Cash only and they didn't tell us when we ordered. Apparently they knew that they couldn't take card but it was a "server's mistake" to not tell us that vital information. We had to go to a cash machine because the transfer didn't work. Abysmal.
Wonderful vibes with lovely people! The cocktail menu was excellent and the staff really made sure we were looked after having a great time!
Highly recommend and will defo visit again!
Good venue for pre-night out drinks, stellar service from the lady serving at the tables. Not easy to spot as it's in the basement.
Cocktails are nice (particularly the Up in Smoke one) but esthetically they look fairly similar, other bars offer more captivating personalisations to make them recognizable and differentiated.

Food is amazing but staff are rude and have no customer service and don’t know how to talk to people on the phone, real shame staff ain’t the quality of the food
Our first time at this Greek restaurant. The food was so delicious – it felt like a home-cooked and made us feel like we were in Greece. I had gemista, which is my favourite. They also have a wide range of drinks and cocktails. Lovely place. We will definitely be back.
There's a reason this restaurant has been going for decades. Family run with excellent food and service.
Still excellent every visit. These guys are at the top of their game and the chef is also top class.
Apart from the excellent steaks (always perfectly cooked) and lamb that I ask the chef to cook rare and serve with what he wants, there is a hidden gem on the wine list. If you want a red wine then go for the Susumaniello as it's perfection for the money.
Every visit is a fantastic experience as I go with somebody who's been going to La Rosetta since 1988 and so we usually bump in other long standing customers and make an afternoon of it.
Always a pleasure to be here for a meal and I travel for about 2 hours to go to this restaurant and so take this as a high recommendation.
Another great visit, staff are always so friendly and welcoming and it's really like being part of the family.
I attended the dinning experience yesterday evening with a group of my friends and family at El Inca Plebeyo Restaurant with the amazing two chefs who crafted a menu infused with a blend of Ecuadorian and Mediterranean cuisines from starters to dessert. There was also a dedicated wine maker who recommend the best wine for each dish.
I hope El Inca Plebeyo does more amazing events like this again :-).
There are a lot of Spanish tapas restaurants in London.
There are not however, a lot of consistently excellent tapas restaurants.
Escocesa is exactly that: consistently excellent.
The authentic menu, quality ingredients and delightful presentation all add to the depth of the cuisine.
Add a nice wine and cocktail list and you’re all set!
Absolutely delicious pizzas at a great price, where do you even find that these days? There’s seating in the back too. We came with our kids, and the owner even played a movie for them. Definitely planning to come back!
