Pitta Hut in Lambeth

Another lovely meal at Pitts Hut. We always order take away & the service during our food waiting time is always excellent. Even when we arrive at home, the food is still amazing & at a perfect temperature. Thank you for your kind serve at all times.

This restaurant, from the minute I entered, filled me with dread. The two staff employed here stiff up to welcome us from the one table we thought was occupied. The food was poor. Really poor. We got a reduction on our final which was greatly appreciated but to be honest, my advice is don’t go here so you can avoid the situation of paying for inferior food. The pittas served with hummus for a starter was lovely alongside olives made for a nice starter. At £5:50 each it made for expensive starters. The main course of two lamb and one chicken gyro we’re extremely poor. Burnt and insignificant amount of lamb made for this gyro to be poor. The chicken gyro was not fresh. Neither of the three gyros were freshly cooked. we got a 20% reduction because all three of us left our meals more than half finished. Rather than a reduction, I would rather pay these slightly exalted prices and get good food rather than pay these prices and feel cheated and slightly understood by getting a reduction. My meal was not worth the £42 I paid for it adding in the reduction we received because not one of us ate our main meal. I eased off on complaining because we had to be elsewhere but if I had time, I wouldn’t pay what I paid for this poor food. This is not good for the customer.

Best Falafels I have ever had. Host is warm and welcoming. Food is delicious and served artistically. Greek music plays in the background- felt we were in Greece with amazing weather, sitting outside. Pitta Hut is an authentic Greek Restaurant sitting in Clapham. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed. Ambience is great. I had chosen a veg option and was more than satisfied. Beautiful food and the amount is quite large. Well worth your money!

Good size portions, food was good, not great. And looked tasty. Service can be better - appetisers missed, could have been easily fixed. Greek music alone doesn’t make it feel Greek. Would have been nice to have more ouzo options

Wonderful authentic Greek food. The staff could not have been more helpful. Our daughter has food intolerances to garlic onion abs gluten. They helped us work out what she could eat. We had a mixed starter, a Greek salad, mixed grill for 2, lamb chops and A bottle of wine plus 2 more glasses of wine. For 3 of us it was just over £100. Amazing value. Thank you👍🏼

Very real Greek food which is authentic in a way which is rear in London Very much enjoyed We had a mixed starter for 2 which was plenty for 3 The main course of a mixed grill for 2 plus lamb chops for the 3 of us was all delicious and again the size of the portion was enough for anyone A simple small unpretentious place which exceeds expectations

Fabulous home cooked authentic food. Great atmosphere, very friendly service, well worth a visit. Great for families. The waitress was fab. We’ll definitely come back for more. Easy to park too
