Cup of watery acidic black coffee, hot chocolate, two dry stodgy cakes and small toasted cheese sandwich. £22. Not impressed.

An original and ethical coffee shop in Sanderstead. One of our favourites as the staff are superb, Megan is a ray of sunshine and sold me on the vegan brownies which are the best, veganism aside! Great coffee and original sandwiches. That's their selling point! Different than all the chains and smiling, happy staff always willing to help my husband get in with his wheelchair.

I popped in here with my friend and between us we ordered some cappuccinos and an apple and blackberry crumble muffin and a slice of carrot cake. The baked goods here are delicious and the hot drinks very well made. I will definitely come back.

Interesting independent coffee shop with a good selection of food on display. Staff were helpful and willing to talk us through some of the selections. Coffee was good quality too. Well positioned for us to have a break before taking our granddaughter to the park. We will return.

I popped in here for a takeaway coffee yesterday. It has been quite some time since I’ve been here but they still remembered me - and my favourite cake! Lovely coffee, friendly service and lots of baked goods to choose.

Very pleasant service and delicious toasted bloomer. Unfortunately spoiled by a very dry and gritty chocolate cake. The first time we have experienced this. Maybe it’s a one off but be careful Filtr, you don’t slip on your lovely cafe standards :)

My friend and I decided to pop in here for coffee and cake yesterday and it did not disappoint. There was an array of baked goods on offer - sweet and savoury and lots of homemade sourdough bread sandwich options on the board available too. They all looked delicious. I opted for a decaf cappuccino with a slice of lime and pistachio cake and my friend a cappuccino and a slice of chocolate cake. The coffee was really very good and the cake was utter perfection in every bite and truly delicious. It was light and perfectly balanced in flavour and I devoured the whole thing before I could even think about it. I shall definitely come back here to try some of their other baked items. I would highly recommend this lovely, little coffee shop.

The most polite owner and coffee shop staff in the Village of Sanderstead. Interesting conversations on world music, with musicians, politest member of staff has purple hair, and the Rose Pistachico cake is to die for. As a writer and poet of coffeeshop books for meditation on spirituality, jazz and therapeutics - I love sitting on my own, whilst my hubby is overseas and I get to have short inspirational chats. All the best to Filtr. Would be lovely to see a weekly book club in the mornings

This is just what Addiscombe high street needed! A cosy place with honestly great coffee. Then there’s the food. Sourdough to die for and some incredible cakes and pastries. We’ve become regulars and won’t be getting our coffees anywhere else from now on. Treat yourself to a visit and a wonderful experience.

I couldn't be happier that Filtr opened up in late 2019 and is still with us despite Covid-19. For great coffee, hot chocolate and pastries, look no further in the knowledge that you're supporting an independent. Can't wait to sit back in sometime and watch the world go by.

So lovely to see a quality indie coffee shop opening up in the neighbourhood, rather than yet another branch of the usual overpriced high street chain meh. Even better to discover they source their beans direct from shade-grown coffee farmers, and roast them themselves. I...

Mr Fox was my wedding venue and since they decided to ignore my comments and feedback, I am taking the time to write a review on google. I was disappointed with how the day was organised. I chose Mr. Fox because they have an extensive selection of unalcoholic drinks. Unfortunately these were not provided as me and my husband both don’t drink alcohol. Another thing that was disappointing was the fact that they expected everything to be cleared on the day. When they usually open up for business at 4pm. I don’t see why there were guests running around to fix this when we were in agreement that this wouldnt happen. There was really no one to assist in cutting the cake and me and my husband had to do it. I didn’t think of it as a massive concern more so than the others but this was my general experience. For what I have paid for I definitely expected a lil more from Mr Fox but specifically the drink selection was the let down.
