The owner with his bullish attitude -rude and arrogant! Luke warm tea and limp and the omelet totally tasteless! Avoid

Great place for an affordable breakfast. Their coffee is delicious and this is now my favourite place to pick up a latte and sausage which are the best around. Although this place is busy we can always find somewhere to sit and the staff are so welcoming and work really hard. 10/10 - please support small, local businesses

Just tried today's special Turkish Stuffed Aubergine rice and Salad 😋 really enjoyed. Very friendly happy staff pleasure to visit. Thank You look forward to trying more specials of the day.

I wish this was near where I live. (I live 150 miles away). But it is amazingly practical. I just had a burger - for a couple of quid ! In London ! My wife had a sausage roll. We couldn't get over the total practical, common sense, value for money approach. And more to the point so tasty. We were in London to help someone move, and quite happily treated everyone to a bacon butty. Win-Win. In fact we had 3 meals in 2 days there. When we return it will be our eating place of choice.

Not nice to see bad reviews from people who don’t like dogs in this cafe, just because they allow regular loyal customers with dogs to sit in their premises does not mean they are running a dirty establishment. We frequent Shepherds regularly and they are always cleaning, dogs are not permitted on chairs and we are asked to make sure our dog is kept on the floor. Service and friendliness of staff and quality of food is excellent Local company for local people 👍

Very disappointed, i have been going to this café quite a lot in the past but today has just made me sick to my stomach.... Staff allow dogs in the café when they have open counters....I questioned why there was dogs inside (being a health and safety hazard and a contamination in a food establishment) she replied to say "why don't you like dogs?" And that "they are our regulars", I think that this is extremely unacceptable, even at these tough times I know money is tight...but going way against food preparation legislations i will NOT be coming back!

Bought a pk of 2 seeded rolls from my local shop that are made by Shepherds. I am in E2. Beautiful rolls sweet and soft.

Fantastic family run bakery and cafe' improved in all areas since under their ownership. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere, great coffee, excellent food. Highly recommended.

Asked someone to get me a cheese and tomato roll. This is what he came back with! Was I robbed at point of sale or by my friend? Red and green tomatoes and a sugarless doughnut!

Very clean and you smell bread which was lovely but they need to wrap bread rolls up

I felt compelled to write a review after buying their 4 x pack of raisin/cinnamon free hot cross buns. I would suggest they rename them “Bread buns”

Honestly, lovely little bakery. Not many good ones round our way. I would recommend it above village deli, KO and all them ones. Brilliant staff and atmosphere! Good luck guys!
