to offer kids meals for a big group. One of our starters arrived later.
