The best restaurants in London

I simply got a coffee here so I can only speak for that. They give you options for oat milk, regular, coconut milk, and there may be another option. I did a chocolate mocha with coconut milk and it was most fragrant. The barista was fast but it still came with some latte art. If you choose to get the coffee/drinks in a to-go cup, you are allowed to walk around the museum with it. There are a lot of tables in a well-lit space by the windows. Many people were eating fish and chips.

We visited here having been to see The Snowman. I was with my daughter and twin 3 year old granddaughters but the whole experience was disappointing to say the least. My daughter ordered and I wanted to use the disabled toilet - it's easier with 2 little people but it was locked and staff couldn't find the key. We were sent upstairs to use the toilets there, but had to wait for our order because we needed a code! Having washed their hands, my granddaughter sat on the floor so we needed to wash our hands again, but I couldn't remember the code. Yes, this is my fault - but it certainly doesn't help the experience, phoning my daughter who was downstairs with the receipt (and the code). I gave my daughter £50 for our meal and was surprised when she said it wasn't enough. My daughter and I had a burger and chips and the girls SHARED a hot dog (no chips). We had three drinks between the 4 of us. That's 3 meals - £53.80 !! Dirty table, dirty floor (if your granddaughter decides to lie on it), no disabled toilet, codes for the upstairs toilets and overpriced food presented in a piece of foil. Chips were pale and flabby and not hot. Service was quick and staff were polite. When the boys at school asked about my week-end, I told them about my experience. Why didn't you just go to Nando's, was their response. Why indeed?! There's another fast food place round the corner that would have been £30 cheaper.

Everything was on point, deep fried butterfly prawns.. yum. Salt & pepper ribs.. spicy. Pork dumplings was lovely - was not a fan of the sauce it came with though but good all the same. The sweet & sour chicken was cooked to perfection with a lovely crispness to it, yum. The Singapore chiw mein was spicy and the egg fried rice wasn't too bad. We had some lushious fresh juices to wash it down with. Will definitely go back again.

Friendly staff but tea was lukewarm and so weak I could taste the teabag more than the tea in it. For some reason served in a dishwasher stained glass rather than a cup or mug with a handle, requiring a cardboard sleeve if you were lucky enough to be served a hot drink, which is a waste of resources even if recycled. Noisy when busy.

Personal increíblemente grosero. Esperamos 15 minutos para un café para llevar después del club de carreras y preguntamos dónde iba a decirse “solo espera afuera, será mucho tiempo”. Luego nos dieron café frío como castigo por preguntar dónde estaba. AVOID

Meal was cold, especially fries had to reheat everything.

delivery driver called four times, and i explained how to deliver, but he did not bother. despite this got charged for the food and ubereats say that it was because i did not answer the calls from the driver. utter lie and fraud

Lamentablemente visité este lugar ayer. El "restaurante" es pequeño pero fue una noche agradable, así que comimos afuera. La decoración es prácticamente nula por dentro y por fuera. Tuve tacos con carnitas: dos tacos pequeños (3 pulgadas de ancho) con un poco de carne de cerdo y algunas verduras. El sabor no es nada bueno. La carne había sido preparada previamente y estaba seca. Luego tuve enchilada sincronizada. Esto simplemente es un pequeño tostie de tortilla con jamón y queso. Las enchiladas deberían tener queso encima, pero literalmente rociaron una cantidad increíblemente pequeña. Por último, tuve totopos, un pequeño tazón de tortilla negra con chips secos. Insípido, pero a 1. 50 el único valor decente para el dinero que encontré. La elección de la cerveza se limita a un par de marcas de cerveza embotellada.   17) 50 años después todavía tenía hambre. Muy hambriento. Una nota: no me gusta el cilantro pero no pedí no usarlo. No esperaría que la comida mexicana tuviera mucha. Desafortunadamente había cilantro fresco en los tacos, mucho, e incluso en las "enchiladas". Si el cilantro te sabe a jabón, como a mí, aléjate de este lugar. Entonces: mala comida y no barata. Porciones pequeñas y cilantro innecesario. Es una estrella para mí. Lo siento.

Clean and friendly as Five Guys generally are. We popped in just to grab a packet of fries. |Luckily we only ordered a small portion between he two of us as there were a lot of fries. This goes some way to justifying the £4.25 price tag, but we always find Five Guys a pleasant environment in comparison to other fast food outlets. And the fries, fried in peanut oil were enjoyable, if a little salty.

I have been to this place many times and the food is very tasty. The portions are very generous . Good value for money.Service is courteous and fast. I only wish it was a proper restaurant rather than a plot in the super busy lower ground food court at Westfield Stratford.

Reservamos una mesa para 21 personas para celebrar nuestra fuga con nuestros amigos. Hicimos esta reserva el 25 / 11 / 2024 , así que exactamente dos meses antes de nuestra visita. Al llegar la mesa no estaba lista, pero no pensamos mucho en ello primero, ya que llegamos 20 minutos antes. Sin embargo, cuando llegaron las 10 de la noche nuestra mesa no estaba ni cerca de estar lista. Pedimos al personal y nos han dicho que esperemos. Pasan otros 10 minutos y nuestros huéspedes están prácticamente parados en el medio del restaurante sin ningún lugar para sentarse. Fue muy embarazoso para mí y mi marido. Sentimos que no lo hicimos bien por nuestra parte, mientras tanto no fue el caso ya que hemos tenido esta reserva hecha hace 2 meses, fue la administración de ESQ para resolver esto y tener nuestras mesas listas para nosotros a tiempo. La excusa muy débil del gerente fue que la gente sentada allí ahora mismo llegó tarde para sus propias reservas... Lo siento, pero eso no tiene nada que ver con nosotros. El restaurante sabía muy bien que vamos a entrar a las 10 pm. Fue a las 22: 40 tan 40 minutos después de nuestra cita reservada que pudimos sentarnos. Tuvimos una pareja que realmente dejó el lugar porque estaban estresados por esta situación. Antes nos gustaba esq pero la forma en que están gestionando este lugar es muy horrible. Los camareros están demasiado estresados, esperan mucho por las bebidas, a veces se sentía como si estuvieran evitando incluso mirar nuestra mesa, así que no necesitan completar nuestros pedidos. Se supone que fue una buena experiencia pero resultó ser una decepción.

This could be such a good pub… sadly it’s not family friendly. As per the previous reviews, the staff are very rude. The garden is great here and they have a children’s play area, but it shuts at 4pm. They have signs up as well saying children must be off the premises by a certain time. Unfortunately whilst there our children were shouted at by a lady behind the bar because they weren’t sitting down. Another lady came to collect our glasses before we were finished, when I said ‘would you like us to leave’. She said yes. Such a shame because of the garden - could be a great place for kids, but they don’t seem to want anyone there with a family. Go somewhere else is my advice - there are better places not far.
