This inconspicuous cafe is a gem in all of east London: fresh bakery made in the premises like many traditional portuguese cafe-bakeries. The quality is supreme and everything is fresh out of the oven. Lots of variety to choose from. Don't let the shabby, ran-out exterior of the premises put you off: this is a top knotch bakery.

Great pastries but oh the cakes! Best place to get a wonderful, light and delicious birthday cake or any sort of cake. Let them know what you’re after in advance and they make it, I tell you you won’t regret it!

This place is just amazing. has some traditional Portuguese food but the best part is the cakes. they have party cakes, normal traditional patisserie and little cakes as well. everything looks amazing and as soon as you walk in you just want to try all of them! very dangerous. Really recommend a visit. I have recommended this place to some of my friends after I brought some of their cakes to work, and they absolutely love it.Also is super cheap for London place

The Good: Great meal portion, 'Picadinho' tastes like home food. – 5 Stars. Good variety of fresh pastries. The Bad: Customer service is very average. I might not be the most attractive human, however a smile, everyone deserves to receive. The Ugly: Seating on a table full of crumbs from previous customers, couple tables left with plates n cups from previous diners, cafe was not busy and yet tables were not cleared unless maybe a customer complaints?? My overall rating is 4 stars simply because the food is good and the owner being a very nice person. Shame his not around often (business trips I take it).

We popped in for a quick breakfast hoping in a good coffee and big tasty pastry. We did got the big goody but a very super hot latte instead of the cappuccino asked for. There was one server back to the desk and she looked very busy doing other things even if the place had only one table occupied. There were few party cakes made to be collected which were looking so good. The place seems need a little refreshment but is cute, looking as a family conduction business. We did stop one more time for a take away sweetness,

This place reminds me all cakes I ate whilst on Holidays in Cascais, Portugal. Their pastéis de Nata (custard tarts) are delicious. They have a wide selection of cakes and I believe you can place orders for birthday or other celebration cakes. Their lunch menu is also quite nice. Strongly recommend the custard tarts and the chorizo bread!

This review is for the Bom Pecado in Leabridge Road in Leytonstone. This is a small, very friendly café that serves simple but delicious meals and snacks. I have tried their home-made soups, like caldo-verde and chickpea soup, all freshly made in the premises. They have a bakery at the back, where they bake bread and cakes. The cakes are very good: although you can buy ‘pasteis de nata’ in lots of cafes in London, some are a pale imitation of the proper ones, but these are the real deal; blink and you could be in Belém in Lisbon, the home of the pastel de nata. I have also ordered birthday cakes from them and I have not been disappointed. Friendly atmosphere, a meeting point for the Portuguese-speaking community and very popular with locals as well.
