I understand that the right to this beautiful management takes a hold on the claps while I speak about the timeless efforts put by our chefs to pace themselves to plate our plates for our parculiar reason Fine dining
The food was good. Hot and fresh as is normal with Honest Burger.
However the staff were not as friendly as some of the other branches I have visited.
It felt a very rushed experience, even though it was not so busy. Maybe the staff at the Oxford Circus branch could give the guys at Waterloo a few tips on customer service.
The atmosphere was ok. There was a group of drunk guys in being a bit loud, but other than that the experience was good. The music volume was good, loud enough to hear without being overbearing - we were able to have a conversation without having to shout, which was great.
The card payment didn't work first time, which was a little embarrassing - apparently the connection is not great, so they have this issue a lot.
I would still give it another try if I was in the area, as the staff may well have just been having an off day!
Spanish restaurant near Battersea Park with an extensive menu. The service is attentive, and the service is stylish yet inviting, with a charming terrace for sunnier days. We indulged in octopus, paella, and a selection of croquettes, the paella was generously portioned for two and full of flavour.
Go to Thai in the area, it’s similar to New York type of Thai restaurants which is difficult to find in London. Staff are friendly and food is great. Highly recommended.
I would not recommend this place, and it has nothing to do with the food. The pricing was reasonable, and the food was excellent, but the staff stood by as I was harassed by what seemed to be a regular for nearly 30 minutes.
I arrived early and was waiting for a friend when a visibly drunk man entered and sat directly next to me, effectively trapping me in my booth. He slammed his hand on my table to get my attention, immediately making me uncomfortable. He then proceeded to harass me for 10 minutes until my friend arrived.
For a brief moment, he stopped, only to resume his behavior minutes later, ignoring my friend’s attempts to intervene. This is a small restaurant, and I was visibly uncomfortable the entire time. The staff had full view of what was happening but made no attempt to step in or assist me.
When I finally saw an opportunity to leave, I tried to get up, only for the man to block my path again. He eventually left, and only then did the waiter come over to take my order. To be clear, this is a small space with only a few tables on the first floor—there was no way for the staff to have missed what was happening. I am exceptionally disappointed that none of them thought it was worth intervening. The drunk man also hugged the staff while leaving, so clearly he is somewhat familiar with them. If you are a women alone, I would not recommend coming here. Maybe this was a one off, but to allow that to happen is pretty disappointing.

This hotel doesn't provide a good price/performance ratio but if your preference is a Hilton backround at a good location it's a good location. We stayed in the king room which was fair enough for a 3 nights stay. The crew was trained to welcome perfectly but when you ask something they were like a call center

Well worth the visit and definitely coming back. The new menu was amazing, Guinea Fowl was full of flavour and the pastry casing crisp and buttery. The soufflé is worth the visit in its own right. The Chicken supreme was perfectly cooked and the mash was smooth and creamy. I went for the Pork Ribeye
And must say this blew my mind. Think it was Sousvide then caramelised for a crispy finish, amazing, defo gonna try to replicate this. Staff was lovely, very attentive but not in your face. Made the visit feel special for our date night. Meal was very reasonable priced and the Merlot wine was defo worth getting two bottles 😂

Nice pub, excellent range of beers, but can be quite pricey - bottles of fancy beer go as high as £50!
Can get pretty busy but if you go upstairs then weirdly there will likely be nobody there and you can get a table to yourself and some peace and quiet if that’s what you’re after.
