Heath Street Kitchen in Camden

Love this little cafe; the food is delicious, the service always attentive and charming, and there is always space, unlike other cafes locally which like to keep people queueing! Highly recommend the all day menu, breakfast and brunch through to light evening meals, it´s all good.

It was a cool evening and the front door was open so the restaurant was not warm. We ordered the Korean chicken with a garlic purée, goats cheese, some salt and rosemary fries and the monkfish. The waitress did not write the order down and when she tried to repeat the order she needed to be corrected. The monkfish was fine. The fries were awful and no hint of rosemary. When she brought what looked like the chicken it turned out to be the cauliflower bites!!The fries were from a frozen bag which you do not usually find in a Hampstead’s restaurant!! The pear dessert was tasty. We had a cocktail which was nice and fruity. All food was very mediocre and not really worth the £70 we paid for two. A no return for me!!

Have been before so was good follow up and the news is good. Confess i thought brave openng post Covid plus all other well publicised issues in the industry. So, please they seem to have weathered the storm and everyone i knw has been speak positively about. What to order? easy....everything! I had the KFC ( Lorean fried chiken) , salt pepper squid and lamb cutlets. Howver the apricot thing, goats chees thing and the truffle spuds things were all excellent. Wine list very reasonable ( sauvignon and cote de rhone). Nice people and I wish them well. And thanks for the limoncello.

Excellent evening. Friendly staff. Menu has so many delicious dishes and all the ones we chose were SO good! Locally sourced produce. We will be back.

We had a delicious brunch at Heath Street Kitchen. The staff were attentive and very friendly. The menu was great - so many things I wanted to choose so we’ll have to come back. I would definitely recommend - it’s got a lovely laid back atmosphere.
